but is there a way to record a script?
i mean like an action
for example click and select a tool , the hand tool , and let photoshop write the script (that have the command to select the hand tool)
or is there a tool to convert an action to a script?

So I have a musical keyboard that I've attached to my macbook to record in Garageband. I have a ton of sounds on my keyboard from percussion, brass, piano, etc.
When I record, for example, a trumpet sound from my keyboard into Garageband, Garageband just records the notes using its one version of trumpet or piano or whatever.
How do I get GarageBand to just record the sound as is?
I tried the "real instrument" track option but that ends up record all sound from the microphone on the MacBook and not recording the sound through the MIDI connection.

I am recording the Arpeggios from my Motif rack ES into Logic Pro 7.2 in midi format but when I try to do this, the notes that I play on the keyboard also get recorded along with the arpeggios? Is there a way to record just what's coming out of the midi out (of motif rack es) and not the keys that you are pressing to kick off the arpeggio?

Either check your Motif's owners manual to see if you can disable the keys or make sure the keys are out of the arpeggio's range and use a transform object in the environment to filter out the unwanted notes.

Recording off Skype is like recording off the radio (if that's even done anymore), it's not like a DVR. The best you can do is continue to record the current audio. If you can resurrect whatever portion you saved earlier you may be able to splice the audio together. If your recorder didn't record it, then there isn't anything to retrieve since Skype doesn't record your calls.

Start by looking around the examples that ship with LabVIEW (if you are
using LabVIEW).
Also look around zone.ni.com for general data acquisition information &
examples. A good site.

Yes, you can. I did it awhile ago by recording a voice memo and synching that memo to my computer. I then pulled up the memo in GarageBand, and used the ringtone template there to create the ringtone and share it back to iTunes, and re-synch to the iPhone. Once it's back on the iPhone, go to settings to assign it as a ringtone for a person, or as an alarm, alert, or whatever. Anyway, that's how I did it. There may be an app out there by now that would make the process simpler. Hope this helps!

The matrox MXO2 is likely what you are referring to. It would be an extremely useful i/o device for you if the price is acceptable. It will have good resale value for a few years too if you ever wanted to get rid of it. With your camera's chip set and resolution of 850 lines you can capture via component to 4:2:2 color space by editing in a codec like DVCPRO 50 which is very efficient and looks great too. It is a big step above anything dv related which is 4:1:1 color space. If you ever drop your video signal down to dv quality you will take a big hit picture quality wise. Another device is the original AJA IO which connects via firewire and gives you component i/o as well as s-video, composite and digital component as well. The AJA IO's are selling on ebay for $600.00 - $750.00. They were around $2500.00 originally. You could also use an AJA LA which is basically the analog side of the IO and they are a little cheaper. Blackmagic multibridge is another product that is similar. These are all pro level equipment. You will need FCP.

Is there a way to record views to a pdf document

I have a simple application.cfc file that I placed in the folder with the pdf documents. I need to record the useage to these documents for management. It will record the views when a user goes to a html page or cfm page but not the pdf. Is there a way to count these?
I'm including my hit counter code from the application.cfc file although it does work for web pages.

The pdf files are not being recorded with your application.cfc because pdf files are not handled by ColdFusion. As such they do not go through the ColdFusion request cycle (including application.cfc).
I guess you could create a ColdFusion template to serve your pdf files. Then the request would go through application.cfc. Not sure that's the direction I would take just to report usage stats. Are you using any web analytics tool with your site (WebTrends, Google, etc.)? Those tools can report on file accesses. Or you could analyze the web server's log files yourself to see how many times the pdf files are being downloaded.

There are no apps that can record your screen like you want. Using Reflector or a similar app is the only option available.

I too am a happy user. One thing to think about is the resolution. If it's just for TV then you only need 640x480, so set your capture area to that, and also your desktop to as close to that as you can, that way you get a good frame rate.
I just did a test, to see that it will work. One trick is to use a hot corner to trigger the screen saver, that's better than recording nothing for a minute while the screen saver kicks in. Here's my test, recorded on my iMac G5:
