CS5 Master Collection not accepting my serial key

I have Adobe CS5 Master collection. I have a serial key for this software. I reinstalled my snow leopard and upgraded to lion on my macbook. Now I reinstalled the adobe master collection and am trying to use my serial key but it's not accepting it.
What can I do to get this key to work?

CS5 Master Suite - why so many serial keys?

I just installed CS5 Master Suite.
After registering my product code, I was given keys for:
CS5 Master Suite
Acrobat Pro 9
After Effects CS5 Color Finesse
Creative Suite 4 Production Premium
After Effects CS4 Color Finesse
The only keys i've been asked for are the first two.
An Internet search has mentioned Color Finesse is a plugin for After Effects. I've looked on the discs, but do not see this anywhere.
Even if I did find it...why would I want the filter/plugin for both CS4 and CS5?
Also...I noticed a folder on the third disk (CONTENT) that had a lot of fonts. But no other programs like the above. Just manuals.

This is explained by a few points:
1. Adobe Acrobat 9 is bundled separately from the rest of CS5 (likely for easier upgradability to Acrobat X).
2. Complimentary versions of some CS4 products are included with CS5, in support of those customers who are still on 32-bit platforms... But obviously if you a have 64-bit computer, you don't need to use them.
3. As for Color Finesse, there's more on the After Effects help page about that.

I've tried to install a downloaded version of cs5 master collection using the same serial number i used by installing it with the installation dvds and the error message says it's an invalid serial number

as my adobe cs 5 master collections keeps having icc profiles and visualization issues, i've tried to reinstall the hole package. my mac book pro dvd reader is broken, so i downloaded from the adobe website a master collection and tried to install it with the serial number i used in the former installation but a error messages says that it's an invalid serial number.
i've already tried to install from the dvd's in another mac and it worked, with the same serial number, so i'm out of solutions.
any thoughts that may help me?

Respecto a la instalación, repito la lección de ruta es un paso, que puede pasarse por alto, aunque no sé si la instalación convencional reconoce una red entre varios equipos.
No hay ningun mensaje que indique que descargas una versión u otra, tampoco hay o sale ningun mensaje cuando instalas un programa en chino, eso si, al introducir el no. de serie (que no es el adquirido para la versión en chino) te dice que no es válido y punto. No más explicaciones.
Asi que por favor explicanos lo preguntado al rincipio, o vuleve a descargar la versión correcta, en el idioma correcto y desde un lugar oficial de Adobe.
Creo que Adobe te puede facilitar esa descarga a traves de la web "Licensing" con unas claves que te facilitarán si logras ponerte en contacto directo con ellos en tu país, (que tampoco sabemos cúal es). Suerte.

CS5.5 Upgrade does not accept the serial number used for CS 5 Master Collection install

Installed CS5 Master Collection from disk with given serial number. CS5 Master Collection installed fine. Inserted CS 5.5 Design Standard disk, and entered its serial number. It asked for a qualifying product/serial number. I selected "Master Collection CS5" and entered the serial number I had just used to successfully install that product. I get an error saying "This serial number is not for a qualifying product. Please try another."

Serial Number or Activation Issues
You need to contact Adobe Support either by chat or via phone when you have serial number and activation issues.

This is not possible. Best step, deactivate the product from the help menu. Make a list of the machines and serial and reactivate again. So you know what serial is tight to what machine.

CS5 Master Collection Box Set - Where is Acrobat Pro 9 serial number?

I recently purchased the CS5 Master Collection Box Set - Student and Teacher edition. I have already properly registered myself as a Student with Adobe, and gotten a serial number which activated the Master Collection, but not apparently Acrobat Pro which is on a separate disc. I have searched through all the papers that came with the box, but so far no luck.
Anyone know where to track this down?

Yes, 24 digits for Acrobat on mine.
I have a sixth sticker on the box it has an eight digit number on it followed by the text: DVS/A.STAM.5.0.WIN,GEN,WWE,ACT. I think this is only the product code for the CS5 Master Collection for Windows.
The five serial numbers in the same order as above are 24, 34, 34, 24 and 24 digits.

I ran the Adobe Support Advisor and it came back without identifying any errors. However, when I closed the advisor this grayed out message come up:
"Creative Suite Product Install Inspector has identified the issue(s) that needs attention. An issue report has been generated. Adobe will use this issue report to helpaddress the issue(s) in the future."
I just spent 2 hrs with Adobe Tech Service and they could not identify a problem and suggested that I remove all 3 programs and reload. LR3 almost loads - it is in "Web" trying to open a flash gallery plug in when it fails. The other programs do not open at all...
I am going to remove and reinstall LR3 first and see what happens. Then I will (unless someone suggest something else), reinstall Windows 7. Reinstalling W7 was the only thing that worked for me when I initially installed CS5 for the first time...

Acrobat Pro 9 Extended not available for CS5 Master Collection

Hello Forum Folks:
I have a volume license account with 5 CS5 Master Collections.
As part of the CS5 MC suite Acrobat 9 Pro is included.
I was told by a sales rep that Acrobat 9 Pro Extended cannot be purchased as an upgrade from a suite product.
If I choose to purchase Acrobat 9 Pro Extended it would be as a stand alone product license at full price for all five licenses.
MY DILEMMA:
I only need one of the features that Acrobat 9 Pro Extended offers that's not included in the Pro version.
If I purchase 5 stand alone copies of Acrobat 9 Pro Extended, I will have 5 additonal licenses of Acrobat
outside of my 5 CS5 Master Collection licenses to keep up with.
So in effect I'll have 10 licenses of 2 different versions of Acrobat 9 Pro and Extended to upgrade
sometime in the future in order to keep all uniform and in sync.
This is not an efficient nor economical way to stay current with Adobe's fine products.
The Case manager I spoke with did a fine job attempting to assist me but was unable to find an effective solution.
She recommended that I post on the forum and an Adobe staff member might be able to contact me

I respect that you are employed by MicroSoft, but the compatability center is not always accurate. It indicated that Adobe Pro 8 was compatabile for both 32 bit and 63 bit - but it is not. I have upgraded to Adobe Pro 9 Extended because Adobe says that this is compatable with 64 bit. The Microsoft compatability center also says that v9 is compatable with 64 bit. But it is Not. I have upgraded Adobe to 9.3.0, and it is Still not working. I now have $700 invested in Adobe software that is non-functional due to W7 64 bit.
So although users can check the compatability center - as I did prior to purchasing my new laptop - but it may not be accurate.
And yes, I have updated the compatability center to indicate that the information there is incorrect.
I have searched/googled everything that I can think of, and still nothing helps. If you have a suggestion how to make this work, I am listening.

PPro and AE not installing in CS5 Master Collection

I was able to finally installl the CS5 Master Collection on my notebook, but I am having a problem with my workstation.
I can install everything except for Premiere Pro and After Effects.
I have a Boxxtech workstation running win7 64bit 8 GB RAM and an nVidia Quadro FX 3600 graphics card.
Following the suggestions made on the above mentioned thread:
Uninstalled any CS      products
Ran Windows Installer      Clean up Utility
Ran WinCS5 Clean up script      (all three options)
Ran msconfig and shut down      all but the basic MS startup processes
Rebooted
Ran WinCS5 Clean up script      (all three options) (again)
Rebooted
Logged on as the      Administrator
Installed CS5
I have tried this three times so far all with the same results: everything except After Effects and Premiere Pro installs.
I get the following details on the errors:

Still can't get it installed.
Based on suggestions I uninstalled CS5 complete, ran the cleaners, rebooted, etc etc, result nothing installed at all
Tried this several time same result.
Went on vacation
Came back followed darkmatters suggestions and voila could install everything...except Premiere Pro and After Effects
I needed to get some work done in the course of which I allowed the installed programs to get updates.
Finished the work I absolutedly needed to do and went back to try and install AE and PPro. No joy.
Help!!?? Please!

CS5 Master Collection: So much installs, even when I choose not to.

Hello everyone! I have installed Adobe CS5 for the mac, but have been very choosey in my install options. During the install, I only chose Photoshop, After Effects and OnLocation to install, as well as unchecking ALL of the other options. Low and behold, after the install in my Applications folder I have: Adobe After Efects CS5, Adobe Bridge, Adobe Encore CS5, Adobe Media Encoder CS5, Adobe OnLocation CS5, Adobe Photoshop CS5, Adobe Premiere CS5, Adobe Soundbooth CS5 folders.
Inside the Encore, Media Encoder, Premiere and Soundbooth folders are small apps that if I try to open it says: "You can't open the application xxxx because it may be damaged or incomplete".
Why do they install those folders if I chose not to install those apps?!

Yeah, I remember having a similar issue with CS4. CS5 seems to be so much worse, however.
For example, if I run the CS5 Master Collection installer and install ONLY Photoshop CS5 standalone without any additional components, it will also install Third Party Content for After Effects, Premiere Pro, Soundbooth, etc. leaving folders for those apps. Why is any of that necessary?
Anyways, I was just curious if anyone else has this issue or if it's an isolated issue.
