CS5 master could not install Photoshop or Indesign

Question

After first having had problems with the overall install (as in, nothing installed), finding an obscure suggestion that seemed to work (), I relaunched the install... seemed to be working, and I was getting real excited, only to have the following listed at the end as NOT installed: Photoshop, InDesign
Vista 64 bit OS
Here is the log from this go around (obviously various other packages' add-ins also failed to install) - not sure what to do

Did the reboot thing. stopped all services... ran setup as admin (again) and tried to install
Photoshop CS5 and InDesign, got the following errors:
