CS5 no longer shows up under all documents in vista??

As of today my photoshop desktop icon diappeared and when I open "all programs" under start Photoshop shows up like this instead of just photoshop:
However, in Programs & Features it shows as Adobe Photoshop.
Any help to fix this would be greatly appriciated!!

Did you look in the Program Files
32 bit version cs5
C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS5
64 bit version of cs5
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS5
to see if the Photoshop.exe is in there?
If it is, you can Right click on the Photoshop.exe and choose Send to>Desktop (create shortcut)

Why is Messages no longer showing up under my iCloud account in the "Internet Accounts" window? I recently deleted it and added it back, but then Messages went away. On my iPhone, it shows me logged in under my iCloud account and my cell phone number is synced with that iCloud account. Yet, on my Mac it isn't showing up.
I've already tried removing and adding the iCloud back several times.

The Messages app is supposed to grab the information from the "Internet Accounts." Messages has always included the ability to separately add Google, Yahoo, AOL, or other messages accounts; but, it has always grabbed the iCloud account information from the "Internet Accounts" section. Except for now, when the Messages option has disappeared from the iCloud account under "Internet Accounts."

IPod Touch no longer showing up under My Computer

My iPod Touch is no longer showing in the device list under My Computer and as such can't access it to get my photos off it.
It works in iTunes just fine, syncs fine, etc.
If I go to Devices and Printers, it used to be listed under the Devices category as iPod, but now shows under the Unspecified category as Apple Mobile Device USB Driver, so basically a generic device.
I have no devices with exclamation points or any other trouble signs under Device Manager.
Help?

Well, I am not entirely sure what exactly happened but after trying numerous times to reinstall the drivers and getting all sorts of error messages, I finally got Windows 7 to cooperate. The iPod Touch now shows up and is being detected as a digital camera under Devices, and under Computer it is showing up under Portable Devices. If I double-click on it I can view my pictures, transfer them, delete them, etc.

Previously Purchased Movie on iTunes No Longer Showing Up Under Purchased Items

I purchased a movie from iTunes in November 2012 (Coldplay: Live 2012) and it wasn't showing up on my AppleTV Purchased movies section (wanting to use the iTunes Extra feature on recent AppleTV 6.2 update). I've checked other threads and it was suggested to check my account for Hidden Purchases. The movie I purchased does not show up under Hidden Purchases.
I then checked Purchased items from the main iTunes page, and I don't even see the movie listed there, even though I have a record of the purchase through my Purchase History under My Account.
Any suggestions on how to get this to show up under my Purchased items on iTunes or AppleTV?

I am having similar problems buying movies. The rights issue occurs even if iTunes change or reduces the price of a movie. I now have to check my saved library of past purchases to confirm I do not already have the movie to avoid buying it again.The latest occurrence was fifth element.
It would be really useful if apple would allow you to download a full copy of your past purchases as it is no longer possible to rely on the iTunes store to match your own downloaded content library and the current licenses it holds. This also plays havoc with genius recommendations for purchases.
It would be nice if apple could buy Time/Warner or another media giant so we could break this monopoly of selling the same content over and over again by simply changing the format or metadata of a product.

Apple tv gen 1 no longer shows up under my device list.

Apple TV was working fine unitl a couple of weeks ago.
I have reset the Apple tv to factory settings. Uninstalled itunes and then reinstalled. Unpluged the power cord from the Apple TV. Reset my router. I can watch you tube and movie trailers so the router is working fine. The Apple tv does show up under preferences but not under devices.
Anyone have some other suggestions.

Have you installed all updated any security software lately, or for that matter any other software which may interfere with iTunes.

Shared computer only shows up under "All..." where no Login is possible

In our home network my wife's MacBook Air (2012, MacOS Lion) cannot see my Mac Pro. Actually it does, sort of, under "Shared" in the Finder, it sees it under "All..." where my MacPro (2008, Mtn Lion) then shows up, but she there is no way to log in like it would be possible if it showed up directly under "Shared".
How can my MacPro be forced to show up directly in the Shared column?
Our network is wired, restarting router and restarting machines does not help. Ping via terminal works.
Any ideas?

My iTouch 4 no longer shows up in iTunes as a device, nor does it sync, or create updates. Help?

Disconnecting everything and restarting your iPod and computer usually does the trick. Then reconnect everything. This steps should work.

Basically I am having 2 issues 1) CS5 no longer showing up on my account 2) Version is MAC but needing to install onto Windows soon as Mac is dying after 4 years

In 2010 I bought CS5 and feel like an idiot after spending a small fortune to get the software I always wanted I now find it unsupported, not listed on my account despite registering and such. My iMac is four years old and is dying as such will be replacing it with a new Windows PC soon, I am soon graduating from university, my wallet is essentially dry and feel cheated via the fact CS5.5 came out a while back and can't transfer my software from Mac to Windows without an additional cost which I can not afford. Basically as a games designer, ex-student and at a time where this is all critical I find out that CS5 is not supported and no longer on my account page. Very upset

De-cluttering tip: Is there a way to prevent a track from showing up under "Artist" while still being able to view the artist info when I play the song by Album?

It was suggested I re-post in this forum, seeing as the problem may be specific to the Touch.
So, I have lots of "compilation" albums that include songs by various artists (for example, Pitchfork's top 500 singles of the decade). I usually select my music by "Artist," and now my ipod is super cluttered, because now I have hundreds and hundreds of artists listed, many of which I only have one or two songs by from this compilation.
One solution: simply delete the artist information for these large compilations, and then the songs from the compilations will no longer show up under "Artists." Problem is, I would like to know who the artists are when I play the compilation (I simply don't want to have the artists listed under "Artists")
Another solution: I could manually delete the artist info, but paste that info on to the song name. For example, a track that once looked like:
Artist: Nirvana
Title: Smells Like Teen Spirit
Album: Best of the '90s
After my editing, would look like:
Artist: [blank]
Title: Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit
Album: Best of the '90s
This would solve my problem...but it would literally take hours to do for each and every individual song. Not practical.
Does any one have any other suggestions? It seems like there would be a way to just check a box for what info you want to be listed (ie, I could un-check "Artist," and then the song would no longer be listed by Artist, even though the Artist information would still be retained for reference). Does this option exist?
In the prior thread, someone suggested I mark it as a "compilation" in iTunes. But that did not prevent the individual artists from being listed under "Artists." Someone suggested that I may need to turn "Compilation" to "On" on my iPod. But that does not seem to be an option on the Touch.

Why not set the iPod to show Compilations?
In Settings select Main menu (or Music menu) and check Compilations. (You can do so for both if you desire.)
Now all of the Artists that only appear in compilation albums won't appear in Artists.
To get to the Artists that only appear in compilation albums open Compilations in your Main Menu or Music Menu (or either).

External hard drive no longer shows up connected

I have been using a Seagate Freeagent 500 GB external HD as a backup storage device for my Windows 7, 64 bit computer. After working well for several years it did not respond the last time I tried to back up and shows up as "disconnected" when
I search for the HD in device manager or control panel. It was assigned Drive I but that drive no longer shows up under drives. I have tried different USB ports without success. Oddly, the audible signal sounds when I remove the USB cable from
a port but does not sound when I reinsert it. I also tried powering down the hard drive and powering up again without success.

If other PCs can show this external hard drive, You can try the following steps to clear the write-protected flag to see what's going on:
Open a command with administrator privilege:
type--> diskpart
type--> list volume
type--> select volume #
type--> attributes disk clear readonly

Tabbed panels no longer showing up

Hi folks, for quite some time I have used the widge Spry Tabbed Panels 2.0 in this page: www.arrowmark.co.nz/clients and on this pagehttp://tatlerprime.co.nz/conference.html but the tabs no longer show up and all the content is laid out vertically down the page. With Altruistic Gramps' help I have customised my pages to enable quick links to tabs and named anchors and other helpful tweaks to help visitors navigate around the tabs and their contents.
Several things have happened since I built those pages: my Windows 7 profile became corrupted and I had to start a new profile which meant I lost access to app data. I also upgraded to DW cs6. And I also lost access to my widgets panel.
Any one of these issues could have caused the problem but it may also be that this widget no longer works in Cs6.
However, there is a further possibility: that I have inadvertently made a change in code which is preventing the tabs from appearing. Is anyone able to take a quick look and let me know which is the most likely before I start a rebuild from scratch?

[update: I have narrowed down the problem. The panels fall apart when I change the defaultTab value from 0 to "params.tab ? params.tab : 0", (which I am using as part of a script that enables me to send email links and set menu bar links to particular tabs and their contents. If anyone knows another way to achieve this aim without affecting tab behaviour, I'd be really grateful. As Altruistic Gramps kindly provided me with the code I have messaged him but am also asking here in case anyone is able to help me before he gets on line next]

Adobe announced a couple of weeks ago that it was no longer investing in the development of Spry (see
http://blogs.adobe.com/dreamweaver/2012/08/update-on-adobe-spry-framework-availability.htm l). As a consequence, the files are no longer available on Adobe Labs.
You need to download the Spry files from GitHub. Copy SpryURLUtils.js into your local site, and link to the local version rather than the one on Adobe Labs.

Performed a 'clear cache' on CE-560, now 'sh stat...' no longer shows stats

The CFS volume on our CE was full. I plan on adjusting the volume sizes in the near future, until then, I performed a 'clear cache' and a 'cfs clear' to free things up.
Now the CE admin webpage no longer shows stats under the Reporting link--performing a 'sh stat http usage' from the console results in the following error:
'stat/cache/http/usage/cpu/sum not found'
Do I need to restart the CE to start gathering stats again?

Actually, I performed a 'clear cache' first. After a day or two and not seeing any disk stats (wanted to see how much was freed up), I tried a 'cfs clear' as well. Anyhow, will try rebooting.

My wife just dragged All Documents to Trash.

Don't ask me why. But how can we reverse this?
Problem 1. I can find a "Put Back" option for each file, but this option disappears from the menu when selecting multiple files. Not sure why.
Problem 2. None of the folder hierarchy is maintained, I guess because that's not how files are listed under All Documents. So we'd have to recreate the folder structure from scratch and then drag files one by one from the Trash.
Any and all ideas most welcome. Thanks in advance.

Are you sure you didn't just delete the All Documents shortcut from the sidebar of the Finder? This one:
If so, that's just a shortcut to a Smart Folder (a search result). It's not an actual location and you haven't lost any files. You can recreate Smart Folders very easily from the Finder either using a search and saving as a Smart Folder, or using the File - New Smart Folder menu and running a search for the required file types.
