[CS5] Pixel rulers - how to change increments from 72?

When setting rulers to use Pixels as the unit, the ruler lines fall in increments of 72, or some multiple / factor thereof. This is great for working in points, but for the web, we're often more comfortable in units of 10 etc. Is there a way to ocver-ride the default behaviour?
Note: "changing zoom level" does not automatically fix this issue, as the base factor is still 72, not 10.

That just doesn't make any sense to me. Why would Adobe leave out a ruler with ... let's say .. this is One pixel this is Two & so on. ?? That way as we are creating we can split things in half much easier than 7.2 increments. I've been going NUTS trying to align things while trying to make a compass. The whole thing seems nuts to me.
Isn't Adobe aware that their users make web graphics?
Even though a Pixel is not a "Real" unit of measurement it does actually exist on the web & in regard to web graphics. right? Or am I wrong?
I understand that a pixel is rather arBITrary (<heehee) b/c it's device dependent. However being able to know rather I'm in the right city compared to the right continent makes a world of difference for me.
I guess I'll have to send in a request to Adobe. LOL sure they'll jump right on it.
Dang ... I am just so bummbed out to find out that there's no way to make the ruler land on even numbers rather than 36, 72 etc.
I mean ... 7.2 increments? Is there an emoticon for pulling hair out?
So, why don't those of us that would like to see a pixel ""ruler"" in Illustrator start a petition/thread & forward to our pals at Adobe HQ?
Just an idea. Squeaky wheel gets the grease ... right?

Right click on any of these files and do a Get Info. Notice that there is, in fact, a Disc number field. So you can make disc numbers 1/10, 2/10 and so on.
iTunes and the iPod are both smart enough to recognize that there are disc numbers there and act correctly. So it'll start with Disc 1, play all that disc, then go to Disc 2, and so forth. It's just a matter of having correct disc number tags.
You can tag disc numbers for a whole disc at once. Simply select all the songs in a single disc (hold SHIFT or CTRL while selecting the songs), right click, Get Info, and you get the mass tag editor screen. Add the disc number info for this disc, and it'll tag that info to all those songs. Repeat for each disc.

I think you have to sign into your Amazon Kindle Account, find the book in your archive and delete it there. Otherwise you can delete it from the device and leave it in the archive, should you want to look at it again.

Dear ,
1.Go to Transaction Code KS02 - change cost center and in the next screen go to Menu bar > Edit > Analysis Period.This will pop up another window - in this you can change the analyis period and save it.
2.Or Use the tcode OKEON from the hierrachy choose the cost center in the basic data tab u will see one button named Validity period.Change the validity there.
3.You can do it using 'KSH2' transaction.Open the hirarchy and select your cost center. now select the business area and new hirarchy node where you want to move it. and click on 'INSERT AT LOWER LEVEL' to move the cost center from one business area to another.

If you find that it is set to the correct region, log out of your iTunes Store account, restart your iPhone, and sign into your account again.
Note that you will need an account in the UK iTunes Store to use it.

How to change the "from email id" of all the notifications in the instance

I have a requirement to change the from email address of all the outbound notifications in an instance.
Presently our notifications are having from address as R12 Workflow Mailer ["[email protected]"]
We want to change this to ABC. So that all the outbound notifications will have
ABC as from email address.
How do we achieve this ? Is there any mailer level setting for this ?

Hi,
The 'From' value in the email notification is derived from 'From' parameter value, but the actual email address used for 'From' field is the 'Reply-to Address' parameter value that is specified for the mailer. If you want to specify a different email address you can change the 'Reply-to Address' parameter value.
You can also specify the From value based on the kind of notification you send, you can do it by defining the #WFM_FROM message attribute as specified below
• #WFM_FROM - Define this attribute for a message to specify the value that appears in the From field of the message header when the e-mail notification message is delivered to a user. If the #WFM_FROM message attribute is defined for a notification, the notification mailer that sends the message will use the #WFM_FROM attribute value in the From field for that message, overriding the mailer’s From parameter value

I am not sure about how to change SERVICE_NAME in PL/SQL Developer (if at all it can be done in that ), but you will have to change the SERVICE_NAME in the TNSNAMES.ORA file.
1. Locate the entry for PLSExtProc in the file tnsnames.ora at:
$ORACLE_HOME/network/admin/tnsnames.ora
2. Change the SERVICE_NAME = ORCL
3. Save and reconnect

HT1349 I changed my passcode lock and typed it in 2x to confirm it. Now that I type exactlly what I put in it keeps telling me to connect to ITunes. Now I dont know how to change it from there

New to blackberry. I would like to know how I can change the "From" field when you send an email from the phone to a name or email address I want it to say.
Here is my email situation:
My email address is ''[email protected]" (which i purchased) and anbody who sends an email to me gets forwarded to my yahoo email account. In yahoo I created an "alias" "[email protected]" so when I send an email, nobody sees my actual yahoo account which I want to keep private. How do I do this?

You couldn't find any solution because there is none given your current configuration.
You're receiving your email from your Yahoo account - not your peronal domain account. It's kind of a security issue for you not to be able to forge an email address on your BlackBerry. In fact, you can't change the FROM address when replying at all on a BlackBerry. You can forward using another email address that's set up on the device, but you can't manually enter a FROM address even when forwarding.
First thing to do is to set up your personal email account through your BIS setup.
Once you've done that, you can either stop forwarding your personal email to your Yahoo account, OR filter your personal email to NOT be forwarded to your device through your Yahoo BIS setup, OR have your personal email filtered on your Yahoo account and delivered to a folder other than the Inbox and it shouldn't be seen by your BIS setup.

Hi just downloaded uk iworks pages etc, how do you change imperial to metric in rulers?

From what I can fathom, The ruler and measurements is determined by what International settings are selected. Apple has "standardized" these settings from international agreements? I would like to see the Canadian settings altered to allow for Imperial measurements within the Canadian settings on the iPad. In order to get Imperial on the ruler, I have to select United States International, but then the Dictionary is set to US and all the Canadian spellings are wrong. I would prefer to be able to select the Canadian international with either Imperial or metric settings as both measurements are still standard in Canada.

In oracle 9i, remote_login_passwordfile is a init parameter and you will need to shutdown database to change this value from exclusive to none. Because this parameter class is STATIC.

In the Masthead JSP it self, we are adding jsp scriptlets and html Div Elements to display the time on the Masthead. Currently i am able to display the server time with normal Java API.
Now i am going to display 5 timezones in a Iview, that iview is going to add to user's HomePage(User Choice).

What do you mean change as 'primary' ?
You can log out of the account that is being used for the stores by tapping on it in Settings > iTunes & App Store and log in with a different account (any content downloaded by the currently logged in account will remain tied to that account), and for the cloud via Settings > iCloud > Sign Out
