CS5 Premier Pro won't install

I'm on a Mac running OS10.9.3. The hard drive died and I replaced it, now I'm trying to reinstall all my software. All the other CS5 apps installed fine. But not Premier Pro. Can anyone help?

I would follow the steps in the document: Errors "Exit Code: 6," "Exit Code: 7" | CS5, CS5.5
Please be aware CS5 was not designed for OS X 10.9 so it might give all kind of issues running this version on this version of the OS! The designed for os version is OS x 10.6!

CS5: I chose not to install Premier Pro but it installed anyway.

During the installation program I deselected Premier Pro and After Effects. After the installation was complete, both were in my Applications directory.
As a side note, Adobe really needs to contain all these applications into one parent folder. I'm tired of all these folders clogging up my Applications directory.

That is exactly what I do on all of my Adobe programs. Everything (save for Acrobat Reader, which installs where it wants to, with no input from the user) is in my C:\Adobe folder, with each program in a sub-folder below. Do not know it this ability has been stripped out, as I have both the CS2 Production Studio and Creative Suite Premium, but PS, AI, InDesign, AE, Acrobat Pro, Go-Live, PrPro, Encore, etc.

CS3 Premier Pro Won't Start due to Komplete 5 .dll Loading...

I'm running Komplete 5 by Native Instruments on a brand new Quad Core laptop that was built and tweaked by a pro audio company that specializes in configuring machines for musicians. The Win XP Professional system runs very well.
After installing Adobe CS3 Suite, I noticed that the only program that won't start properly now is Premier Pro. When try to start Premier Pro 3.0, the splash screen opens and I can see the Komplete 5 software programs (Kontakt 3, Massive, Pro 53...) trying to load their .dll files. After a few seconds, Premier Pro quits and gives me a Runtime Error.
I've searched around a little bit and can't even find the .dll's for Komplete 5 to try the suggested experiment of moving them away out of their folder and then to bring them back after (if) I get Premier Pro to start as I have indexing turned off on the drives (which I "think" is to keep the system speedy?) so searching manually has not been easy so far. I looked in the vst folder and they are not there, unless I am missing something.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You likely have an issue with one, or more, of the NI .dll's. There have been several issues with these. Do a search of this forum (go back to get all Premiere versions) for "Native Instruments." There are serveral threads on moving the .dll's, so that Premiere doesn't try to load them. Premiere will attempt to load every registered VST/.dll, as you have found. NI's do cause PP to hang.

MB Pro won't install os x mavericks after re-formatting

Hi guys,
Basically, my macbook pro dec 2011 won't install mavericks os after I have formatted my mb.
What happens: with DU I checked the HD and no issues found, I formatted the macbook by using DU and erasing the HD (took about 4 hours - 3 times erase/overwrite procedure which was the second most safe way of erasing under options)..
I move on to install mavericks OS which at first asks me to login to my apple id, after which it says it will take 3 hours.. after an hour or so it starts saying 150 hours or whatever ridiculous number and it goes down and afterwards my mb just restarts itself..
Is my internal hard drive messed up physically or ??

Be sure to follow these directions carefully:
Install Mavericks, Lion/Mountain Lion Using Internet Recovery
Be sure you backup your files to an external drive or second internal drive because the following procedure will remove everything from the hard drive.
Boot to the Internet Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND-OPTION- R keys until a globe appears on the screen. Wait patiently - 15-20 minutes - until the Recovery main menu appears.
Partition and Format the hard drive:
Select Disk Utility from the main menu and click on the Continue button.
After DU loads select your newly installed hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one. Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID then click on the OK button. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Partition button and wait until the process has completed. Quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion. Mavericks: Select Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion, Mavericks and click on the Install button. Be sure to select the correct drive to use if you have more than one.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.
This should restore the version of OS X originally pre-installed on the computer.
Now, you can upgrade if you need to.

Mac book pro won't install or uninstall programs

I have a mac book pro, running OSX 10.7.5. When I try to instill Java, or any program for that matter, it takes me to the download screen, asks me for my password and then does nothing. Will not install. I tried to uninstall a program as well and the same thing happens. Won't install or uninstall. Any ideas?

Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a test, not a solution. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
Step 1
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is localized to your user account.
Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. Don't use the Safari-only “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac.”
While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your personal files or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.
Test while logged in as Guest. Same problem?
After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.
*Note: If you’ve activated “Find My Mac” or FileVault, then you can’t enable the Guest account. The “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac” is not the same. Create a new account in which to test, and delete it, including its home folder, after testing.
Step 2
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you boot, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, reboot as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of steps 1 and 2.

Premier Pro won't show up on PC desktop manager

I have a creative cloud membership and use it on my desktop PC and on my Mac laptop. I have already installed Premier Pro on the Mac, but when I went to install it on my PC today premier pro will not show up in my creative cloud desktop manager on my PC. When I try to download PP from the Adobe site, it brings up my PC desktop manager and nothing happens. But PP still shows up on my Mac's desktop manager and is still installed and working on the Mac. Am I missing something?

Premiere Pro is 64 bit only. So are other video apps such as After Effects.

Your Mac is probably a 64 bit system. I suspect your PC is 32 bit.

If your hardware/operating system does not meet the system requirements for the software then the software will not be available for download on that computer.

2011s MacBook Pro won't install Yosemite neither reboot or boot into recovery mode.

Hello everyone, I've searched all around the web and didn't find a solution.
Sorry about my english, btw, I'm from Brasil lol!
I have a 2011s MacBook Pro, used to run Snow Leopard until 2 days ago, when I downloaded Yosemite and restarted the computer to run the installation.
During the process, it stopped at 22%, and said: FILE SYSTEM VERIFY OR REPAIR FAILED.
I tried to reboot on Macintosh HD as usual, but it's not possible, I can't unmount the HD to repair it, can't erase it and I'm a little desperate.
I have a good backup of important files on an external drive, so the best solution for me would be to format the HD again, with the Yosemite image which appears to be running at startup.
Command+ anything at startup doesn't work, probably because the Yosemite install is trying to run...
Any suggestions???

(I'm adding to your post to hopefully grab more attention and then maybe grab a solution from someone out there..)
I thought yea, no, maybe, okay it's free, they say it is amazing-- why not?!?
So I downloaded and clicked okay to restart and install the new OS.......but it won't install the OS and I get stuck here on this screen.
I have tried restarting about 10 ties. I have tried quitting the install but it won't allow me to boot from Mac HD or my time capsule HD. I tried going into the menu options above but it won't let me repair or reboot or anything to get my MacBook to work again.
It is pretty frustrating. I went from having a working MacBook Pro to having a nightlight.
Vince- if you get a solution or a fix, Please let me know.

My Premier won't open because it says I need to update my video display drivers. Windows update says my video drivers are all up to date and working properly. Help.

Logic pro won't install on macbook pro

I have Logic Studio 9.1.5 working on my iMac i7 under OS X 6.8. It is an upgrade of an upgrade, etc going back to V 5.5. I have the original Emagic key from Logic 5.5. My recollection is that I had to use this to install the Logic Studio upgrade to get Logic Pro 8, but that when I upgraded to V9, the key was not necessary.
I'll be visiting some remote sites for recording later this fall, and decided to move Logic to my MacBook Pro for the trip. It came with Lion. I installed the minimal setup from the Logic Studio package to get Logic Pro 9 on the MBP. It asked me for the serial number and to insert the EMagic key at the start of the install process. Once installed, it would not launch under Lion so I installed the 9.1.5 update. When I tried to launch after this update, Logic started up, but I was asked for the serial number and Emagic key again. This time, it reported that my key is not elegible for this upgrade. Makes no sense, given I had this running with no probllem on the iMac.
Have there been any other steps required to install under Lion? Is there anything else anyone can suggest to look into?

Samuel, this won't help you, but it may help some others.
I had CS2 installed on my good old TiBook 400MHz, and it worked fine there. When I got my new MBP C2D 2.33 yesterday, I followed the instructions for connecting via FireWire, and after 2 hours, everything copied over just fine. So far, everything works fine too, which is really amazing to me, including the Adobe CS2 applications.
I did make sure that my old TiBook was up-to-date, and ran Mac Janitor on it, and fixed permissions. That may have made the difference.
The only things which don't run now are the old OS9 applications, and Final Cut Express 3.0 (but there is a work-around using the esc key).
Hope this is encouraging to someone who is thinking about gettig a MBP C2D.

EFI 2.7 on Macbook Pro won't install

Since yesterday I get a notification about EFI v2.7 firmware on my Macbook Pro (late 2011)
So it downloads the package, then it asks me to reboot, but when I press reboot I get a notification saying "availabe updates have changed". It then just stays like that, and I can keep on downloading and applying the update as much as I want, it won't actually install it. I restarted manually to see if it does anything while it boots up again, but no go.... See the attached screenshot

I had the same problem a few minutes ago. Turns out you can download the appropriate update here: https://support.apple.com/en-en/HT201518 and install it manually. For some reason it didn't work though the App Store app.
When you relaunch the App Store app it will refresh and the update won't appear anymore. If you installed it multiples times it will still show in the install history though.

AAMEE (CS5.5) Exceptions won't install...

I've used AAMEE to create deployable builds of CS5.5 Design Premium, Web Premium and Master Collection. They install fine, via DeployStudio, but I'm having major issues with the "exceptions" installs. Not a single one of the exceptions will install — the following is an example of the console log for the failed installation (in this example, trying to install the Dreamweaver Widgets Browser). Can anyone help? Trying to install on OS X 10.8.2.

I'm using the latest version of AAMEE v3.0.166.0 and I created a new Package for the Adobe Design and Web Premium CS6. My intention is to deploy it through SCCM 2012 with a native Script Installer due to the Exceptions that needs to be installed out of the main MSI. So, my Main MSI is installing perfectly, the exceptions like: Adobe Pro, AdobeHelp, AdobePDF Settings11 are installing fine except for the Dreamweaver Widget Browser 1.0.
Here you are my procedure may be you can let me know how can I modify the command to include it on my installer sequence in order to complete the full installation.
Local Install command provided by Adobe on the Exceptions file.
AdobeAIRInstaller.exe -silent -eulaAccepted -programMenu WidgetBrowser.air
I modified to this with an Absolute path but is just giving me errors
C:\Temp\Widget\AdobeAIRInstaller.exe -silent -eulaAccepted -programMenu WidgetBrowser.air
With my main Installer sequence to have the remaining CS6 suite exceptions installed the Dreamweaver Widget is the only one giving me errors like : failed (consult log)
From SCCM 2012 running the command like: start /wait "%~dp0\Exceptions\DWWidgetsBrowser1.0\AdobeAIRInstaller.exe" -silent -eulaAccepted -programMenu WidgetBrowser.air   it gave me the same error.
** Notice ** If I browse inside the source files folder with command line and execute the same command it runs the installation perfectly but not if I'm doing it outside the folder with the previous command that states>> ( %~dp0\Exceptions\DWWidgetsBrowser1.0 ) and also that I tried on a brand new Virtual Machine with Adobe AIR 3.7 already installed.

Quicktime pro won't install

Upon downloading and installing, my 10.5.8 system restarts, then there is no evidence of Quicktime Pro on my machine.
Multiple tries, same result.
Downloading again doesn't help.
Why won't this puppy install?

There is no such thing as a QuickTime pro download.
QuickTime Player is already installed on your machine. You enable to Pro features by entering the registation info you got in the email confirmation.

Acrobat 9 Pro--won't install

I puchased the CS4 CD last spring. Acrobat wouldn't load then and I didn't have time to fool with it. Have contacted Adobe several times with no resolution. This week I spent TWO HOURS online with India tech support. Still no go. I've ASKED for them to just let me download new software. No go. At the end of two hour online session, I was told an Adobe tech supervisor would contact me soon. That was days ago.
Any suggestions of how to actually get some satisfaction from Adobe??????

Try running the CS5 Cleanscript. Then download and install Applejack or Onyx. Use them to fix permissions and to clear all system and user caches. Then try to re-install.

Acrobat x pro won;t install...keeps crashing with same error message

I have tried numerous times to install Acrobat x pro from my creative cloud subscription. It does not install properly each time sending me this error message:

A little more info that might help 1) My first install worked fine for several weeks. I unstalledd it and applied adobe cleaner to assure it was fully uninstalled to fix an unrelated issue, then was never able to reinstall it after
