CS5 setup problem

I have a problem even with just opening the setup file. When i try it says this:
The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running. Check your computer's system to see whether you need an x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of the program, and then contact the software publisher.
I have Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit, AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3800+ 2.40 GHz and 1GB RAM. So where can be a problem? My computer is not much powerful, but i don't think this is the problem.

Do you mean only 1GB of system RAM? No, sorry, your system does not meet the minimum requirements:

Even if you could get it to load, it is hard to imagine editing would work very smoothly. I'm even surprised that Win 7 will run on that little RAM, actually. If you're investing in CS5, probably also time to invest in a fast new system with lots of RAM (8+ GB).

OK, what you should do is download the updates on another machine and burn them to a disc. Start at this link http://support.apple.com/downloads/#leopard for downloads and find, among other things, the 10.5.8 combo updater that works on PPC machines, plus security, QuickTime and other updates. Going from 10.5.1 to 10.5.8, there will probably be a bunch of things that you should install. Being off the internet with the machine, you can't have Software Update sort it out, so something might get missed, unfortunately.
My suggestion is this: if it looks like you might need a download, get it onto that disc.

Usually the only reason it will ask you to reboot is if there is a file that must be modified that the updater doesn't currently have access to. You should try running the Firefox program once as Administrator:
* Right-click the icon and choose ''Run as Administrator''
If that doesn't help then do a clean reinstall.
# Download a fresh copy of Firefox from the [http://www.mozilla.org/firefox/fx/ Mozilla download page] and save the file to the desktop.
# [[Uninstalling Firefox|Uninstall]] your current version of Firefox and remove the Firefox program folder before running the new installer.
# Run installer
Remember that you don't want to remove personal data when uninstalling. That way you'll still have your personal information.

Simple VISA Setup Problem

Hi all,
I'm having issues working with VISA in LabVIEW. Previously, I've used Peek/Poke VIs (before they were VISA VIs) that allowed me to read and write directly to registers at a given Windows address. I have a new, custom PCI Express board that uses the same architecture that I've worked with previously only this time I'm trying to access the registers using VISA.
As this is my first time using VISA, I'm having some setup problems. Yesterday I got to a state where logically things should work but I still end up getting an error when I try to run a simple VISA Open command (see attached screenshot).
The initial problem I had was I was not able to acquire a VISA resource that opens a session to my PCIe board...it would simply not show up on the resource list. After reading around I discovered I needed to create a custom VISA driver for my board. Once I did that using the VISA Driver Wizard, the device showed up in my list (as seen in the screenshot). I wrote the simplest of all VIs where I simply open that VISA resource, however, the error seen in the screenshot is produced.
I'm pretty sure this is a simple setup issue, but does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

I see you're having some issues using VISA. It sounds like you're new to VISA, so I wanted to pass along some information that we have availble on this software. This link gives good general information about VISA, and the related links are extremely helpful in finding specific issues.

Help ma boab did you migrate over your applications and settings from your old computer? It does appear the installer was unable to create the Adobe Photoshop CS5 folder since your current User account did not have sufficient access to either modify they Applications or Adobe Photoshop CS5 folder if it already exists.
If you migrated/copied any files or applications from your old computer then I would recommend running the uninstaller from the Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers folder. Once you have uninstalled please run the CC Cleaner Tool prior to reinstalling Photoshop CS5. CS5 stroke problems

Hi guys.
Yeah, i know, actually there's a discussion here about cs5 stroke problems.
But my problem is a little bit different (sorry if i'm wrong).
If i just draw an open path i can use any stroke weight i want to, but if i join the path with another open path or close the path that i'm working, it automatically changes the stroke to 1pt and i can't change its weight.
Well, i could be wrong, but any adobe program uses XML in order to create anything and any file, right? So, is there any way to change this information edditing this XML?
Maybe this can help us to change some settings that we cannot change after we create a new document (like "align new objects to pixel grid").

That's not the normal behaviour. Elaborate what you're doing in detail.

I prepared a project and i can published it without any error.Action folder includes actionscript files.But when i decompile the swf file there isn't action folder and actionscript files are missing.Please help me it's too important for me.

PP CS5 Capture problems..

I recently got my new Macbook and Adobe Production premium hoping to finally edit some of the work that was waiting for this gear but have run into a little problem that scares me a bit.
Equipment list:
Sony PD170 (SD Mini DV Tape)
13.3'' Macbook Pro 2.4Ghz
Premiere Pro CS5
I tried capturing the footage off a tape of about 50 min and at around 28 min it stopped an gave me the option to save the clip as you'd expect it to do once its done capturing. I tried again and again and now it does it within the first 10 min of the capture at random points.
Things I have tried:
Switched off ALL screen savers and energy saving options like turning off hard disks etc.
Unchecked "Abort on dropped frame" checkbox
Fiddled with In and out points
Checked all settings, capturing in right formats etc. Even set up device control to recognise my camera..
I read somewhere that it suggests that you need at least a 7200RPM Hard drive to capture and it seems like my Macbook only has 5400RPM drive. But surely a brand new Macbook Pro can capture form Mini DV tape??? I have successfully captured the entire tape in iMovie before my Adobe software arrived so why the problem now?
I am really stressing about the RPM thing as I cannot believe that I can pay that amount of money for something that cant capture tape!
Any help would really be appreciated!

CS4: Setup problems

Hello everybody. I have the following problem:
I've downloaded CS4 trial from adobe.com, but when I run setup.exe, nothing happens. Setup.exe is running in task manager, but...nothing. The same installation package works on my friend's PC. I have all required hardware, running XP SP3. Help me please & thanks in advance

Remote Delta link setup problem with Bean / Access Service

Hello,
I am trying to setup Remote Delta Link (RDL) between two portals. (Both portals same version - EP 7.0 EHP1 SP 05 - are in the same domain)
I already have the Remote Role Assignment working without any issues.
The following have been done successfully:
1. Same user repository has been setup for both the portals
2. Setup trust between producer and consumer (SSO working fine)
3. Producer added and registered succesfully on consumer
4. Permissions setup on producer and consumer
4. pcd_service user with required UME actions setup
I am able to see all the remote content in the Consumer portal.
When I try to copy the remote content and paste it as local content, I am getting the following error:

After increasing the log severity, I am able to see the following in Default Trace:

Like you can see above, there is some bean / access service which is not retrieved successfully. I am not sure if this is a permission problem on the consumer.
I have checked that the P4 ports are configured correctly (standard - not changed) and I am able to telnet from producer to consumer (and vice versa) on the P4 port.
I am stuck at this point and am not able to find any information on this.
I would really appreciate if some one can point me in the right direction.

Hi Raj,
Please check your config of the P4 port on the producer. Is it really 50004 (check SystemInfo of the producer)?
I do think there's a problem with the P4 communication since RDL requires P4 connection.

I have photoshop CS5 Extended problem comes when I try to install it as I cannot seem to find an unzip program that will do it

I have photoshop CS5 Extended but my motherboard flashed over so I have now purchased a new computer and of course wish to download another copy, I have my Serial No from my account and I have downloaded a new copy of the program, the problem comes when I try to install it as I cannot seem to find an unzip program that will do it as they are asking for file names etc which of course I don't have until I unpack it !! can anybody please advise what program will unzip this automatically bearing in mind there are two files with the download. Or is there a way that I can download without having to unzip?

VPN setup problem

I have installed Snow Leopard Server on a new XServe. I have updated to 10.6.2.
Other services are working Related to VPN I have configured the VPN Service using L2TP.
I have no additional network routing defined.
Every time I try to setup a connection (from my macbook pro --> running snow leopard 10.6.2) I get the following log messages:
