CS5: Using transform on part of layer to expand not working as before

Hi folks,
Ive been using PS since 2.5.1 and up until I think CS3 I could go into a layer with say a block of white, marquee out a section in the middle, transform and then stretch it out to make it bigger - but sine CS3 (and in 5 Im using now) it leaves an almost halo behind in the layer.
Easier to show in pictures:
(Enlargement to show what has happened).
Any ideas on this one folks ?

You'll see edge effects if you have the Marquee tool's Feather set to anything other than 0 and a background color of other than white (in this case). Make sure your Feather setting is 0.
With Feather set to 0, it doesn't do that for me, assuming I followed your process properly. After I make the rectangular selection, I just hit Ctrl-T, then drag the left edge of the data to the left, correct?
If the Feather setting isn't the issue with your system, what happens if you change the OpenGL drawing setting in Edit - Preferences - Performance and try the same thing again?

Account Transformation Business Rules: Apply to YTD is not working

Hello Friends,
I am using Account Transformation Rules for Re-classification of Accounts in MS version of BPC. And i am trying to use Apply to YTD. But it is not working and i am getting the same periodic values in YTD column also. For example if i am running a report for Dec 2009, i am getting the only Dec 2009 values under YTD also.
I appreciate any ideas on resolving the issue.

I observed the following:
1. If I check the Apply to YTD in Account Transformation rules, it is always showing YTD only irrespective of what i choose in in Measures in CV.
2. If i do not check the Apply to YTD in Account Transformation rules, it is showing only monthly values irrespectinve of what i choose in Measures in CV.
YTD is working fine in the same Appset for other dimension members eg not used in the Account Transformation Rules.(for other reports).

As newer iPhones and iOS versions are made, apps start to drop support for the older versions of the iOS. It looks like you have fallen victim to this. I commend you for sticking with the original iPhone until now, but it looks like it's time for an upgrade if you want to use apps that have dropped support.

Careless? Possible, but unlikely. Most likely the phone was stolen from the first owner. It would be a VERY careless iPhone owner who did not erase their personal information from a phone before selling it, and to do that it is necessary to disable Activation Lock. This solution might ''appear'' to be long and complicated, but after you follow the directions once, you'll find it's quick, clean, and simple. Almost like they designed it this way.

You can not merge accounts.
Apps are tied to the Apple ID used to download them, you can not transfer them.

Web Part with Flash Content is not working in IE only

I have created on Visual WebPart its contain a flash embed object i am trying load this flash component inside the Iframe.
unfortunatly its not working in IE 11 version but its working fine with other browser like Mozila and Chorme.
I referred the other links like but its not helped me to solve this issue. i have tried without iframe alos its not working if its a standalone web page out side the shrepoint working fine.

Hi,
As the custom web part works well in other browsers, the issue may be related to the IE itself.
Have you tried the methods below?
Use compatibility mode to check whether it works.
Open IE->Tools->Compatibility View Settings
Add the site into Trusted sites to check whether it works.
Open the IE->Internet Options->Security->Trusted Sites->add the site into the zone
What’s more, you can also switch the Document mode to IE 10 or lower to check whether it works.

Layer Opacity shortcuts not working on mac OSX 10.9.5

Hello,
I work on a macbook pro retina (OSX 10.9.5.) with photoshop CC and the shortcuts to change the layers' opacity don't work. When I press a number (with a tool other than the brush tool), I know it should change the layer's opacity depending on the number pressed.. but it does nothing. Which is strange because when I use this shortcut technique with the brush tool, it works just fine. Does anyone has the same issue ?
Is there a solution to fix it ?

I tried with the num lock and also with the shift key, but nothing happened . I already use the numbers at the top of the keyboard (the MBP retina doesn't have a number pad : first I thought that this was the reason it doesn't work, but then I saw that it worked just fine with the tool brush..) I'm really confused by this.

I am trying to use the firefox tools “web console” to try and solve the problem and notify the developer.

First, I edited github to githubusercontent in the script address. This is based on a redirect from GitHub.

Okay, now I get a red bordered white box that says Loading. Nothing loads.

Working around this will require embedding the script in a different way.

Help with After Effects? Null Layer and Text not working?

In after effects cs5.5 on mac, im motion tracking as normal, and the track works fine, then when i add the null layer and edit the tracking target to the null layer, the screen goes black, and all i can see is the null layer as a red box moving along the motion track path (i cant see the path) also, whenever i try to add text, (which im trying to motion track via attatching to the null layer) the text is invisible, when the screens black, all i can see is the wire frame of the text next to the square null layer, im pretty new to after effects, but im following tutorials as i should, and its just not working as it shows in all the videos ive tried, please help!

Check whether you have wireframe mode enabled/ Live Update disabled. Sounds like one of those cases. Other than that this could be OpenGL issues, so turn it off in the prefs. Also check your comp size vs. the size of the footage you are tracking. Tracking works relative to the layer, so if the comp is too small, the values would be so large they end up being outside the comp.
