CS6: Adobe Application Manager - Error A12E1

Hello,
I am getting Error Code: A12E1 when trying to run Adobe Application Manager.
System: Windows 7 64-bit
Software: CS6 Production Premium CS6
I have tried the following:
Restarted
Started the program with "Run-As Administrator"
Downloaded and re-installed Adobe Application Manager
Renamed the C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE folder, and tried all methods above.

Previous to this, CS6 was uninstalled, cleaner tool ran, and re-installed.

Adobe Application Manager Error A12E1

Whilst waiting for my Cloud Membership, I thought I would try downloading the Application Manager, however I get an error code of A12E1 and get told to come to the forums for help. I have searched and cant find out what this error code means.
I have tried to download for a second time, but still get the same problem.

Also getting this error. Windows 7-64 bit. Nether 'AAM Update Notifier' or 'AAM Registration Notifier' are running here is the %temp%/PDApp.log:

Unable to uninstall cs6 beta version due to Adobe Application Manager error

A few weeks ago I installed the beta version of cs6 but never was able to run that program due to the Adobe Application Manager error I received each time I attempted to launch it. I never found any solutions on the internet so I just gave up. Recently I purchased Photoshop cs6 anyway, however, in order to install cs6 you must uninstall the beta version of cs6. Unfortunately Windows 7 will not uninstall the beta version. Each time I click on uninstall, nothing happens. Until I can uninstall the beta version, I will not be able to install my newly purchased Photoshop cs6. Does anyone have any suggestions or solutions?

I have bought Creative Cloud. However, I cannot install the software on my laptop. My system is Windows 7 x64 Professional PL.
First, the downloader of Application Manager responded with "Server does not respond in the proper manner" message. Here is my LBS.log extract:

I tried again a few days later with no luck. I tried from 2 diffrent locations. Then I downloaded the application manager manually from the link: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4773

I tried to open the link visible in the log with Firefox - I get 403 Forbidden. The server ccmdls.adobe.com resolves to 23.67.131.235 on my computer.
I'm out of ideas, I cant find any suggestions with search engines on this stage. I paid for the software and I can't install it - please help.

Are you on a managed network? If so then your first step would be to contact your I.T. department to ensure the PDApp.exe is being given access to the Internet.

W7 x64 CS6 Adobe Application Manager lost Applications

On my systems (desktop + laptop) I have installed the CS6 Suites. Well known, that there are no functionality updates for CS6 no longer, but I would like to get the updates for Camera Raw …… The situation is, on the laptop the Adobe Application Manager works fine, but on the desktop I have an empty list of application and therefore no updates. How can I manage this?

I came across your post but I'm using a Mac. I had the same errors but decided to try out PS CS6 and found it was already updated. I rebooted and the errors disappeared. (My Adobe Update Manager works with both CC and CS6.) If you've already tried verifying update and rebooting, perhaps this thread (link) will help?

CS6 Adobe Application Manager Conflict

I tried to update Photoshop CS6, but it says I am running Adobe Application Manager and have to close it before I can get the updates. I don't see the application manager running anywhere. Where do I find it so I can shut it down?

I'm using Win 7, 64 bit. I finally just went to the task bar at the bottom and "Quit" the Adobe Application Manager". I could then download the update and install it. But this is ridiculous. It sounds counter-intuitive. The application manager would seem to have to be running in order to "manage" updates and downloads.

Trying to launch the AAM and getting the error message that says "Adobe Genuine Software Validation Failure. The product you are trying to install is not an Adobe Genuine Software and appears to be counterfeit".
I've been subscribed to the creative cloud for four months, never had any trouble before, I'm not trying to download anything and nothing on this computer is counterfeit.

This behavior is due to a known issue (details at http://blogs.adobe.com/psirt/2012/09/security-advisory-adobe-to-revoke-code-signing-certif icate-apsa12-01-2.html). Fortunately, the solution is simple.
You need to download the latest version of Adobe Application Manager from http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4773. After you install it, the error will go away.

I get an Adobe Application Manager error when I try to install NeoVoices.

When I try to install NeoVoices, I get an error that my Adobe Application Manger is possibly damaged, updates are not possible, and that I should download and install a new version of if (Adobe Application Manger.) I'm trying to install CS6 via the application manager. It downloads a file and then hangs at waiting to install. I've tried everything I can think of disabling virus scanner. I have CS5 installed could that be conflicting with the new software? Any ideas or help would be appreciated!!!

Run the Creative Suite Cleaner Tool and try again. Clean out all apps and reinstall them when needed. You could be seeing a conflict with some shared components or an update having introduced some incompatible data.

I would suggest uninstalling AAM completely, cleaning up and then temporarily turning off anti-virus/internet security before downloading again.

Adobe Application Manager Errors

Not able to download DW or FL since I got the Cloud. Called in and they said it was down for repair and today, I installed DW and an error stating Entry Point not found and again no icon on the desk top. There are some files that are missing needed files "The procedure entry point.... could not be located in the dynamic link library dvaui.dll."
I am a Software Dev. student and I need these programs for my current classes. Please help.

We cannot know. You are not providing any system info or exact errors or description of what you are doing. Failed entry point operations point to systemic issues, IOW your system does not meet the specs or is missing a critical DLL.
