CS6 - Annoying Trial Screen keeps appearing..

I have installed CS6 on a new Dell XPS 8500 running Win 7. The product went through the activation process and everything seemed fine but almost everytime I boot from cold, restart or wake the computer from sleep there appears a small screen asking me to either Licence The Software or Continue Trial. It is not a trial.. so I enter my serial number to continue.
I have done this countless times now and I'm really getting quite sick of it! I have tried getting help from the Adobe on-line 'Chat' and have tried all the fixes offered but so far nothing has worked. 
I would really appreciate some help in getting rid of this very annoying Trial screen.

Thank you PECourtejoie for your help. I've come back here to give a quick update on my situation.
After spending a fair amount of time yesterday talking with both Adobe and Dell it has been confirmed that the hard drive on my new PC is corrupt and will need to be reformatted. A new installation disk should arrive sometime today and Dell will be assisting me with the new install. It was indeed a Permissions problem. Although I appeared as Administrator on the system I most definitely was not. All a bit of a pain, but hopefully on the clean disk I will never see that Trial screen again!

  • IPhone 3GS Lock screen keeps appearing

    When I lock my screen, after about 10-15 seconds, the lock screen pops up (shows my lock screensaver/slide to unlcok and Time/Date) and then after 20-25 seconds it goes back to auto-lock (screen fades to black). This repeats over and over until the battery is drained (usually within a few hours). Tried to do a full restore and it did not solve the problem.

    If your 3GS is still under Warranty Coverage, Apple will fix this under warranty.
    You have an interesting story, because sometimes the digitizer responded? Maybe it was luck, and when you swiped finger to Unlock, you hit the few functioning places in the "slide to unlock" box. But the problems you are describing are digitizer problems. If you have found a way to "I reset the settings manually from the phone from a suggestion." to get it to work occasionally, then you may have a problem beyond just the digitizer.
    The first step would be Warranty Fix with Apple. If no longer Warranty Coverage, the next step in trouble-shooting would be to replace the Front Glass Screen because it normally has the digitizer built with it.

    Hi I really need help,
    I was updating an application on my iPod when suddenly it shut down because the battery was too low.
    Then I tried to turn it on again but these apple screen and spinning wheel screen keep appearing until now.
    I've tried pressing and holding the home & sleep/wake button at the same time several times, and mostly it didn't work.

    First, charge the battery thouroughly.
    Then, if you're still having a problem, try a system reset.  It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
    Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo.  Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears.  You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
    If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore.  Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset.  It could take well over an hour!  Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync.  From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab.  Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup.  You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod.  Again, say "yes."
    At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod.  As before, say "yes."  Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time.  If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device.  Corrective action is simple -  choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
    If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here.

    I am a new to macs and I am having the same problem. After downloading gogle chrome then installed I decided I did not want to use it. My mistake I decided to uninstall but simply dragged tha app from the finder widow to the trash. After that launch pad started to do the same as above.

    I tried the Trial version Photoshop CS6, finally I decided to purchase the up-grade version of PS  CS6 to convert my PS CS5 become PS CS6. Each time when I turn on my PS CS6, I can see the light and strong blue colour bubbles appear on PS CS6 start-up screen. I thought this is only happened on trial version. Why this is also happened on my registered version PS CS6? Also the Adobe Bridge CS6 generated from PS CS6, I can't see the image distance from "Subject Distance"? Please help.

    The volume logo keeps appearing on the screen of my new iPad Air. Please advise.

    If you use your iPad in landscape mode (sideways) the volume up and down buttons might be hitting you lap and being activation end that way. Or a case may be putting pressure on the buttons. Or the buttons might be bad.
    First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.
    If the problem persist and the above comments don't help Make an appointment at an Apple Store to have your device examined by a technician. Or contact Apple Support.

    works ok on mine - (5, 7.1.1).  Try again.  with previews set to none, mine shows the sender and the subject line only.  (you cannot get rid of the subject)    with the other settings, you get the sender, subject line and however many lines you selected.

    It depends, but it could either be the Grid or Pixel Grid under View>Show.

    I bought the $19.99 pe rmonth installation of CS6.  When I start the app I get the trial screen asking if I want to continue my trial of CS6.  Is this normal and will I have to hit continue for the next 20+ days until it expires then will my subscription continue without problem?  Thanks in advance!

    In the trial screen, you'll have a button that says: License this Software. Click that button and follow the on-screen instructions. I think that you'll be asked to Sign in with your adobe ID and password. Once you've signed in, the software will be associated with yout subscription.
    Could you try it, and let us know how it goes.
