CS6 Applications closing directly after start

I'm using Adobe Creative Suite CS6 Standard since a couple of months.
At this weekend I get a CC Testversion from a College and installed it. Since this time every CS6 Application is closing directly after starting.
I guess smth. is wrong with the CC Version, this one works fine in my PC.
Also after reinstallation of CS6 the problem couldn't be fixed.

LifeCyle 8 - shutdown direct after starting

Hello,
following problem:
Acrobat 8 runs fine - Lifecyle closed directly after start up.
i only see a second after starting the loading/startup screen of LifeCycle. this problem appears direct after installation of the full version.
The Trialversion I have used a few weeks before runs without any problem.
Also the same problem appears at on another PC at work (Trialversion runs without any problem - Fullversion have the same problem)
I have tried the "adobe cleanup tool" - no success
Any Idea?

A new thing i can reproduce this with both psu with only the 24 pins in I'm able to power on the mobo and I'm able to get the code 'FF' if my research are correct it mean that there not atx cable plug into the 8 pins so then my theory is that the 8 pins initialisation is before the cpu so the mobo does boot but without the cpu at that moment but when it in then because the cpu is dead in the millisecond of the boot process the system shut down without giving a code because for some reason it cant. So i like to know from someone of MSI if that could be it does it mean the cpu is dead?

Why does Photoshop CC 64bit crash direct after start?

I have Photoshop CC and Lightroom CC installed. Photoshop 64bit crash direct after start without any msg. Photshop 32bit version and Lightroom 64bit works fine. How can I get PS 64bit version working?

Applications closing immediately after opening Text messages not delivered

It there any way to restore the phones applications when they start to malfunction, instead of doing a complete system restore. As the application are closing immediately after opening. I've tried deleting and restoring them.
Also text message seem to get lost when doing a system restore. They don't just arrive when its finished. They never get delivered. Caused a few big problems for me but I'll only do it at night now. Has anyone had the same problem.?? Thanks.

IMac Retina fans are loud direct after starting – is that normal?

My machine:
iMac Retina 5k i7
32 GB RAM
Yosemite 10.10.1
AMD Radeon M295X
FusionDrive
External monitor DELL 3214Q running at 3008 x 1692 Resolution (60Hz)
Monitor is official supported running on Display Port 1.2
After starting up my iMac and without doing anything the fan(s) raising speed after just about 10 seconds ...
I´m wondering if this is normal ???

FIrefox 4 beta does not work anymore. Directly after start-up (my homepage is showing) is firefox hanging, showing an hour glass. No button, URL or whatever can be used, except for the close button. But even after closing firefox, it keeps on running.

Even after closing down the application, the firefox task remains running in the background and must be killed with Windows Task Control.
Even deinstalling and installing the latest beta version does not solve it. Unfortunately I have to use Google Chrome Now.

Ok. I disabled hardware acceleration. The only extension is the McAfee Scriptscan for Firefox 15.1.0, which was already disabled. I then disabled all plugins (Acrobat, Google Update, Intel Identity Protection (2x), Java Deployment Toolkit, Java Platform, MS Office 2013, Quicktime, Shockwave, Silverlight), which were all up to date.
Normal or safe mode still has same result. No startup, no option button and no customize.

Applications Closing Immediately After Launching

I signed up for the yearly subscription of Adobe CC Complete and installed Adobe Premiere, Photoshop and AE. No matter which program I open, after creating a new project or opening an old one the application closes immediately. Applications that do not require creating a new file just close after opening.
Things i've tried:
Logging out and back in of the creative cloud installer.
Using Adobe CC cleaner.
Disabling the firewall and virus protection.
Reinstalling multiple times.
Any assistance is much appreciated.

Adobe CS6 Applications not opening after installation via AAMEE

I setup AAMEE with the desired CS6 apps, disabled updates, installed the AAMEE package on the master image then deployed it out to several Mac labs. Most of the clients are fine but on some, when I try to open Photoshop or Illustrator, etc., the icon appears in the dock along with the Adobe Application Manager icon. Both icons appear and disappear simultaniously, and theres no way to force quit anything. Does anyone know how to fix this? Please help, the labs need to be CS6 ready by this Friday..
Here is the error log I get, and it keeps repeating:

Having the same problems here too. There does not seem to be any rhyme or reason for this either. First, this was happening only on a couple of my Macs, now it seems to be affecting over 50% of them on campus.
I am wondering if there was a bug in a recent Adobe CS6 update that I may have pushed out when using RUM.
Adobe. I need help and quick. We are due an Ofsted inspection soon and this does not look good at all.

Final Cut Pro 7 quits directly after start

Hi!
I just reinstalled the Mac Pro, there is nothing on the disc than OSX and Final Cut Studio.
When i start ist, i see the Icon and the load progress then it asks me for the sequence setting, and when i clik it quits without any message.
But when is start it with an admin user it starts fine and works!
Can plaese someone help?

did you use preference manager as Russ suggested? This is the surest way of accomplishing this.
Any reason why you can just use an admin account?
Could be a permissions issue. Try repairing permissions using applications: utiltiies: disk utility. Are all your drives formatted macosextended?

Skype Crashing directly after starting

Hello,
I've been using skype quite some time now, all of the sudden my computer get's a blue screen. I start my computer again, start everything as usual. Then skype won't start anymore with the message: "Skype is not working anymore". I've searched for an error, couldn't find anything. Done everything it says on the same posts. And it's not working, i hope someone can help me out!

For anyone having this problem too, i deleted my skype folder in Roaming. And it works again, just great. Weirdly enough i already did that, but now it worked.

Shell replacement but touch functionality not available after start

Hi all,
i use Windows 7 Pro and I want to replace the Windows shell (eplorer.exe) with my own application.
For testing I changed all neccessary registry entries to notepad.exe (on board) as shell. After starting windows with autologon, notepad appears and no deskop and taskbar. Exactly what I expected. The problem is, the touchfunctionality is not available directly
after starting windows. No keyboard an mouse function. When I wait for 3 - 4 minutes without doing everything, the touch functionality is suddenly present.
When I change back to explorer shell, the touch funktionality is present directly after starting windows.
Does anybody know, how I can force the touch functionality, so that the touch work directly after starting windows with my own shell (Notepad)?
Further Information:
I use no third party driver and the touch display is connected via USB to simulate keyboard and mouse.

To check the root cause of this issue, I suggest you follow these steps to create 2 boot trace file for comparison:
1. Start your computer in normal, and install WPT (http://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/4847.install-the-windows-performance-toolkit-wpt-en-us.aspx)
and run following command to trace boot sequence, it will let you restart your computer.
xbootmgr –trace boot -traceFlags BASE+LATENCY+DISK_IO_INIT+DISPATCHER+DRIVERS+FILE_IO+FILE_IO_INIT+NETWORKTRACE+PERF_COUNTER+POWER+PRIORITY+REGISTRY -postBootDelay 300 -resultPath C:\Boot_Trace_Normal
2. In normal mode, please do the changes to replace Windows shell, then run following command to capture the boot trace during restarting:
xbootmgr –trace boot -traceFlags BASE+LATENCY+DISK_IO_INIT+DISPATCHER+DRIVERS+FILE_IO+FILE_IO_INIT+NETWORKTRACE+PERF_COUNTER+POWER+PRIORITY+REGISTRY -postBootDelay 300 -resultPath C:\Boot_Trace_Replace
3. Check the difference by using Performance analyzer in WPT and referring following article:

IMac can't connect to internet dial up after start up.

I've a problem every time I try to make a connection to the internet directly after starting up my iMac. The very first time I try to log on to my ISP the Mac appears to make a connection, the status window in Internet connect indicates that it has (generally 52-54000bps), but when I try to surf, my browser can't find any sites, same with email. I get the standard connection noise when dialing out, occasionally the noise drops out mid way through, but it always makes a connection. Sometimes it will disconnect after about 30-40 secs, sometimes it doesn't. When I reconnect a second time I get good speeds and can stay on for hours. This is happening every time I boot up and dial out, basically I now expect to have to dial out twice before I can get onto the web every time I switch on the computer.
I've read a few threads re this problem, it seems the iMac has a software modem which can cause some problems, but there doesn't seem to be too many complaints about this exact same issue. Should I be getting a Mac tech to sort this out or is this a generic issue that may be resolved in a future software update? This is a new Mac my second as the first nearly flew out the window after a kernel panic. Apple tech support in Sydney don't seem to have heard of this problem, and have told me to re install the OS again, which of course I have, plus run disk aid and re set the permissions etc etc...
The ISP has given me an alternative dial up number which actually works the first time I dial in, but I only get speeds of 28000bps. Can anyone shed any light on this? Will I get a similar problem if I went to Broadband?

Unfortunately I've not got any help on this issue. An Apple tech has told me to try changing the modem settings down to V34 which I did, the connection worked correctly but I was only getting speeds of up to 33000bps, real speed tests showed I was actually only on 28000bps, same as when I dialed the alternative number given by the ISP, not good enough. I don't have any other devices connected to the phone line, in fact the line is only used for the internet. Maybe there is a problem with this type of software modem, but then why isn't there more comments here, unless everyone else is on broadband. Apple and my ISP seem to think the slower connection is more reliable, it is but at a cost. Not sure why this is considered better when the speed is so slowww. Like Seb above I don't have any problems when I'm using a Windows lap top on the same line.
Anyone out there know the answer??? There are at least 3 of us with this problem...

OK, with the help of telephonic Support, which I could not
find at
first, I solved it. I already guessed it was the Prefs file,
like I had
about a year ago as wel with Photoshop. Could not find such a
file, but
talking with support it turned out to be the complete
Dreamweaver folder
in Documents and Sttings and inside the folder with my name
et.
After renameing the Dreamweaver folder, Dreamweaver started
and created
a new folder.

How to Direct control to application's window after closing the popup?

Hi,
I am using 10.1.3. In my application I am unable to direct control to application's window after closing the popup, if I open any other window at the same time.
For more info see the below step:-
-> Open any popup in my application.
-> Open any new window (lets say Google.com).
-> Now restore popup on Google window.
-> Now close popup
          - control goes to Google window but not the parent application window.
How to direct control to the parent window?
Can anybody help me regarding this?

You can do this using Javascript alone. Below are the two sample files I created.

Although, one point to take note is the naming of html objects by by these ADF UI Components. If you named your form id as "*form1*" and input text id as "*something*", your input text id will end up as "*form1:something*".

InDesign CS6 crashing just after start up

Hi,
We've had an ongoing problem with one of our users InDesign CS6, I feel like we have tried everything possible. I'll list them for reference:
Uninstalling InDesign CS6 through the standard "uninstall a program".
Uninstalling InDesign CS6 and using the "AdobeCreativeCloudCleanerTool".
Tried installing using different disks.
Tried updating the program (some times it showed there being no updates).
Tried deleting startup scripts and deleting preferences.
Tried with a fresh profile on the users PC.
Used multiple PCs to test this with different accounts from different users.
In the end we just wiped the Harddrive clean, a completely fresh install of windows 7, still no joy.
The only way we can get this to work and not crash just after start up is by giving the user administrative rights, which for obvious reasons, isn't an option for us.
Here is the problem signature from window that notifies me of the crashing, with all the info inside.

Hi Peter,
It seems I've finally found a fix! One of my colleagues sent me this so I thought I would share it incase others have the same issue.
These are the steps I followed to get it to work.
1.Create a folder on the C-root, like C:\UserTemp
2.Give the users Modify rights on the folder you created,
3.Run the following commandlines for each user to change their %temp% and %tmp% paths (need to be logged in as the user):
A. setx.exe TEMP C:\UserTemp
B. setx.exe TMP C:\UserTemp
Basically what this does is creates a new TEMP folder where the user can gain full access too, without actually having administrative rights. I've been told this works for all CS6 applications not just InDesign.
Hope this can help someone else in the future and thanks for all your help on this Peter, with the troubleshooting.
