CS6 - Can't draw multiple lines with the same starting point consecutively without an extended pause between strokes. Ruins hatching and writing certain letters ("i" "E" etc.). Is this a normal limitation of flash?

Question is in the title. I animate in a traditional style (frame-by-frame) and draw a lot. When I animated in photoshop, the only annoyance was that the interface was terrible in terms of animation flexibility, but performed so much better in terms of actually drawing the frames. I invested in flash because I've heard that it really speeds up the animation workflow, but I'm getting quite irritated by this bug. I never read about it in reviews, and it's not something that I've gotten results for by googling, so I'd really like to know. Is this a normal issue in flash? Or is this something that I can fix? I've been trying to deal with it for a few weeks now but it's reaching a point where I just can't tolerate it anymore. I know I'm posting this in the CC community but I'd really really appreciate it if someone had a fix for this that I wasn't aware of, because otherwise I've wasted a lot of money.

Its not possible for the same development object. Only 1 person can access an object at a time and if mutiple users modify an object new TASKs are created under the same TRANSPORT.
Only after releasing the tr you can create a new tr on the same object.

Can iTunes sync multiple songs with the same name?

My iTunes library has multiple songs with the same name (but they point to different files on the filesystem).
Curiously when iTunes syncs to my iPhone it will only ever sync two of the files, even if more exists. I suspect what is happening is described below, but I have no way of verifying it:
Let's assume I have 5 songs named IdenticalName, on the filesystem these are named IdenticalName.mp3, IdenticalName 1.mp3, IdenticalName 2.mp3, and so on.
I suspect iTunes is syncing the filename without a number postfix, and the file with the "1" postfix and not continuing with the rest of the files.
Has anyone seen similar behaviour? Did you find a workaround (other than renaming your tracks)?

can you manually discover the new instances on the new server?
Then just make sure the name that appears in Grid Control is different.
e.g. prod.world is on server A and B. When you discover in Grid control, you can make it prod_B and you will see the latter without any problem.

Hello all, I own a desktop computer, and just recently bought my first laptop. I have iTunes already installed and my iPod synced on the desktop. Now I just installed iTunes on the laptop, and want to sync the iPod on the laptop also, so I can have two computers synced with the same iPod. Can that be done? I don't believe your cellular provider will provision 2 SIM cards with the same number. You can forward calls, if your carrier supports it, from one phone to the other depending on which one you have with you.

Can I manage multiple iPads with the same Apple ID?

I have a client that will have 4 iPads at a trade show to use as displays for a small animation about their product. We will need to install a kiosk app from the app store on all iPads. I'm confused about how Apple IDs fit into all of this. Will I be able to use the same Apple ID for all 4 iPads and install the kiosk apps on all 4 devices? I realize I might have to pay for the app 4 times, which I'm fine with.
I found the iPad Configurator app, but since this is for a client, I dont want my work computer being used as the "main" computer to control them. Do I have any other options? Yes - you can use the sasme AppleID on multiple iOS devices, and install the same apps. You can downoad the apps directly to the device (via WiFi) and not neccessarily need to synch them.

Can I update multiple forms with the same dropdown at the same time

I have 20+ forms that have a common dropdown. Each form has between 1 and 15 instances of this dropdown. The values in the dropdown are updated on a frequent basis.
Currently I have an identical Document JavaScript named 'UpdateDropdowns' in each form.

There are over 30 choices in my present iteration of var aList, but for brevity I've only listed the 3 examples to illustrate my JavaScript.
Currently when I have to update the dropdown, I follow these steps
Open form
Open UpdateDropdowns Document JavaScript
Add the additional value(s)
Highlight and copy the updated var aList
Close the Document JavaScript
Update the form in the Log Console
Repeat process for all forms (pasting in the new var aList to ensure conformity)

Multiple devices with the same GUID

There exists an option to register a device with a new GUID by doing the following...
register (reg) [-g] [-k <key>] [-u <username> -p <password] <ZENworks Server addressort>
Registers the device in a Management Zone.
You can use the following options:
g - Lets you create a new device object with a new GUID and password for the device if you have multiple devices with the same GUID. When you register a device by using this switch, all the associations (policies and bundles) assigned to the original device object are removed. You cannot use this option to create a new GUID for a Primary Server or a Satellite device. The local user must have Local Administrator rights to use this option.
I would like to know if it is possible to have such a command line option for the agent installation. So built into the agent installer, a command line option to force the agent to register with a new GUID.
We are having CONTINUOUS problems with the above scenario. When we move devices from one computer lab to another and re-image the device, Zenworks keps trying to assign the same GUID to the device and this mixes up our Dynamic Workstation groups, which then affect the applicable policies to each device.
I would like to know if there is an option to tell the installer to stop remembering the GUID and simply register the device with a new guid on agent installation.
This way we can build that into the post imaging scripts which install the zenworks agent.

OK, I've had a look at the ZCM Reconcile rules and run a few tests to see if it is possible to get the machines not to reconcile (use a new GUID after imaging).
As I have explained before, sometimes this result is desired in our case especially when we move machines around from lab to lab.
So far, no matter what configuration I use, I cannot get Zenworks to generate a new GUID for a device that is getting re-imaged (without doing so only after the fact by unregistering the machine and reregistering the machine via the zac und and zac reg -g).
We use dynamic workstation groups to assign policies and bundles to machines so reconciling the devices is not necessary most of the time. We need an option to tell the machine to register with a new GUID on installation of the agent. Surely such an option can be built into the agent installer?
The options in the ZCM config management "reconcile settings" I tested with are:
Serial Number - Unticked/Unselected
Mac Address - Unticked/Unselected
Machine Name - Unticked/Unselected
Enable Differentiation - Unticked/Unselected
I then also tested:
Serial Number - Unticked/Unselected
Mac Address - Unticked/Unselected
Machine Name - Ticked/Selected
Enable Differentation - Ticked/Selected
and also:
Serial Number - Unticked/Unselected
Mac Address - Unticked/Unselected
Machine Name - Ticked/Selected
Enable Differentation - Unticked/Unselected
With all three different configurations, I re-imaged the same machine, which renames the machine via the first post imaging installation script to match the DNS name. Thereafter the Zenworks agent gets installed, which then renames the machine back to what it was registered into the Zenworks database with on first installation.
We need a method of telling Zenworks NOT to reconcile when we want it to. It should not reconcile every time and thereby rename the machine netBIOS name.
Is there any way to achieve this?

All you need to do is bring down an image and the machine will come back as it was with all the same WS and Device associations.
The same thing could apply if bringing in new Hardware.
If a new computer were to replace an old computer but the name stayed the same, everything could be automatic depending on the rules setup.
It is all a matter of how you tell ZCM to reconcile devices.
The Help in the ZCC under these items should explain how it works so you can setup your rules to meet your use cases.

Can you avoid multiple clips of the same media in a project

We have 2 suites and we sometimes work together on a common project utilising the same media.
If I want to use a sequence from the other suite I can easily import it.
The problem: it creates another folder with clips that only belong to the imported sequence.
The end result after a few imported sequences is that my final timeline has instances in it that
are from clips belonging to several different folders or bins even though the media is the same.
In summary... is there a way you can avoid having multiple clips of the same media in a project.
Makes for a very messy project when you have finished.

We have a user and when she get an item assigned to her she sees the following alert:
"There are multiple users with the same display name USERNAME and at least one of them does not have read permissions to some of the files"
Now I looked in the database and when I run the following query with the username:

Then I get 2 same usernames back, How can I get rid of one of them ? When I access TFS trough the portal I only find 1 occurence of this user.

How can I save multiple titles under the same DVD?

I use HandBrake to rip DVD's into iTunes. How can I save multiple titles under the same DVD? For instance, I have a Jimi Hendrix documentary that comes with special features, such as concert performances. I would like to have the main feature and the special features saved in my iTunes under the same title, perhaps as different 'tracks' (kind of like how different songs can be saved under the same album).
Is there a way for me to do this, or am I chasing phantoms?

Duplicate the photo first. (Photos -> Duplicate). This means that you will have multiple copies of the master as well as the edited version.
If you use versions like this often and wish to have only one master then you can do this with Aperture.

Can you opening multiple albums at the same time in Photo (not iPhoto)?

When converting the iPhoto library to Photo most of the albums that were in place in iPhoto converted to albums in Photo . . . .but not all. Some were retained as events mainly those that were folders within an album. In order to move them to the right album I would like to have multiple albums open at the same time (side by side) so that I can make sure not to duplicate photos or move them to the wrong spot.
I cant see how to do this, it seems that I can need to open one album and check phots and then close to look within and other and rely on memory. There must be a more efficient and accurate way to do this?

All of the events in iPhoto were converted to albums and are located in the Folder titled iPhoto Event in the sidebar of Photos.
You can't open multiple albums at the same time. You can create a smart album that will do essentially the same thing with the following criteria:
Album is "A"
Album is "B".
The smart album will display all of the photos in those two albums.

Of course, you can combine several deliveries into one shipment. You can set your own selection variant to select deliveries with the same ship-to party.
You cannot combine several deliveries into one delivery. The combination of deliveres is possible only when creating deliveries in VL10*.
