CS6 crash now that I have OS X Yosemite
I will be working on an image in CS6 and it just crashed on me 2 times in 15 mins!
When you say image do you mean a picture? If so you have the wrong forum. This one is for Adobe Audition, their audio editing software. So perhaps you meant to post in the Photoshop forums.

Now that I have upgraded to Yosemite I have a problem when I scan documents. Formerly, a window showed today's activity. Now, I have to search through all the documents in my history to find what I just scanned. Sometimes I can't even find the doc.
Most scan apps have a setting whereas, your scan(s) can go directly to your desktop. No need to "hunt" for scanned docs.

I have lost all of my previously created keynote templates now that I have upgraded to yosemite. How can I use Keynotes and pages etc on my computer and not on the cloud.

All iWork apps allow you to save your documents on your computer. You will be able to choose the destination when you want to save a document.
You can also disable iCloud for some apps. To do that, go to System Preferences -> iCloud, press "Options" next to "iCloud Drive" and disable the apps you want to.
If you have lost your old documents, you should have a backup that you made before upgrading to OS X Yosemite, so you only have to restore it. -
FCP 4 CRASHES NOW THAT I HAVE 'TIGER'
I have final cut pro 4 which has always worked great until now. I've just upgraded to Tiger and now it crashes! This is quite bizarre. E.g. when I click settings' in Sequence menu, it just decides to quit!
This is quite frustrating. I can't afford to upgrade to FCP 5 and don't want to go back to my original Panther operation system (as this doesn't support certain USB devices I own). I've tried the pro apps download and it did not work. Someone please tell me that Apple have digitally mugged me.
Thank you.How did you upgrade? The best way is to backup your files to another volume then do a complete clean install of the OS, followed by re-installing your programs. In most cases, there's been very few probelms reported associated with that method.
By the way, FCP 4 had quite a few bugs. Is there any particualr reason you haven't done the free upgrade to 4.5?

I installed OS X Yosemite a couple of weeks ago. I continually get a pop-up message to install Java. Also my Mac seems to be performing a little slower than usual. What can I do?
Most likely, you have the Facebook video calling plugin, which depends on the Java runtime distributed by Apple. If you no longer need the plugin, remove it. Otherwise, install Java.

My computer crashed after about a week or so into the free 30 day trail of Photo Shop CC. (Also I had downloaded the free 30 day trial of Adobe Audition on same computer.) Can I cancel both of those and start over now that I have another computer?

How can I Migrate/Split itunes/icloud account for a large family now that they have family sharing
Ok, now that Apple has finally come out with family sharing I need to get things sorted out and I think it is going to be a mess. I have 6 family members (my spouse and 4 children) all sharing/using one itunes account. For parental reasons this made perfect sense. Now with the the advent of family sharing and such we have alot of sorting and migrating to do and I am very unsure how to go about it. Here is what we have.
Myself - I have a 64GB iPad 3 and a 64GB iPhone 5
Spouse - 64GB iPhone 5
Children - x4 16GB iPhone 5C (pink, blue, green, and a yellow)
We have had one itunes account now for several years, we used to have x4 16GB iphone 4's and a 16GB iPod touch 4 so we needed it to be shared at the time. We all have different Game Center ID's and Facetime/iMessages are all setup to the phone numbers (aside from mine which also uses the itunes e-mail). We currently have 1 upgraded icloud account with 200GB of storage on it (love the new tiers). So here are the questions.
1) How do I go about using and isolating all the devices so they can all use the iCloud storage? Right now if I try and setup backups by device under the what to backup there is no simple "Full Backup" option, they have all the categories separated. I cannot backup my daughters contacts without forcing a merging of them and so on. Same thing with Documents and Data. Would I need to setup a different iCloud account for each device now?
2) iTunes Music/App purchases. Now that they have a family sharing function I am assuming it would be a good time to separate all the devices (aside from my personal iPad/iPhone). If I understand correctly we need to setup a new itunes account for each and link them with family sharing, does this then allow us to disperse/move items from a singular to the multiple account (at least a one time option to move around) or would it simply be shared off the original account? My daughter for example will be 18 next summer and as such no longer under our care. How do we move her items to her account? She has a lot of purchased Music. Now keep in mind I am talking about an account for someone who was 12 when she had her first device and as such needed to be under her parents.
I just want to state that repurchasing things is NOT an option, and to be frank, according to Canadian laws pertaining to *licensing* we actually own the product if we paid for it and have the right to transfer the ownership thereof. This issue went through the courts regarding used copies of OEM editions of Microsoft Windows several years ago and they closed the legal *license* vs ownership separation.Go to appleid.apple.com to manage the ID, sign in and select to the Name, ID and Email Addresses section, then change the birth date on the bottom right. At the present time you may not be able to enter the correct birth date, but others have had success changing the year to 2000, or the date to 1/1/2001, both of which will have child ID status.

Ok, so just put into DFU Mode and connect it to your computer. Open Itunes an it will say that you need to restore. Click ok then follow the instructions.

I have replied to you three times now without reply. I DID NOT authorise a payment of £9.99 for NowTV. What is the solution to getting my money refunded. I think you assume I will go away after being Ignored. No I will not go away. I find now that you have DISABLED MY APPLE ID. Is this a punishment you use to anyone who takes up a stand against charges being made unauthorised on their account?. Please tell me why you have disabled my account. I have a G5 which I intend to keep.
Now that I have updated my iphone 4s to iOS 7.0.
I cannot add music to my iphone or upload photos to iphoto.
I have the last itunes 10.6.3. which was supported by apple.
itunes will not interact with my iphone on any level.
Apple made all the equipment I use.
Bentley and Ferrari etc do not stop making parts for their cars?

Regarding iOS 7.0 you have totally lost the plot.
We buy apple why?
Quality.
Intuitive interface.
Stable software.
Design.
All that Steve Jobs consider sacrosanct.
Quality is about ongoing support longevity of product.
Its not about trying to sell to every person on the planet, others are way ahead of you.
So try respective the customers you have, it wont be long before theirs a better operating system and your lead in hardware is marginal.

If you have an iPhone or iPad do not update to ISO 7 unless you want an operating system that looks like windows 8. The graphics looks like it was designed by a artistically challenged mongoose and the operating system is not intuitive something apple users expect. Overly complicated ugly and generally change for the sake of apples paranoia since the death of Steve Jobs.You need to update iTunes to 11.1 on your PC

I am using the Firefox 3.6.3 version with my new Windows 7 operating system. When I used all the previous Firefox versions in my XP and Vista operating systems, image quality and resolution was excellent! However, now that I have upgraded to Windows 7 and Firefox 3.6.3, the image quality and resolution is poor (unacceptable for downloading purposes).

The issue is not solved by resetting the zoom text view (ctrl+0)
The issue is not resolved by starting in safemode with add-ons disabled
The problem seems to only affect .jpeg files and only on Windows 7 on my desktop; as I have viewed several sites using windows XP with my laptop, no issues.
I had the same issue with IE8 and was able to fix the problem with by setting up the compatibility view for all sites. Issue fixed no problems at all. But nothing similar for firefox?

Problem setting up network on iBook in OS X 10.4.11
A friend has an old iBook G4 running OS 10.4.11. After not having used the machine in a while, she needs to use it for a bit before getting a new one. There is a problem, though: in System Preferences, opening Network to set up a current internet con
