CS6 crashes almost immediately after startup of a program

It doesn't matter after I run PS, Illustrator, or Premiere Pro, as soon as I start a CS6 application, it will load for a few seconds only, and then crash out.  I do not get any warning or messages to know what is the reason for this happening.  I have tried reinstalling multiples times already, removing preferences each time, but cannot figure out the reason why the entire CS6 suite has now shut down 5 seconds after the launch of any program.  If anyone has any experience with this, please let me know, thanks.

Nobody can tell you anything without proper system info or other technical details like the actual crash info/ logs.

  • Adobe CC products either closes almost immediately after Startup or closes after giving the message "Could not validate license"

Okay, so I recently got all the products I wanted from CC via the student subscription. It was a bit of a pain getting everything working, as windows explorer crashed and reopened during installation of CC and during an update. Once I finally got in and got everything installed, I thought I was golden, it was then that I discovered my troubles had only just begun. Whenever I tried to open a program it either closed almost immediately after Startup or closed after giving the message "Could not validate license". Thus far I have not found a solution, as the much touted log out and log in method failed me.
Any help in this area would be greatly appreciated as I am honestly at a loss on what to do.
    Technical details:
The programs I tried were After Effects, Audition, Photoshop and Premiere.
    I am using Windows 7.

  • Iphoto crashes almost immediately after payment taken for book order

    Hi
I'm trying to upload my first iphoto book. I make the payment and almost immediately iphoto crashes - it then prompts me to repair which I do and then I try again and the same happens?
I've tried safe mode as suggested elsewhere to no avail?  Support is now shut is there anything else I can try?
    Thanks
    R

Boot into Safe Mode,  Mac OS X: Starting up in Safe Mode, and create a PDF file of the book as described in this Apple Document:  iPhoto, Aperture: Previewing an order in iPhoto or Aperture. Proof the book for any errors, typos and others, before starting the ordering process.
If the PDF file is OK then order the book while still in Safe Mode.  Keep the PDF file to compare to the printed copy when you receive it.

  • My apps launches then crashes almost immediately. i have iOS 5.0.1

please help. i dont know what to.. i have my apps working fine a minute ago. then now they crash almost immediately after i reopen them... all of my FREE downloaded apps crash....

Try a hard reset first.  To do this, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.
If that doesn't work, try downloading another app from the App Store and see if that helps.

  • Photoshop CS6 closes itself immediately after launching, please help!

    Hi everyone,
My situation is exactly as the titles says, l launch Photoshop CS6, and the splash logo shows up as normal, and than it will close itself  (as in literally as if l pressed the X button to exit the program; the individual brush windows and such close before shutting down, all of that stuff)
There are no crash reports, and no error messages.
l've been looking online extensively for an answer but l've only found other frustrated users with the same/similar problem that don't have a solution.
l purchased Photoshop along with Illustrator, and inDesign in a bundle, and it is the same situation for those programs too, they close immediately after l launch the program.
This all happened out of the blue, and l'm not sure what else to do.

I don't really understand what l have to do. l don't get any activation or connection errors, and l am already signed in with my Adobe ID.
lt also shows up on my Adobe page too; http://i.imgur.com/eHm6yaU.png
l think that it is activated, but the programs on my computer don't think it is activated.
+ Edit: l made a new account by accident the other day because l forgot about it, so l'm the same person asking the question by the way.

I have a cellular data account on my iPad. Almost immediately after I signed up, my e-mail was hacked and had to be cancelled. I cannot get into my AT&T cellular data account now to change the billing and account to my new e-mail. Please help.

According to the AT&T Wireless web site, you can manage your iPad data plan either from the iPad, or by using a web browser:
    From the website
Log in to your account at att.com/iPadlanding using the email address and password you used during activation.
Your account information will display. Select the desired account change option then tap Next.
Read the Terms of Service, and then tap Accept.
Review the Payment Summary to ensure the details are correct. Use the Back button if changes are required, otherwise tap Submit.
Read the Confirmation message then tap OK.

  • Illustrator dialog boxes dissappear almost immediately after they appear SOLVED

Illustrator dialog boxes dissappear almost immediately after they appear. Save As, or Open. I am able to double click and open a file, but not via Open dialog.
If I do open a file, I can not do a "Save As".  The dialog box pops up momentarily, but is gone before I can select a destination or new file name.
Some programs in creative cloud function okay, Illustrator does not. This is on a Macbook Pro. This worked for a number of months, and recently "broke".
    On my own I:
    1. updated Illustrator
    2. uninstalled Illustrator
    3. reinstalled Illustrator
    At tech supports suggestion I:
    uninstalled.
    removed various config files
    reinstalled
    uninstalled again
    ran adobe cc cleaner
    reinstalled.
...some other things I can't recall...
Still no luck. Created new user.
SUCCESS.  However, this created a huge headache to move an entire user configuration.
I had an idea to try 'one more thing'.  I updated OS from 10.9 to 10.9.1.
SUCCESS. I could now run in the original user.
FINAL RESOLUTION:  I updated OS from 10.9 to 10.9.1.

Does anyone know if these dialogs use Java Access Bridge? Because when I alt-tab back to iTunes in its frozen state, its labeled as "Access Bridge status" which might indicate a problem with Java, if it in fact uses Java.
Again, thanks to anyone who can offer some help.
    ~Dustin

  • Why does my Macbook Pro crash almost immediately when I'm offline?

My Macbook Pro (late 2007 if i'm right) crashes randomly, whether I'm using a program or not. Suddenly the whole screen freezes (I see a black mouse and not the spinning ball of death). So I'm forced to use the hard restart.
It started a while ago, when I still was using Snow Leopard. So I did a clean install, and had to buy Mountain Lion. Ever since the clean install there were 3 software updates. But still I'm having the crash problem.
After this last update to 10.8.5 I'm noticing that when I turn WiFi off it almost immediately crashes. And sometimes when I reboot I don't have the time to turn on WiFi again or it already has crashed.
Though I remember that my mac also crashed when I was using the ethernet cable and when i was using WiFi. Only now with the offline modus it seems that crashing is the only thing he can do.
This is what I already tried:
-Making a second account as administrator and start up in the safe mode: but still crashes when I go offline.
-using disk utility to veridy and repair disk permissions: all good.
    -NVRAM reset
    -SMC reset
I don't know what kind of information anyone needs, but:
Processor  2,2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
    Geheugen  4 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM
Videokaart  NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT 128 MB
    Software  OS X 10.8.5 (12F45)
And my harddrive has 56 gb free right now.

Thank you for your fast answer.
Even though I don't understand the connection between working offline and my videocard I believe you because I see sometimes blocked images when something tries to load or when i scroll down, mostly in photoshop. So I'm considering buying a new computer.
I tested my harddrive a while ago and it still seemed ok. (still i back up all the important stuff constantly).
Though I wanted to ask if you know if the Nvidia is a part of my logic board. I had my logic board replaced in 2010 because of an Nvidia error. So that part isn't that old. Still I can imagine that it doesn't work well anymore with other hardware or software on my computer.

  • MacBook Pro shuts off immediately after startup

My MacBook Pro shuts off immediately after I start it. It gets to the Apple logo on the grey screen and it shuts down. I have tried launching it in safe mode, resetting the NVRAM settings, nothing works.. Has anyone witnessed similar problems ? What can I do to fix this problem ? Help is gladly appreciated.

Reinstalling OS X Without Erasing the Drive
Boot to the Recovery HD: Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Reinstalling OS X Without Erasing the Drive
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the main menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility and press the Continue button. After Disk Utility loads select the Macintosh HD entry from the the left side list.  Click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If Disk Utility reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit Disk Utility and return to the main menu.
Reinstall OS X: Select Reinstall OS X and click on the Continue button.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.

  • MacBook Pro keeps shutting down immediately after startup chime

I booted into Windows 7 on my boot camp partition and was about to play Dirt 3 for the 1st time.  I was in the options menu of the game and my MacBook Pro just shut down/turned off instantly.
I turned back on, holding in Option so I could boot into Windows again, but the computer just turned off immediately after the startup chime.  I turned on again, this time I didn't hold in Option, so I could boot into OS X (my default startup volume) and the same thing happened - MBP shut down immediately after the startup chime.  I tried again, same thing.  I tried again, and this time it booted fine into OS X, and all seems ok.
    Any idea what's going on?

Hi. When you were in the recovery drive doing permissions, did you try and run a repair of the boot drive? Did you try single user mode? Try these first and then go back and try to reinstall the operating system. When I say repair boot drive I don't mean permissions. There are both options in disk utilities. When you open disk utilities ,you will see in the left column  two drives plus possibly  a boot partition that look like an external driv. click on the second drive and in first aid use repair disk. If you still can't boot and it will not let you restore, you may have to do a clean install.   http://support.apple.com/kb/PH18869?viewlocale=en_US

  • My imac turns it self back on almost immediately after putting it to sleep.  Why and how do I fix it?

This is new as of a few days ago.  I can't find anything in preferences to make it better nor did I change any setting.  Not sure what's going on.  The computer seems to be working fine except for that.

It's not supposed to do that, so there is no setting for it.  Be sure you have shut down (powered off) the Mac and started it back up, if you have not since this problem occurred.
If you are manually putting it to sleep, make sure you are not "bumping" the mouse immediately after giving the Sleep command.  Also, does this happen when the Mac goes to sleep due to timed inactivity?
    Resetting the PRAM may help
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1379
It may also help to reset "power management," which is called PMU, SMU, SMC, and other things depending on Mac model.  The reset procedure depends on iMac model.  If you can post back with the specific iMac model, I can link to the correct procedure.  This is a list of all iMac models
    http://www.everymac.com/systems/apple/imac/index-imac.html
A faulty USB device can cause this behavior.  You can try disconnecting all USB devices including hubs, except for standard mouse and keyboard (if used).  See if the problem recurs.
