CS6 Design Std

Question

I have downloaded and extracted the Adobe Design Std CS 6 (Windows,Universal English), but when I try to install the message "installer failed to initialize" appears.  I have tried doing everything on the http://forums.adobe.com/message/4430971 forum, but no good.  I unintalled CS 5.5 okay, still no good.  I can install CS 5.5 okay, but not CS 6.

I had a similar problem.
Day 1:
I had to download CS6 Master collection at home and sneaker net it on a USB stick to install at my office. 
Day 2:
I brought in the ZIP file and encountered errors with the .7z file.
Day 3:
I unzipped at home and copied the .7z file and .exe file to the stick. Still unable to run Set-up.exe
[It turned out not all files were being extracted]
Adobe advisor program reported:
"cpsid_82829s5: "Missing installation file," bootstrapper error has occurred."
Day 4:
extracted all files on home computer and copied all directories/files to USB.
Copied to other computer and told it to merge with existing files (to save time) - not to copy duplicates.
Same error message. [Turned out myriads of files that were not missing were actually incomplete as well.]
Copied again-- told Windows to overwrite all files this time and I proceeded to install successfully.
On each iteration,I used the same 32GB USB stick (formatted to NTFS to allow for the 6 GB file size) for all transfers.
My only guess is that the large file was not handled properly being copied to/from the USB stick. After being unzipped,
the .7z File was still 6 GB and appeared to unpack, but must have been corrupted.
