Cs6 design & web student teacher licensing version on 2 computers

So I am a graphic design student, I already have a 24' imac that I have the adobe cs6 design and web premium student and teacher liscensing version downloaded on it. For christmas I just got a macbook pro so I can work on the go. I'm having trouble downloading it on my second computer. Is that allowed with the student and teacher version? Because I know I've read that you are allowed to have it downloaded on two different computers otherwise. Also it is the same person (aka me) using the software. So its not like I'm sharing it with someone else. I just dont want to have to purchase the software AGAIN for another computer. I'm a broke college student after all who just spent a crap ton on a macbook pro.

And what specific problems do you actually have? You know, long speech, no info...

Trying to add my adopt creative suite 5.5 design standard-student teacher to my new computer since my old one crashed, but the new computer has no CD Drive. We transferred the files to an SD card, moved to desktop but it won't load. Dear Jeff, it seems I have a similar problem. I have a CS 5.5. Design Standard on CD, student edition. Now my new laptop does not have a CD drive.
I have been trying to find a download at the Adobe site, but under the heading of CS 5.5. it gives access to a newer version. So I guess my license wouldn't work (I did not bother to try this).
So any help is welcome:

Hello, last year I purchased Adobe CS6 Design & Web premium for students, and what I ordered is for Mac. I installed it in my iMac and Macbook, but then I unlinked the one in my iMac because I planned to install it in another machine (a windows desktop computer which is also mine). But then I typed the serial number to the Adobe design & web premium in windows and it says "the serial number you entered is invalid."
Any idea how to transfer the CS6 to this machine?

Serial numbers for perpetually licensed products such as CS6 are platform specific: Mac only or Windows only.
You cannot use a Mac serial number to license the software on Windows. And vice versa.
You can swap platforms using this procedure but it will require that you surrender your Mac license.

Cloud apps (CC versions) do not have that limitation: they can be installed on both Mac and/or Windows for the same membership fee.

I have a LEGAL version of CS6 Design & Web primium. I have installed it about a year ago and registered bij Adobe. If I look on the site, my CS6 and licensenumber is available. Still it does not work. Eveytime it says my trail version comes to an end and I have to buy it. But I already bought it.

CS6 Design & Web Premium says it's a trial version.

Hello, I have bought CS6 Design & Web Premium. I can see it when i use my adobe-id with th registered products. Nevertheless the software won't startup since a month because it says it's a trial version. When i try to register with the original serial number it won't accept. Does anyone know what's wrong? Thank you for your reply. All the checks are fine, I have acces to the activation server but the next step is a problem:
Search the hosts file for entries that reference activate.adobe.com (for example, 127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com) and delete these entries.
I can not find a file like that. So as I assume there is a connection to the activation server but there is no document in my system to tell that this is no trial version, is that correct?
So what to do next?

Try setting the text direction with no files open. It should stick for all new files.

I bought Adobe CS6 Design Web Premium, can I upgrade to Master Collection ?

I bought Adobe CS6 Design Web Premium in marth 2014.
Now I'm in university and I will learn how to use Adobe Premiere Pro.
Unfortunately, this software isn't include in the suite that I purchased.

As a student you are usually able to purchase Adobe software at a reduced price. While you cannot usually upgrade a student/teacher version of software you can still purchase the software at a substantial savings. You should look into this if you have noit already done so.
