CS6 did not uninstall cleanly

I've had increasing problems with CS6. It does not immediately open and seems to hang on Color Efex 4. Once you back out of that problem, then it opens three minutes later. I've been working with it that way for about a week but it has become increasingly sluggish.
I decided to uninstall and reinstall both CS6 and the Nik Plugins. In uninstalling I went through Windows 7 Control Panel. It did not cleanly uninstall and gave me a message to use Adobe CS Cleaner tool. However, when I brought that up it is only for up to CS 5.5.
I tried to see if in spite of the problems with uninstall, I could reinstall but it won't allow it.
Can anybody help?

I have a similar problem. I deleted other version and try to install CS6 Beta version, but my computer thinks CS6 is already installed. I'm not able to uninstall CS6 because it doesn't appear in Programs and features list. I guess we have to wait for CS6 Cleaner Tool.
Or some wise great master of Windows/Adobe to tell us where is the files that makes CS6 Installer thinks that there is CS6 already installed, so we can delete them manually.

Itunes did not uninstall cleanly from windows 7

I uninstalled I tunes from my PC, and the itunes suport programs did not completely uninstall. Now I cannot add Itunes back on the PC.

Seems to have stopped - not sure why but I suspect it was getting stuck trying to find a couple of album covers after I imported my library (though there was no notice of this). Anyway, I walked through the entire library and added any missing covers and it seems to have stopped the behaviour.

Bridge CS6 did not download, PS window over extends below Mac icons at bottom

I subscribed to CS6 and Bridge CS6 is not activated. When I try it takes me back to Bridge CS4. Also, my PS window extends below my laptop icons so that I am not able to see bottom icons from my layers pallet. I've try to get tech support for 3 days. Spending 3 hrs waiting on the phone 1st day, 3.5 hrs on the second(my phone number was taken by contact person but did not received same and today I've waited since 10 am and it's 10:30 pm(via prompter I was told to expect a call back at 11:30 am). I don't understand what is the problem? When I subscribed there was a friendly operator to sign me up without a hassle.

Screenshots tell a lot. I would guess, though, that it works ias it always has - by default, PS will open in fullscreen and if you don't auto-hide your dock and keep it in teh forerground all the tiem, naturally it will interfere with any app running in fullscreen. For Bridge, you can change the associations manualyl in the Bridge prefs and enabling/ disabling the relevant startup scripts.

2014 update did not uninstall the previous versions

When I got the 2014 updates, none of the installs deleted the previous version. In addition people are complaining that if you uninstall the previous version by hand, then the new version fails to work correctly. What Adobe has done here is very confusing, and I would like a better explanation than I'm seeing.

Firefox no longer installed, but I did not uninstall it.

I started my XP machine today and Firefox was gone. No sign of it, no Mozilla folder, not listed in add/remove programs. I have no idea what happened to it. I can download and reinstall, but want to know how it got removed.

In Windows XP this does not exist in the OS. Sometimes a problem with Firefox may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of.

You are using Windows XP, so it is not advised to uninstall Internet Explorer. Even if you don't use it, you should keep it up to date, since its engine is used by other applications. You can simply delete the shortcuts that lead to it, and that should clear enough room, though.

ITunes has disappeared from my phoneI did not uninstall, but it's gone along with the icon. HELP

It's a built-in app so it can't be deleted (and therefore can't be redownloaded), but it might be hidden. If you can't find it on any of your homescreens or app folders, and you can't find it via the spotlight search screen (pull down the centre of the home screen in iOS 7), then is it hidden by Settings > General > Restrictions > iTunes being set 'off' ?
If not then have you tried a soft-reset to see if you can find it after the phone has restarted ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the equivalent of a reboot.

Deleted CC app, DID NOT uninstall.

I simply selected the folders where CC and After Effects had their data and moved them to trash (got nervous with the compatibility issue).
Now, after redownloading and reinstalling Creative Cloud App Management, it shows that I have Ae installed on my mac. Of course, I do not have it, and it does not let me download it again. I had a 30 day trial version.
Please help. How do I get my After Effects back?

Please follow the below mentioned steps:
Launch the Creative Cloud desktop application.
Click the Settings (gear) icon right top corner and select sign out.
Rename the Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE folder to OOBE_old
Download the Creative Cloud desktop application https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud
Now try to install the Creative Cloud application and sign in.
Try to download After Effects CC
Please reply for any assistance.

Did not use Uninstall. Now problems reinstalling CS 5.5

While installing CS 5.5 on new MBP with OSX 10.9.5 it stopped and I had to
start over and did not Uninstall but rather dragged applications and folders to Trash.
Is that why I cannot reinstall now without FATAL Error - conflicts found in selected payloads?

and activate with your serial.
if you have a problem dl'g, you didn't follow all 7 steps. the most common error involves failing to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3.

You give very few details. If I stated that .......
"I started my Nissan today and it started fine - but my Chevrolet will not start today - but it started yesterday. Help!" - you would probably have no idea where to begin with doling out advice or troubleshooting steps. What troubleshooting did you do? Obviously not all of it - if you did not uninstall and reinstall iTunes.
Quit iTunes, reboot your PC and then try again.
If that does not work, you could post back with the OS that your actually running on your computer - I am assuming that you are a Windows user and I could be wrong, but without some help from you .... Well we are just beating our heads against the wall.

Can see thumbnails in CS5.1 bridge and LR 4.2 which fortunately i did not uninstall.

We can't know. You are not offering any system information or e.g. info about what image files you are working with. Since they do show up in your otehr programs, my assumption would be that you need to switch the Camera Raw engine back to the 2009/2010 version in Photoshop and not use the default new 2012 one. Perhaps your thumbnails will appear then....

I did not uninstall CS6 beta, I did the click & drag to trash. Now I get a message saying cannot install CS6, there is a version of CS6 already there. What do I do now?

Cs6 does not regiser in my Win 7 Registry

I tryed to change my .JPG files to default to CS6, I go thru all the procedures but CS6 does not show up in my sysem default program list. The answer from Microsoft is the CS6 did not register in the system registry when I installed it. How do I accomplish this?

Microsoft people are correct ...it is the registry issue because of which the problem is coming up.
NOTE:- Please create a system restore point and do the registry Back up before making any changes , as playing with the registry could be fatal for your computer.
Navigate to Computer\HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Applications and find your .exe name ex:- Photoshop.exe
Navigate under its name to shell>open>command.
In the Default change its location to the actual location of the executable, Ex:- "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS6 (64 Bit)\Photoshop.exe" "%1" ( at my end)
hit okay and then try and reassociate the file type as you normally would.

This has been a problem for 6 weeks now, I retry when I have time and patience and use my other laptop which is also Windows 7 and runs with no problem.

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features(Later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (If this won't uninstall press on)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.

Should you get the error iTunes.exe - Entry Point Not Found after the above reinstall then copy QTMovieWin.dll from:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
and paste into:
C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes
The above paths would be for a 64-bit machine. Hopefully the same fix with the " (x86)" omitted would work on 32-bit systems with the same error.
