CS6 doesn't uninstall

I've uninstalled but it is still there but not working. All the folders and program files are still there.
Here is the number from the support advisor

I tried the cleaner took and that won't run.
My question really is how to uninstall all the components that are scatered
around. Since Uninstall didn't work, can I just delete them without messing
up the system?
My system is Windows 7 Professional SP1
Browser: Firefox 18.0.1

I tried deleting all prefs with the name Dreamweaver in the Library/preferences and in Apllication Support/adobe. Doesn’t change anything.

in this case I would download a really new trial version of your program in question (DW) and change it into a "real" version later, BUT because you said, that you "re-installed" already, so it will become a little bit more complicated. It would be necessary that you have to use "Adobe Creative Suite Cleaner Tool".
Here an advice for that (The order varies depending on your individual needs. Please read all my proposals first, so you can better choose the first step:)
1. Maybe you have to activate/deactivate, so please have a look there:

2. Sometimes, we know in the meantime, the "opm.db file" is the culprit. In this case you should delete it.
3. You did you already try "uninstalling and re-installing". Be careful with (de)installing aso. by (de)installing by your own resources. As much as I regret it and as strange as it may seem I fear it's a challenge for Adobe's Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool. Sometimes - for whatever reasons - CC doesn't "want" to work. In this case you should CC completely delete and reinstall by help of Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool. (A try to uninstall by own resources is not enough!)

Illustrator CS6 can't open and gives message "need to install the legacy Java SE6 runtime" and gives Apple link to Java program. But even after installing latest java CS6 doesn't work. What can I do? ?

Some have found that the page may turn up blank to start with, so it may be necessary to reload the page.
Others have found that it may depend on browser. Specifically, a switch from Safari has solved it in one case.

Flash CS6 doesn't work

Hello,
It has been a while since I worked with Flash, but once a year I have to edit a Flash file (with sponsors of a local event). Last summer I made the latest version of the file in Flash CS5. I've installed CS6 (the complete design&web premium package). Now I want to change the file that I made last year, but Flash CS6 doesn't work like it should. When I open the specific file, s small screen with the canvas is visible, I can't enlarge this screen, there are other windows available in the menu, but they won't show up when I activate them. I've tried to save the document as a CS5 file (I have a CS5 version on my laptop) but the file can't be opened (warning: this file has been created in Flash CS6).
When I try other menu-items, the program 'unexpectedly' stops.
In other words: I can't do anything anymore.
I've installed Flash CS6 again, but that doesn't solve the problem.
Is this a familiar issue? Can anyone help me?

update:
- i'm still using cs5.5, but now have air3.3 overlayed
- i changed the render mode in the app.xml file to "direct" instead of "gpu" and republished
the app seems to display the graphics and dynamic text ok, but the stageVideos are not showing up.
suggestions greatly appreciated, thanks...

Hello! It would be nice to have a migration script in Bridge too...
In the past, there were folders you could copy, but given the database changes, I'm not sure, I need to check first with the team.
On a Mac, it is in the collections folders in ~Library/ApplicationSupport/Adobe/Bridge CS5/Collections/
PC(XP): C:Documents and Settings\user\Application Data\Adobe\Bridge CS5\collections
VIsta/7: user/app data/roaming/Adobe/Bridge CS5/Collections

When upgrading no files are copied from the previous version. So you will have to find them and copy them over. Locations are in post above.

I bought the new Canon Eos 7d Mark 2, but Adobe CS6 doesn't read the new RAW-format. I can't find any helpful information. Does a plug in already exist? Thanks for any helpful information.

Adobe has not yet issued an updated Camera Raw plugin to read 7D Mark II Raw files.

In the meantime, use the Canon DPP software, save as TIFF then open in Photoshop.

InDesign CS6 doesn`t start. It stops at "Starting Up Service Registry" and crashes

When trying to start InDesignI see the Program starting screnn. But it stops at "Starting up Service Registry". Then i get the Windows-message "Adobe InDesign CS6 doesn't work anymore"

CS6 doesn't remember that I have a paid, licensed copy.

I bought CS6 several months ago. Only in the past few days it has started requiring that I sign in to Adobe each time I run the program AND it requires me to enter the Serial Number each time. How do I get it to remember that this is a paid, licensed installation?

I had a slightly different problem.I had downloaded a trial version of CS6 extended,then uninstalled it.I then purchased CS6 (Photoshop) standalone basic (no 3D as in extended).This week, I get a notification (no specific note for CS6 or CS6 extended) so I download it.My CS6 wouldn't work, because Adobe thougght I had CS6 extended (expired) and asked me to pay for a license.I spent 10 minutes on Chat Line and finally was told to just type in my license again.
A similar problem seems to be happening throught these "discussions", if you look for a similar problem.
It would be nice to hear from Adobe that someone erred and now the registration database and notification database are now in harmony and the problem will not occur in the future. - I doubt it though!

This comes up repeatedly, so you may want to do a forum search.
In a nutshell:
If you wanted to remove CS5, you should have done so before installing CS6. The CS5 uninstaller is very likely to mess with and destroy the CS6 installation.
Your best bet now is to use the CS6 uninstaller and uninstall CS6 first, then use the CS5 uninstaller to uninstall CS5, then run the Adobe CSClean script (downloadable from the Adobe site), and finally install CS6 again.
All adobe updaters are FULL installers and do not need a previously installed version to work. When they don't find a prior version installed, they will simply prompt you for the old serial number as well as the new one.

Spacebar in CS6 doesn't work and hotkeys are shifty

I just recently downloaded CS6 from the creative cloud, the spacebar in CS6 doesn't work and switching cursor settings (brush, handtool, select all, move etc...) with the keyboard causes the program to pause for 1-2 seconds before the mouse will move again.
This is really obnoxious and ruins any workflow you want to have...
OH and I called Adobe support but that was a big FN' mistake.... most aggravating process and they are too damn skeptical about if you own the software or not!
Has anyone had issues w/ this?

You can try trashing your prefs (see Replace Your Preferences), but I don't think that's the problem, nor is there a general problem with book page numbering in CS6, so it's something that you've set incorrectly, or a step you've missed. Did you update the numbering after adding the files?

That is not a configuration that After Effects CS6 will use for the GPU acceleration of the ray-traced 3D renderer.

The Quadro K5000 was added to the whitelist for the GPU acceleration of the ray-traced 3D renderer in After Effects CC (12.0).

Photoshop CC & CS6 doesn't appear in Windows Add/Remove programs

I have 2 versions of Photoshop on my Windows 7 Pro system. CS6 I own outright and I subscribe to CC as part of a larger suite from Adobe. I prefer CS6 and have been trying to associate .TIF files to CS6, but it won't let me. It keeps reverting to CC, no matter what I do. I decided to uninstall CC (even tho I'm paying a monthly fee for it), but the programs do not appear in Windows Add/Remove programs screen. In a search of the registry, I find HKLM/Software/Microsoft/Windows/Current Version/Uninstall a very long list of the program available for uninstall, and buried in some obscure Microsoft VC headings are some Adobe programs. There are no uninstallers in the Adobe program directories, so I can't uninstall these no matter what I try. Neither Dreamweaver or Flash appear in Add/remove either. Is this natural? Is there some problem I'm not aware of? Thanks for any help and info.

Thank you. That solved that problem. I still can't get Windows 7 to associate TIF files to Photoshop. It's associated to it in Bridge, but when I try in Windows control panel, the file shows as being associated to Paint. When I try to change it, Photoshop is not even on the list of available programs. When I Browse to the directory and click Photoshop.exe, nothing happens. The association doesn't change and Photoshop does not appear as a choice. So I have no idea what to try next.

CS6 doesn't play nice.

Creative Cloud installed on test machine (Mac 10.7.3 with CS5 installed). Photoshop CS6 worked fine, but no other CS6 program would launch, period.
45 minutes on support and I'm told to uninstall all of CS6 (I'd already done that and reinstalled), create a new admin user on my machine(s) and reinstall there (um, that's not a good answer). Does this seem like an adequate workflow to you? Switching from one user to another, or taking the days it would take to transfer all the user preferences, email accounts, etc. over to a new user! Yeah, me either. Cancelling CS6 until it's absolutely necessary for us to switch. Buh bye!

Sorry to hear it didn't work out for you. Testing in a new user account is common troubleshooting step is not unique to CS6 or Creative Cloud. You wouldn't want to move everything over to a new account unless you determined that the launch issue was somehow specifically related to your original user account.
