CS6: Is there anyway hear the streaming audio when you press " " and " "?

Hey, I was wondering if there was a way for me to be able to hear my audio when I press "<" and ">" (skip frames)
It would benifit me when I'm doing lip syncing. Is there anyway to enable audio playing?
Also this is not a streaming audio question, it works just fine in the timeline. Just no audio plays when I press "<' and ">"

    This is something I've been wondering.     I am currently monitoring how much this eats up my battery charge. On a normal day, after an overnight charge, I would probably still have 30%-40% left when I leave work in the evening. Today, I was down to 48% by lunchtime, where I've usually got a good 60-70% left... Might have to turn email notifications off on lock screen until it's possible to have them appearing in the list without flashing me...

  • Do not duplicate the graphic style when you copy and paste a feature

    I rely heavily on the use of graphic styles.  However, when I copy and paste a feature that has a graphic style assigned to it, a duplicate of the graphic style is created.  I sometimes end up with a large number of these duplicate graphic styles that I have to trash.  This does not happen with the selection tool+alt shortcut for copying.  However, I can't use this shortcut when I want to paste in front or paste in back, which is the case at least half the time.

    Only advice I can offer is Option Left cursor, then right cursor, to make an exact copy in same position.
    This will give you a clone as the action does form the previosu poster, but unfortunately no oslution for when you want to target layers.
    If anyone else has any input on this here is how to reproduc:
    New document, create a graphic style (eg: fill yellow, stroke none) and save
    Close the document
    Open the document
    copy and paste the element with the graphic style, and with every paste multiplies faster than a tribble on Star Trek
    I played with changing the clipboard options, no luck. Exists on CS4 Mac, CS5 Mac & PC, might go back as far as graphic styles do.

    It depends on the noise you are hearing, some of the 7200 RPM drives do make a slight noise, but if it is a clicking noise, then you need to get it serviced

    Does hte iPhone say headphones when you adjust the volume, even when they aren't connected?

    Just want to build a PC-Based control network using CAN bus (Ethernet not considered).The system is separated two parts , one is the front unit(FU), and the other is the centeral unit(CU). FU performs dialing-up number to the CU , and play the stream audio media data come from CU, CU monitor the telephone call activated from FU's user , send rm or mp3 data to the FU . I'd like to know if CAN bus could realize this function？ if it can , which hardware must be supplied ? Is there any suggestion that not use PBX to realize the voice (telphone) communication ? Please give an solution , your advise is greatly appreciated . Thanks.

    Hi David,
    the CAN protocol essentially just gives you the ability to transfer (broadcast) up to eight data bytes across the network at a maximum data rate of 1 Mbit/s.
    There are so-called higher level (or layer) protocols that further specify the data exchange between a data producer can the consumer (DeviceNet, CANopen, etc.).
    If your application is not tied to any of those protocols, that means you have the freedom to design all (CAN) nodes of your network, you can implement your own protocol based on the eight data bytes and the arbitration ID CAN offers.
    For more information on the CAN protocol, take a look at appendix B of the NI-CAN Hardware and Software Manual, or visit the web site of CAN in Automation (CiA).
    For your particular application you would need a CAN port on both the FU and the CU (preferably high-speed physical layer) and a PCI interface CAN card for you development.

    Make sure all of the videos used in the project that is having that problem are from the same event. If they are from multiple events, move them all into one event.

    I understand you are having issues with sound output on your iPhone 4S. For troubleshooting steps, the following article provides the best information:

    1. Verify that there is nothing plugged in to the headset jack, including headsets, headphones, or adapters.
    2. Make sure the Ring/Silent switch is not switched to silent.
    3. While on the Home screen, adjust the volume buttons. If you see the icon below, indicating that headphones are attached, there may be debris or an object lodged in the headset jack:
    4. Check the headset jack. If there is an object lodged in the headset jack that is not easily removed, have the iPhone serviced to remove object.
    5. For Original iPhone: If there is light debris, such as lint, in the headset jack, try connecting a pair of headphones to the headset jack and then remove the headphones. Repeat this several times to remove the debris.
    6. If you have installed a protective film on the display, either ensure that the receiver is not covered or remove the film completely.
    7. Check the receiver mesh (which is on the top front of the device, above the display). If it appears blocked, use a clean, small, dry, soft-bristled brush to carefully and gently brush away any debris.
    8. If you have paired with a Bluetooth headset that is nearby, either use the headset or turn Bluetooth off (choose Settings > General > Bluetooth).
    9. Restart the iPhone.
    10. If restarting the iPhone doesn't resolve the issue, try restoring the device.
