CS6 master collection Cross OS compatibility
Just bought the CS6 master collection (student edition). Problem is, I've got a Mac, and the box says windows (on only one side in small print ) Can you install/activate the Windows version of this software on a Mac with the disc from the Windows version? I know the version of PS elements that was bundled with my Wacom tablet could be installed on either PC or Mac; just not sure if that's the case here, since the box says windows. Looking to get some clear answers before I lose almost $1k attempting this(campus store won't return opened Software).
You need the Mac version for a Mac installation, though you could use a Windows emulation program like Bootcamp. If you can return it and get the Mac version, you probably should. Since it is CS6, if you cannot return it you can still qualify to swap platforms for it. See the following...

Error Install Adobe CS6 Master Collection on Windows 8
So I had two errors while installing Adobe CS6 MC on Windows 8. The first was a slew of OS Requirement Not Met Errors and was able to resolve this by running the setup in Compatibility Mode as Windows 7. However, the second error is persisting and I can not resolve this. I have approx 48 "ERROR: DW062: Unable to locate folder for token SharedDocuments". I am sure this is related to the fact that, using the move feature in Windows 8, I moved the Public folder to my D drive (to save room on the SSD). All other programs install properly. How can I resolve this?

Urgent Support Request! - Adobe CS6 Master Collection - Please Insert Disk
Our company has downloaded Adobe CS6 Master Collection for deployment on our master image this year.
When attempting to install using the files that we downloaded and ran off the hard drive the set up says "Please Insert Disk", this shouldn't be necessary as I have all the required files to install on my computer already.
I need a solution quickly to this as I have to get this master image completed and deployed within the next week or two and I have hundreds of machines to do it on.
It is a clean install and therefore there are no compatibility issues with previous programs, I have tried looking for the installs of the individual programs themselves in the folders to no avail, I had a similar problem with Autodesk products which I solved by installing the trial version then upgrading it to the full version immediately after install. I have not tried that with this problem yet as I'm sure there is a more efficient way to solve the issue. At least I hope there is. Please get back to me as soon as possible with this because I'm required to get this sorted within a very tight deadline.Hello Hans,

Does Creative Suite cs6 Master Collection V6 Windows work with Windows 8 OS
I would like to purchase the Creative suite cs6 master collection V6 for windows, will this software work with windows 8 operating system. In system requirements it only state's windows 7 but I have heard that some software will still work with windows 8 also. Does anyone know if it will work with windows 8? I would like to confirm this before I order, as it is rather an expensive program.

AAMEE 3.1 is for CS6 Suite, so should be good for all CS6

Problem with CS6 Master collection on iMac
Hi .
The installer for CS6 Master Collection (Site Licence) will not accept the serial no on a iMac
I have run the adobe cleaner and cleared all Adobe products off the mac.
I have run ONYX and fixed all it could fix re permissions etc and HD problems (none)
The OS version is 10.6.8 and latest updates as of yesterday.
The install and serial no work fine on all other 19 Macs same configuration
There are no adobe products showing up in applications or Utilities
Network connection is fine.

Recently when opening up Photoshop, my Adobe CS6 Master Collection pops up saying there's some kind of offer going on the Creative Cloud. For awhile I was just able to close out of it and go about my business on Photoshop, but now it's not allowing me to open Photoshop unless I sign up/pay. I'm quite confused? I really NEED to have access to Photoshop ASAP.

I've downloaded CS6 Master Collection but only see The Photoshop icon. I can't seem to find the other programs, except on "uninstall programs" How do I open and run the others?

Cannot install CS6 Master Collection on windows 7 - 64 bit
As the title implies, I have several times tried installing the Master Collection - CS6 on my windows 7 - 64 bit machine at home and after a couple minutes, it simply erros out. I have even downloaded the trials for several of the applications and they too won't install. My download came directly from the Adobe Licensing site.

I have been onto support for 2.5 hours yesterday but it didnt work what they told me to do. CS6 seems to install but the last screen says that only flash builder and acrobat installed and all the others had trouble installling.

CS6 Master Collection on Macbook running Windows 8.1 in Parallels

I have a licensed Windows version of Adobe CS6 Master Collection which runs happily on my Windows 7 PC. I have recently purchased a Macbook Pro Retina (latest model, 16GB RAM, 2.3 GHz Intel Core i7 processor, OS X 10.9.2), and have installed the Windows 8.1 OS as a Parallels 9 virtual machine.
The CS6 Master Collection installed OK, applied all software updates OK, completed online activation OK, all programmes launch OK.
BUT... when I run any of the CS6 applications, I get prompted to sign in to Adobe to register the product. When I enter the correct Adobe ID and password, I am advised that the ID and password do not match, and that my software will no longer work after seven days (now down to five days).
I know that the ID and password are correct, as I can log in to my Adobe account through a web browser using the same credentials.
The CS6 software IS registered already. I registered it immediately after first purchasing it on 18-May-2012.
I had a LONG online chat session with Adobe Support about this issue. They confirmed all of the above, but eventually said that they won't support installation of Master Suite CS6 on a virtual PC, and suggested I try here on the Adobe Communities Forum. So here I am.
Has anyone else encountered this problem with registering CS6 s/w under Parallels 9? Any solutions or suggestions?Hi Bob. How do I install the cs6 master collection on an iMac?
I have an adobe cs6 master collection disc. I tried installing it on my iMac and all I see is a bunch of weird folders with names like styles, templates, textures, legal, library, main. I don't see where the actual Adobe programs to install are. I followed the instructions to get the serial number, but I don't even see where I am supposed to enter the serial number. Can anybody help me?
