1) If I purchase the boxed version internally or externally, will I also get a downloadable version?
2) Can I have multiple licenses to use software on more computers? For example, if I purchase Photoshop CS6, and then purchase Master Collection CS6 (which includes Photoshop CS6), will I then be able to use Photoshop CS6 on 4 computers instead of 2?
3) Is the Master Collection Student and Teacher edition still sold in the UK at adobe.com, and if so, where? If it must be purchased externally, are there any differences in product registration/licensing/etc. that one should be aware of?

1) It is not apparent to me what you mean between internally and externally. If you purchase the box version, which is no different than any other version, that is all you get. You could have downloaded the trial version first and then used the serial number from the box to activate it to full use. At this time, the CS6 software is downloadable via a couple of resources and is likely to remain downloadable as the trial version.
2) For a single license you are allowed to install and activate one two machines, of which only one can be used at any given time for any one of the applications installed under that license. So if you are using Photoshop CS6 as a standalone on one of the two machines, it cannot be used on the other at the same time. If you purchase two licenses, you can "use" the software on two different machines at the same time, and it is possible you could have the different installations on four different machines, but only two could have the same licensed/activated installation.
3) I cannot answer with any certainty as far as what's available where. Here are some links that might or might not be useful for you:

Downloading CS6 Master Collection

Hi,
I am planning to install Adobe CS6 Master Collection (CS6MC) onto a Parallels 9 Windows 8.1 x64 virtual enviroment. This will be the second install of CS6MC. This first is on a Windows 8.1 desktop computer. As far as I have read, I can install CS6MC onto two computers.
However, before I do this I have a few questions I hope someon can help me with.
Firstly, could someone just confirm that I can install this CS6MC onto 2 computers.
Secondly if I download a CS6MC from Adobe, will all (or most) updates released to date be included with this downloaded version, or will I have to download all the updates once I have installed the package? I still have the DVD of CS6MC, and if the version I will download is the same as the one I have on the DVD, I may as well istall from the DVD.
Lastly, how will changing the hardware (CPU, Graphics card, etc) on my desktop computer affect my install count of Adobe CS6MC. How would I be able to sort out any activation issues casued by these hardware upgrades?

1. yes, you can install and activate on two computers concurrently. both should not be used at any one time and both to be used by you.
2. no, i don't think the updates will be rolled into the latest download but i'm not sure about that.
3. changing your graphics card won't change your install count but changing your hd or cpu will. you can always contact adobe support to reset your activation count if you're unable to deactivate yourself, http://www.adobe.com/support/chat/ivrchat.html

File Extension Always Changes from .mp4 to .m4z in Media Encoder CS6 Master Collection

Hello,
I am a noob to Adobe products, but I am familiar with video encoding and have been making movies on the computer for over a decade. I have made several attempts to encode from .wmv to .mp4, but both Media Encoder as well as Premiere creates the output with the .m4v extension. I am using the H.264 Main, with the MP4 Standard selected in the multiplexer. I have watched several video tutorials from YouTube on how to make sure I format properly for YouTube in MP4, but I would prefer my file extension to be .mp4 and NOT .m4v. The name is specified as "video.mp4" but it always comes out as "video.m4v".
I am using the full version (not a trial) of Adobe Creative Suite CS6 Master Collection, Student and Teacher Addition.
Windows 7 64-bit
Before I give all my other pertinent details, or post screen shots (if that is possible), I thought there might be a simple solution.
Can anyone help me?

I will have to try keeping the Export Audio box checked. I am having the same .m4v problem when trying to save as mp4, and my videos have no audio (screen capture tutorials) so I chose not to export the audio. I will see if keeping the box checked works.
I am using Windows 7 64-bit, CS6 Master Collection Student Teacher; I just downloaded the full version (paid for) a couple of days ago, so apparently, this is still a bug.
I had posted this same type of question earlier today, now I found this forum. I don't know if the problem was there before the update because I just bought my Adobe products the other day (November 10, 2012) and installed the updates prior to even opening any single one of the Adobe programs. Oddly enough, Handbrake does a fine job, so I am using that until I figure out the problem with AME.
UPDATE:
YES! Keeping that Export Audio box checked resolved the problem. What I did was (since there was no audio in the original) just take the audio settings down to the lowest possible quality so as to save on file size output.

Hi I was wonder can I still purchase Adobe CS6 Master Collection Student and Teacher Edition? As I am a student and I don't have the money to purchase the the full software for 2 grand. Also I don't want to get the creative cloud as I don't want to be paying say 250 dollars a year for the software.
Another question is how many devices can I have the software on? As I have a desktop which I will use for heavy work, and a laptop for light work.

I purchased a download copy of Adobe CS6 Master Collection and am wondering now if it is legit. It's instructions go like this.
Download from mediafire.com something called "Adobe CS6 Licence PREACTIVATION.rar"
Unpack it and run "Adobe CS6 Licence PREACTIVATION.exe"
Log onto Adobe.com and sign in using the userid [email protected] and the password included in the purchase
Go to Download CS6 products
Download the two files for CS6
Run the smaller of the two files to install the collection
When asked for a serial number enter "1325-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-3266" (obviously the "x"s were numbers)
A dialog appear during the install containing a links saying "Click on Later and Install CS6". Select it
Complete the installation
Start Photoshop
A dialog saying "Having trouble connecting to the Internet" appears. Click on the offline activation "Generate Request Code" link
Take the generated request code and send it to an e-mail address in Turkey.
The e-mail address in Turkey would reply with the response code which I could then enter into Photoshop
Does this seem legit or have I been scammed?

Hi there. I'm sure the question has already been asked...but I can't seem to find the best answer to following question.
Do I need to uninstall my Adobe CS6 Master Collection off my MacBookPro? OR will AdobeCC automatically detect that I already have the software and will update accordingly?
I'm trying to avoid having multiple versions of software on my machine. Any guidance would be appreciated.

You can install CC on top of Master Collection as there wont be any conflicts for the same . If you wish you can remove the previous version to save some space in your computer.

Upgrade CS6 Design Premium to CS6 Master Collection?

Why can I upgrade CS5 or CS5.5 Design Premium to CS6 Master Collection, but not CS6 Design Premium? Is there really no upgrade path within the same version?
One of my new designers needs to do video production work. I'd rather pay $1,049 to upgrade his suite instead of $999 to buy the standalone After Effects application. Any chance there is actually an upgrade path, just not one that appears in the upgrade panel?

Follow-up question: the new designer has a straight purchase of CS6 Design Premium but my existing designers have upgrades from CS5 or CS5.5. Is it possible to purchase a CS5.5 upgrade and have him 'swap' serial numbers with another designer on my team without creating all sorts of conflicts, re-installs, calls to Adobe support, etc.?

Problem with CS6 Master collection on iMac

The installer for CS6 Master Collection (Site Licence) will not accept the serial no on a iMac
I have run the adobe cleaner and cleared all Adobe products off the mac.
I have run ONYX and fixed all it could fix re permissions etc and HD problems (none)
The OS version is 10.6.8 and latest updates as of yesterday.
The install and serial no work fine on all other 19 Macs same configuration
There are no adobe products showing up in applications or Utilities
Network connection is fine.
Any suggestions please ?

Cannot install CS6 Master Collection on windows 7 - 64 bit

As the title implies, I have several times tried installing the Master Collection - CS6 on my windows 7 - 64 bit machine at home and after a couple minutes, it simply erros out. I have even downloaded the trials for several of the applications and they too won't install. My download came directly from the Adobe Licensing site.

Hey, did you sort it out in the end?
I have been onto support for 2.5 hours yesterday but it didnt work what they told me to do. CS6 seems to install but the last screen says that only flash builder and acrobat installed and all the others had trouble installling.
Im gonna try them again today. My error message is below....
