CS6 mushes fields with 486 source
This is my first post in this forum. Hope it hasn't been addressed already.
When I bring a D1 NTSC 720x486 source movie into En CS6, the resulting DVD is field-squished, and blurry. I infer that Encore is scaling the 486 vertical lines into the 480 raster.
This didn't happen in Encore CS5 or CS5.5.
This is one of the reasons I started using Encore over Apple DVD Studio Pro, which required a 720x480 source file, or I'd get the same results. Encore on Windows had the same issue. I had to re-render my sources in Ae, cropping off the extra six vertical lines and shifting the image up one pixel (to preserve the correct field order), and going down a generation (while taking extra time), in order to get the proper result.
This is, of course, unsatisfactory.
Encore CS5.5. Mac used to just ignore or crop the extra six lines, and produce a stunning looking DVD with the correct field order.
Now it appears that Adobe has re-introduced this sad behavior back into En CS6 on the Mac.
I tested this by using the same source in a CS5.5 version of Encore, and got a brilliant looking DVD. It appears to be an issue with CS6.
Can anybody confirm?

Field order is lower first, which is interpreted correctly by Encore.
I failed to mention that I booted into 10.7.4 and 10.6.8 and got bad DVDs from CS6 both times. I don't really think that has anything to do with this issue, as it seems pretty clear to me that the problem is Encore Mac CS6, regardless of the OS.
I also said "Encore CS5.5. used to just ignore or crop the extra six lines." Of course, it still does, and I was able to use it to finish the job.

Has to mapped to Idoc Str E1EDK14-Orgid.
E.g Mapping:
So when ShopNo will mapped to E1EDK14-Orgid the default value should be "MOP" & E1EDK14-Qualf should be 019
and when OrderType will be mapped to E1EDK14-Orgid the default value should be "STD" & E1EDK14-Qualf should be 012
So I tried of using node "UseOneAsMany".....but there I cant define the vaule of field orgid, and seconly how to specify the values of field Qualf?
Do i need to write my own specify function ? or I can sovle this issue using standard avaiable functions ?

I am facing following problem... when I try to duplicate the segment and do mapping....... and then when I save, I got following error msg:
The source or target structure has been changed or could not be found in the Integration Repository. The mapping definition contains elements or attributes that do not exist in the changed structure. The relevant entries will be deleted

in other words, when I do duplicate it creates me the segment, but when I save it, it gets disappered .........

Camparing file name with a value of the field in the source

I have a file sender. I need to compare the file name with the value of a field in the source and then map to the target.
For example:

the name of the file would be 20071103. i need to check this file name with value in 'date' field , if its true then we need to map it to target

Here is the reason i need to do this:
The data is loaded by DTP in process chain. Overlaping requests are deleted. But, iIn some cases requests with the same selection options need not to be deleted. My idea was to change selection options in Manage(infocube) with Abap program without changing selection options in DTP filter, so that the system would not recognize requests as "overlaping requests".
So, where is the information about shown in the field Selection Options is stored? In which tables?

No I want to add the gaps between the months...
Is it possible to count the following gaps between the different rows...?

This adds all following fields cumulative from beginning to current_row. But I need this adding only for the following gaps... then start with countin by 0.
I need only the following like in the example on top. Maybe is there an other function like decode to count only the following gaps...!?

Hi i found the Java Sun tutorial at http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/uiswing/components/slider.html very useful, and it tells how to create one Formatted Text Field with a Slider - however i need to create Formatted Text Field for multiple Sliders in one GUI, how do i do this?

I am trying to upload master data through LSMW through Standard Batch/Direct Input but when i am executing the step READ DATA it is throwing me error as

Please use meaningfull subject titlesHi Ripel,
When you are assinging a file if it has field names in first row then select "Field names at Start of file", if not names then uncheck the box at "File Structure".
If fields are using, then check the tabulator in file and Uncheck the "Field order matches Source structure Definition."

I have followed the steps you have mentioned in the post.
1) Create Business Object Extension.
2) Add the Custom Field with Type " LANGUAGEINDEPENDENT_EXTENDED_Text".
3) Enhance the Screen and Add into the Header section of the COD_TI screen.
I have successfully entered the unrestricted character into that field.
But I want to add that custom field into the Standard Data Source or Standard Report.
1) Is it possible to add custom field under the Standard Data Source or Report Using SDK?
2) Is it Possible to display the 1000 character length on the Report field?
3) Is it possible to display the created extension field under the report / data source using SDK?

Traversal field in XML Source of LiveCycle Designer files
Can someone explain to me how the Traversal field
in XML Source relates to the tab order for an entire PDF form? Like in my form i have the following, but both have 70 in them, but different names (field vs draw), but i dont know how that relates to the overall tab order of the entire PDF.

traversal>It tells where to tab to next - those are attached to a field and point to the next field to go to.
#field[70] and #draw[70] are field names in your form. I think those tags only show up if you start using custom tabbing order.
Something looks odd though - did you name your fields with "#" in front? I might be wrong but that may cause problems for some things (not tabbing per se) - someone else here can hopefully correct me or not. -

When i have a value to map there is no problem, only when we have the source message without the element we map the problem occurs. is there an attribut to be set or something else?

From what I understand, there is a target field which is mandatory.
If the source field that is mapped to this field exixts, then there is no problem.
But when the source field doesn;t exists, then there is a problem. Right?
YOu can use the node function mapWithDefault for your requirement.

Change the field attribute of a field in data source - 0CRM_SALES_ACT_1

I have a data source named 0CRM_SALES_ACT_1 in CRM system.
The fields PLANNED_TS_FROM and PLANNED_TS_TO are hidden fields i.e. the field attribute is 'A' - Field in OLTP and BW Hidden by SAP.
Following are my doubts:
1. Whether the values of these fields will be extracted into BW or it will not be?
2. How do I change the fields attribute value of these fields(its standard data source)?
3. Is there any SAP note to do this ?
4. If the above doesn't exisits, then should I go for a append structure to the standard data source?

U can unhide ur fields in RSA6 and then replicate the datasource in BW. These fileds will come in BW.
You cant change the attribute value for STD DSO.
No SAP note for the same.
You can append the datasource with the new fields with the attribute you want and hide the std. fields then goto BW and replicate it. You can then map it with the BW fields as you want.

I have a data for 2 years now I am enhancing the data source how can I populated the new field with historic data.Is it by
1)deleting all the data in BW side and the doing an init then setting up a regular delta
2)running a repair full request with selection condition.
or is there any other option available? which is the best scenario to load these historic data?

I think your datasource is already in production, and you want to data only from today onwards for enhanced fields, i.e. historical data is not required for enhanced fields..
1.Fix ECC down time for 20 to 30 munities
2. Keep all objects on Qty system in ECC and BW.
3.Run Delta laods in BW for 2 to 3 times.So with this step you can clear SMQ1 and RSA7. Check the entries in RSA7, if it is ZERO then it is fine.
4. Move DS from ECC Qty to ECC PROD .
5. Replicate in BW.
6. Move all BW objects from BW Qty to BW Prod.
7. Delete Init load in InfoPackage level (Not in ODS/CUbe).
8.Load Init without DataTransfer.
9.Then Run Delta.
10. Next day on wards deltas will come as usual.
If you need Historical data also.
1.Delete data in Cube.
2.Fix Down Time and load Init then Delta.

Error while adding a custom field with Input help via AET

I need to add two custom field under Service orders at Item level in component BT140I_SRVP.
One field is required to have the input search help f4 and autopopulates the second field
I am able to add one field(not requiring help) successfully through AET .
I have created one Zsearch_help in se11 and its successfully running and Autopopulating seocnd field while I am testing it
While adding second field through AET,I need to enter following details as -
field label,search relevant ,serach help etc.
When I type the name of my 'Zsearch_help' against field search help it gives me following error
'Search help is not compatible'.
Secondly,not getting getter and setter methods for the attrributes in BTAdminI.
Last,please tell me if i create zhelp and activate it,would it automatically appear in the list on AETwhile assiging it to input field?
Please help me out.Kindly be detailed as I am new to SAP CRM.

Help, please - I need a box to pop-up when user hovers over a field with their mouse??
I created a form with several drop-down fields / questions. I would like to create a box that pops up when the person who is filling out the form hovers over the question/ field with his or her mouse. The box would contain additional information about the question that the person might consider before they select the answer. I don't want to clutter the form (and not all form-filler-outers will want or need to see the additional information) so I want it to pop up when the person hovers over the question with their mouse.
Can someone provide some help with how I can do this?

To follow on from radzmar, here is a summary of the features that are available/restricted depending on how you deploy your form.
There are two ways to apply Reader rights, one is using Acrobat Standard (v9) or Acrobat Professional (v8). The other is using an Adobe server product called LiveCycle Reader Extensions ES2.
You don't need script to apply the Reader rights to your form. Once you have applied the rights, users with Reader will be able to save the data in the form, however there may still be other restrictions in place, like attaching documents to the form or exporting XML data.
