CS6 PDF Help file?

I've looked for an Audition CS6 PDF help file and could not find one anywhere.
Does anyone know if one is available?
Thank you.
Ted

  • Where can I find PDF Help files for CS5?

I have CS5 Design Standard ( without extended Photoshop) and I need to get the PDF help files for the component applications.  I have tried entering CS5 Help Files and variations of that theme in the search box here at Adobe forums  and get many things about CS6 and no Help files for CS5. The search tool here should be googleized or something.  2many adds for new things 2 buy not enough help for what you already bought.

    Hi,
Here's another link for Ps CS5 PDF help:

  • Cannot find CS6 offline help file

    Hi,
When I try to opne the Dreamweaver CS6 help file by clicking on help in the help menu or F1 Dreamweaver opens the site http://helpx.adobe.com/de/dreamweaver/topics.html but not the offline help file. I can see that the Adobe help applcation gets started but it terminates after a few seconds. How can I open the offline CS6 help file? Why idoes Adobe help application terminates after a few seconds? Thank you for your help.
    Regards

The answer above is not quite what the first post asked.
In many parts of CS6 - like setting up a site for instance, there is a help button that does not work if you are offline. Local internet services in my part of the world are rubbish at best and hopeless at worst, so it is not always possible to get on line help. This does not help the working day at all.
I have an installation of CS5.5 and when I click on a help link within the program, it finds my offline help files and displays the correct help for the topic.
I just installed CS6 for the first time on a new PC expecting the same. There appears to be no offline help available, nor can I see any way to install it.
After a major search operation on the adobe website, I did find two pdf help files for CS5, one of which has some help for CS6, but not a lot, and another that contains the same help  + 20 or so pages for the creative cloud version, which is of no use to me. For a program that cost a vast amount to purchase, removing the built in help is not what I expected, though I am not at all surprised.
So is there a way to set up offline help without having the pdf file always open just in case? Or are we stuck with a no help system?

  • Diosappearance of CS6 PDF Help Downloads

The updated versions of many of the PDF Help file downloads supposedly for CS6 are now actually those for CC - Premiere, AME, Encore, and Photoshop are all now faulty.  The Audition and Bridge downloads cover both CS6 and CC.  I do not know about many of the others as they are not of interest to me.
Can the correct CS6 downloads be replaced, please, and separate downloads for  CC be added?

There is an error in the f aq about the location of the Organizer 10 pdf help file.

It points to the Organizer 9 help file.
The true location can be found by using the new Help hub for Photoshop Elements: http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-elements.html

  • Is there a way to save InDesign CS6's help files to hard drive for access off-line?

I can't figure out how to do this. I often take my laptop where there is no internet or weak internet. Help doesn't work when I'm there. Surely there's a way to do this, right? How?
I'm using the Middle Eastern version 8.0.2 (Hebrew-English). I need the help in English.
    Thanks!

You're right, of course. Probably most things are the same. Nonetheless I did find the CS6 Help File PDF here: https://web.archive.org/web/20130511110603/http://helpx.adobe.com/pdf/indesign_reference.p df.
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. If I hadn't had the link you originally sent, I'd not have found this link to old CS6 help.

  • Where can I get PDF help files for Oracle9i?

In Oracle8 and Oracle8i, there were PDF documentation files on the install CDs for Oracle8i Reference, Administrators Guide, SQL Reference, SQL*Plus, etc., etc. Are these available anywhere for Oracle9i? I didn't see any documentation option on the download site or on the CD (except for the smaller subset of configuration help files, but I am looking for the larger reference books mentioned before).
    Thanks!

Rats!  Now you're providing them with a way out.
Regardless of what they may or may not have meant, it's unconscionable of them to ship a major release without thorough documentation.
Click on any of the turkeys.  You'll see more action there than the Adobe documentation group has shown in years.

  • CS6 Help file link wanted

Anyone got a link to the Premiere CS6 downloadable Help file ( pdf)  yet?

    leslie wand wrote:
    thank you kevin. much appreciated.
@ jeff - f1 might work for you, but it certainly doesn't work for me. i get taken to a webpage (on line) that tells me what's new in cs6 and how to work in 5.5!
    prem - http://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/topics.html
    ps - http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/topics.html
    ae - http://helpx.adobe.com/after-effects.html
none of which are of any real use as serious help - and especially not as they're on line, which my edit pc rarely is!
These are "Topic Pages" for Help. You can think of these pages as the Table of Contents.
What's new and links to past versions of Help is part of Help. I'm sorry that confused you.
Scroll down a bit to see all the topics. Click a link, you get taken to that specific topic.
BTW, when I click F1 for Help in After Effects, I get the proper link, not the one you just linked to.
If you don't think this is "serious" Help, I'm sorry you feel that way. I write the Help, so feel free to air out any criticisms to me, and I'll try my best to address them.
I apologize for not having the PDF ready on ship day. This was a decision I had no control over. Despite my heavy lobbying (on behalf of users like yourself) the new Help system had more pressing technical challenges for our production team.
The good news is the PDF looks good with the bonus of having navigation on every page in the form of bookmarks. It can be updated as often as I like too.
Just a bit more patience is required, as we have almost completed testing it.

  • Where Can I Download Offline Help Files for Creative Cloud?

The heading says it all. I am not always connected to the internet and, in any event, I find the on-line help annoying and tedious. I can only find PDF help files for CS4, where can I get them for CS6?

That is not off-line help, it is simply a PDF file full of links to on-line resources. It is next to useless. I want to be able to look at teh help document and get answers to questions, not links to answers.

  • Embed video in Help files

Is it allowed to embed video in Help files? My products always ships with detailed Help files where is explained my intent and purpose of publication and best practices how to use product. Since people like video instructions, I want to provide video at the end of written tutorial in PDF help files.

This state of affairs is indeed disappointing! It seems that we are back in the days of external players that could be incompatible, even if all are produced by Adobe.
    Example:
On a MacBook (10.5.8), where I can view the all PDFs and their integrated videos successfully with Adobe Reader 9.4.
With Adobe Reader 10.1.4 on the same Mac, some videos display successfully; other videos are displayed initially, then stop unexpectedly.
If I update Reader to 10.1.7 (latest version available for Mac OS10.5.8), none of the videos display, and I get a message that I need to install Flash.
Installing Flash with the link provided in the special yellow bar at the top area of Reader fails consistently, probably because the Flash player pointed to is not compatible with Mac OS 10.5.8.
Native/smooth support for media in Reader, anyone?
