CS6 Photoshop Download Problems?

Trying to download Photoshop CS6 from the cloud and I keep getting an error message "The download appears corrupted" (-60). Is there a solution?

As Mylenium says a different browser sometimes cures the problem. So if using Firefox try Internet Explorer.

Unresolved CS6 photoshop download failure!!

I pay a subscription for creative cloud. Why can't I download CS6 Photoshop. I have spent the last two days installing and uninstalling, trying this trying that. I need to use it!! I have tried everything including a long hopeless conversation with an online support person who just guided me through the steps I had already tried. Frustrating is not the word!! I feel like Adobe are laughing all the way to the bank. I'll be laughing all the way to a psychiactric ward if I don't get this sorted out!

OK Adobe support have successfully sorted this out now. Looking at my case file he suggested that I delete a profiles folder within my library folder on my Mac. I did delete the folder and tried the install again. This time no 'exit 6' error message and the application has opened OK.

If all else fails you can always download the trial version and use your serial number to activate it to full use...

Adobe CS6 Design Download Problem

I have purchased Adobe CS6 Design and Web Premium for Windows. I was able to download some but not all of the programs. I receive an Adobe window message to indicate thatPhotoshop, InDesign and Flash Professional could not successful be downloaded. It contained this error summary.
I would appreciate any help that may be provided.

Cs6 purchase download problems windows 7

first of all i could not download the akamai installers . it kept telling me i needed to retry a different location.
i eventually downloaded two files with the alternate method, but cannont find installation instructions.
I decided to install the first one that arrived, the larger file 7Z setup, which took a long time.
then i tried teh phtosohop cs6 EXE file and i get an error that says all parts should be in the same folder. download the other parts. what other parts?
i did have cs6 beta installed but uninstalled it from the control panel first.
should i uninstall what i jsut installed , if i can figure out what it actually was.
i found a shortcut but it opens the beta that i uninstalled. how can that be?

i tried looking in the logs and didnt find anything with that extension except for cs5. i have an uninstall folder, that has data and other things, none of that extension.
There is also a folder with a long number ending in ff. inside is the setup, payloads , resources, plus a couple of dlls.. adobe personalization and asneu.
I will try to uninstall from the control panel and start over.
i am confused as to which one to install first. i received two folders, one says adobe cs6.exe and inside the large folder it haas the setup. i installed the setup.exe.
this did not download the same as the desktop, nor did it install the same.. i did not have the beta installed on teh desktop.
PROBLEM SOLVED
it had to do with the alternativce download.. there were no instructions anywhere than said i had to put both files in teh same folder and install the second file first.. that is just not logical to isntall teh second file first.
in effect i had only installed half the program. the other half must have picked up old beta leftovers and it opened using the beta splash screen, but operated like the regular program.
it took a long time with chat at the download order to determine they are only sales people. my issue was well beyiond not being able to download the akamai files...
i finally was transferred to tech support who solved teh problem.
if i can start another thread to post the solution i will.

CS6 re-download problem

I recetnly upgraded from CS6 master collection to CC.
In the oprocess I needed to uninstall Photoshop since the CC installer was showing an error.
I've now installed CC - works fine.
But I want to re-install CS6 (sicne I have a perpetual license).
In the Adobe Creaditve Cloud Application manager it shows Photoshop CS6 as being "Up to date" with a healthy green tick - but it's uninstalled.
Any ideas?
(System - Mac 10.8.4, iMac 3.4GHz)

Premiere Pro CS6 Trial Download Problem

Hey I'm trying to download the trial of Premiere Pro CS6 but everytime I try downloading it, it gets to 36% and just stays there. It says "Currently Installing AdobeHelp" but it doesn't move. This also happened when I was trying to download the trial version of In Design CS6 as well. I'm running in Windows 64-bit.

Follow the steps mentioned below and let us know if this works:
1. Close all the installation windows and navigate to Computer > Program Files(x86) > Adobe. You will have a folder name "Adobe Help". Please cut this folder and paste it on your Desktop. Do not delete this folder.
2. Now re-start the installation and check if this works.
3. If it is success, then move back the "Adobe Help" folder to the same location - Computer > Program Files(x86) > Adobe.

I signed up last night for the photoshop and ligthroom special lightroom is working but photoshop isn't even on my computer?

Use another browser to inicate the dowload for PS CS5.5

Photoshop Download problems

I am a creative cloud member and every time I try to download Photoshop it fails. (Had owned Photoshop previously).
Spent twenty frustrating mintues with Adobe's TERRIBLE support chat people and got nowhere. Any suggestions of how to fix?

CS6 Photoshop saving problem

Hi,
I have master CS6 on Mac Pro, and I have trouble saving the photo to JPG, as it seems there is no option as to save JPG, GIF or PNG - and even the save to web is greyed out. How can I fix this? I would like to save in these mentioned formats as a default. Why is this saving to PSD, instead?

There are Bit-Depth limitations on some file formats, and also some Color Mode limitations.
When working in High-Def, I always Save_As PSD for my working files, with all Layers, Channels and Paths, and then sort of "work down," for other formats, when needed.
Bit-Depth will affect the final Image, but with some formats, that cannot be helped.

Download problems with Photoshop CS6

just had Windows 7 installed replacing the old windows xp and I used the like given to me by the adobe live chat to download my photoshop cs6 but when it came topening the file it came up with windows can't open this fil: File Photoshop_13_LS16 (2).7z
it then suggests either usuing a web service to find the correct programme
or
select a program from a list of installed programmes
I tried the first option and was then directed to Winzip which you pay for to open a 7Z file, i didn't go any further
any help would be appreciated

there are two files for you to download: an exe (file 1 of 2) and the 7z (file 2 of 2).
both should be placed in the same directory and the exe should be clicked (or double) clicked. the 7z file should NOT be manually extracted using winzip or any other utility. it is extracted by the exe.

Downloaded CS6 photoshop trial yesterday and I opened it no problem. Today my trial has expired?

I only dowloaded CS6 Photoshop last night and I was able to open the program and use it but today, 24hours later it says my trial has expired.. I don't understand why when I was meant to have a 30 day trial. SO annoying as I didnt have a proper look at the new features last night!

Installer failed to initialize: unable to install Photoshop CS6 from download

I'm unable to install photoshop CS6 from download. I've downloaded to required two files (Photoshop_13_LS16.7z and Photoship_13_LS16) and double clicked on the second file. This appeared to extract a number of files and folders to a newly created C:/users/lester/desktop/adobe CS6/Photoshop/ folder. I found a file called "Set-up.exe" inside the .../Adobe CS6/ folder and double clicked it. When I double click, a status bar says "initializing installer" for a few seconds, I get the following error message:

Adobe installer is already running. Please close other Adobe installers and select retry option to continue with this installation.
Get Adobe Support Advisor
Nothing else is running in Windows. The adobe support advisor link is useless because the page says support advisor was discontinued. The "how to download" PDF on the download page was useless (for CD disk downloads only). Any ideas?

Thanks Jeff - I decided to do a complete reinstall of Windows because of this issue and others with unwanted popups I accidentally downloaded. Hopefully things will go smoother the third time around, just as they did a few days ago when I did install PS CS6 without any problems.

if you have a problem starting the download, you didn't follow all 7 steps, or your browser does not accept cookies.
the most common problem is caused by failing to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system enabling you to download the correct version from adobe.com).
failure to obtain that cookie results in an error page being displayed after clicking a link on prodesigntools.com or initiates the download of an incorrect (eg, current) version.
