CS6 - problem to install 'myriad mm'

Question

Please, who can help with special font 'myriad mm'
We changed to Creative Suite CS6 from a older version und have trouble to install our official and paid type 'myriad mm' from 1994.
Is there a way to install this font in Illustrator 64bit version?

Multiple Masters are so useful to anyone who's had to make the exactly legible font fit the exact space.
ATM still works on Win 8, and Illustrator 9 still  can use MM fonts. With ATM you can still make an instance of the font -- in the exact size you ended with with your Illustrator 9 layout -- and save it for system. Then you can put your MM fonts in a "Fonts" folder in CS6 Illustrator and it'll use your instance as type.
It's a little complicated, but lay out your type in Illustrator 9 and copy the MM data and transfer those three numbers to Adobe Type Manager ( ATM ). To allow ATM to make MM instances, browse in its finder to where you keep your MM fonts and make it 'add' that basic font ( Kepler MM, say ) to the left-side window. Then, in ATM chose Make Multiple Masters and type in the three numbers: weight, width and optical size and you'll have available for use in CS 6 that exact size and wight of MM. Obviously, it's easier to just make your layout in Illustrator 9, and for anything simple 9 is still a working program.
