CS6 Reinstall

Hallo, I hope you can help me. I like Premiere CS6, I had a older one, but I had no time to use it. Today I like to learn how to use. So I take a small booklet and later I thing let me look on help. There was a way to learn CS6 from out Premiere CC. First I have to download a copy from this new program, so I did. But, the program put it over my Premiere CS6 and I have to use trying and after to pay, 49,85 a month, but I don't like this, I have own versie and Iike to hold it. I was trying to put my DVD's again over it, but I need a serial number, that I get with email, I have: [Removed serial number] and from out this I get the serial number, but I lost the one, why I live in China and my son buy the Adobe Creative Suite 6 for me, and he have to email, who later he sent to me, but I lost it, and how I get this also the program Premiere SC6 back, that is the question. But, sorry but in my way it have overwrite my CS6, or maybe you will show me, what to do or to change the way, that I get primeire SC6 back, that is where I looking for. I have the same problem with Adobe photoshop, I have try also photoshop cc, but you are right also photoshop CS6 is still working, but I have only Premiere cc on my apple laptop and can't find CS6, maybe you help me to find it, I have to do something to change, thanks if you will show me, Hans.

CS6 Reinstall Forgot Illustrator Plugins and other issues...

I recently had problems with the memory in my machine (Windows 7, 64-bit) and had to replace it. Somehow that messed up my licensing with my Adobe products (don't ask me why, we're completly stumped). Anyway, I unistalled and reinstalled CS6 and am having all sorts of fun issues. The big one is that somehow the plugins in Illustrator for drop shadow, inner glow and a few others didn't get installed? Others did. What gives? There wasn't an error or anything amiss in the install. How do I find out what was missed, and how do I get those back?
Also, Adobe now somehow isn't able to register in it's system that CS6 is already licensed. I've had to re in-put my license like 20 times, it keeps asking me if I want to continue the trial. Something was hosed, but I am not sure how to resolve it. Any ideas?

I actually was working with an Adobe Rep with the reinstall...they did all the pieces and I sat there and watched. They didn't mention the cleaner tool at all, and the install "seems" to have run smoothly. That's what bothers me...no errors came up at all. If it wasn't able to properly install something, shouldn't it have given me an error report?
I have been assured by Micorsoft, Dell and our IT staff that replacing the memory in the machine should not have affected this at all. Hence my frustration, no one seems to know why this happened.
I may just try to uninstall and reinstall on my own again, and I will run the cleaner tool in between...this is not great for my productivity. I have had more issues with this version of CS than any of it's predecessors. *sigh...*

Production Premium CS6 Reinstall

Hello,
I am about to reinstall my Adobe Production Premium CS6 suite due to failing hardware corrupting the dynamic link server. I have already done this once, but my question this time is: Will the key code return used when I try to install it? Do I need to deactivate the package before reinstallation? Or can I just reinstall it and enter the key again no issue?

if the the software is still installed and accessible then before uninstalling it you should deactivate it (open an app and choose Help -> Deactivate). Otherwise, contact Adobe Support thru chat and ask them to reset your activations. You normally have two activations available to you, but it is better to not waste one in case you want/need it for another machine.

After Effects CS6 reinstall

Hello. I have had to uninstall After Effects CS6 from this work iMac because it just wasn't working properly. How do I reinstall it, given that it was an Adobe download in the first place? Does it mean that we have to switch to After Effects CC? Please help.

Getting my CS6 reinstalled.

I had a configuration error 213:19, I posted a message to answer the problem , I did as was suggested, and now I can't get into my SC6 without installing a serial number. I've tried the number I was given when I first bought the program, but that gets rejected. What can I do to solve the problem?

Photoshop requires 512 Meg of VRAM or more to use the 3D features - that's been the same for version 14 (CC) and now 15 (CC 2014). Check Help->System Info to see how much your card says it has.

How do I re-install Photoshop CS6 from Creative Cloud?

Hi there, I have subscribed to Creative Cloud recently and upgraded all of my software from CS5. Everything was peachy until I decided to unistall CS4 on my machine and now when I launch Photoshop CS6 it tells me "One or more files in the Adobe Application Support folder, necessary for running Photoshop, are missing. Please run the Photoshop installer and re-install Photoshop." I tried to see if I could re-install from CC but there is no option to do this as my Photoshop CS6 was just updated this morning before I uninstalled CS4 and all of my problems seemingly arose. Incidently I also tried to open Photoshop in CS5 and I got the same error message.
I really don't want to have to re-install CS4 to get CS6 working again : ( Surely there is another way around this? Has anyone else had this problem?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Run the Creative Suite Cleaner Tool, then let AAM reinstall CS6/ reinstall CS5 yourself.

Can't open Canon Cr2 file in Photoshop CS6

I purscahed PShop CS6 Upgrade a few days ago as an upgrade for the full CS4 Extended (which was upgraded to CS5 last year). I installed CS6 as an upgrade to the installed and registered CS5.
Neither Bridge CS6 nor Photoshop CS6 will read Canon Cr2 raw files, and the "About Photoshop" splash screen indicates my purchased CS6 is a Beta version.
What has gone wrong? Should I uninstall CS5 and CS6, reinstall CS4 and then apply the CS6 upgrade to CS4?

Thanks for the reply. My reply is a bit delayed from time zones - I
live in Australia & had to go out to do some work.
My CS6 upgrade was bought from the Adobe Store Australia on May 10.
Order number is: AD003318323AU
The downloadsI got on May 10 seemed to cause the problem. I had trouble
with the Akamai option but used a second option to get CS6 in 2 files -
the small exe and the big zipped file. The small exe wouldn't unzip the
main file so I unzipped it manually and installed from that, and somehow
or other I finished up with the beta version. I'd never installed the
beta version before this, but the "About Photoshop" splash screen made
it obvious that I had it then.
When I got home a while ago I ran the Adobe download process again and
this time it worked, and file sizes and date last modified etc were
different in today's download. I deactivated the first CS6, uninstalled
it, ran Adobe Creative Suite Cleanser Tool and reinstalled from todays
downloaded files. My new CS6 is the correct & current version.
Adobe will probably have another confused customer somewhere who did
what I did at about the same time and got the beta version instead of
the real program.
The CR2 files I couldn't open were from a Canon G1X. My Canon 5D Mk2
files opened properly.

Nothing happens when I launch Acrobat 10 as part of Design & Web Prem CS6 - Win 7 64bit

I had this problem in the past and called support. Here are some notes:
No Adobe PCD Folder[C:\ProgramFilesx86\CommonFiles\Adobe]
uninstall Acrobat Pro 10; Acrobat 10 from Design & Web Prem CS6
reinstall Acrobat Pro 10 as part of Design & Web Prem CS6
Installed updates
Issue resolved.
This time I checked for PCD Folder and it is there, so do I just uninstall Acrobat 10 and reinstall and hope it works?

Thanks for your advise but I had already uninstalled Acrobat 10 and reinstalled and then updated Acrobat. It works fine now.

Downloaded Master Collection CS6 will not install errors below

Getting the following errors: The file archive part of Adobe CS6 Master Collection is missing you need all parts in the same folder to extract Adobe CS6 Master Collection. Please download all parts.
I have downloaded both files and when trying to open the 2nd file I get this error: My computer will not read a .7z file
I have a HP touchsmart, ample room. What am I lacking here to get my CS6 reinstalled on my new computer!

you need to download both the exe and the 7z files. put both in the same directory and then click (or double click) the exe.

PS CS6 Type tool is backwards

Hi I am having trouble with the type tool. it is putting all punctuation at the start of the sentance.
Example i want to type
This is doing my head in!
What i get is:
!This is doing my head in (exclamation mark at the start of the sentance)
So far I have:
Reinstalled photoshop
Changed the language prefs from East Asian and Middle Eastern (both give the same result)
Trashed all my prefs
Checked other apps (all fine)
Used different typefaces (all act the same)
I found this screenshot on a forum that looks perfect:
Howerver my paragraph panel does not have that option.

You can solve this, doing as follow bellow:
Enter Type menu
-Language Options
-Click middle eastern feature
Then, the panel above will be activated and you can change to fix this issue when writing.
It's work for me. But its realy annoying.... Adobe should do something about, since it was working and then..... start to do this issue when typing.

Installing CS6 Updates

I am trying to update Photoshop CS6 with CS6_13_0_1_3 update. I keep getting a message that reads: Update Failed - update could not be applied. The patch is not applicable for you. Please check for updates from the help menue in your product to see a list of latest updates available.
This is the latest update - I can't check through the help menu because the computer I run Photoshop on is not on the internet. I have always downloaded the updates via another computer and transferred them to the computer I run the program on. This has always worked perfectly until now.
I have the same problem and message with the resent Bridge update. What is the problem and what is the solution? Please don't tell me to uninstall Photoshop CS6 and re-install to make sure the program is in the Adobe Photoshop CS6 folder - it is already there - I always let the files install where the company wants them

To install the Photoshop update:
1. Disable all virus protection software.
2. Ensure that the folder on your hard drive containing Photoshop is named "Adobe Photoshop CS6."
3. Double-click the "AdobePatchInstaller" application. If the updater reports that it cannot find the application to update, uninstall Photoshop CS6, reinstall the application (using the default folder name "Adobe Photoshop CS6"), and then run the updater.
4. Follow the onscreen instructions.

A CS6 reinstall on a mac with recent install of maverick, will not boot, can't find disk for scratch, any ideas?

Photoshop CC 2014 won't open after update ..... heeeeelp !!!!!!!!!

Hi Guys hope someone can help on this one
Just updated 2014 (Mac running 10.9.2) and now CC 2014 wont open ..... error message "Could not complete your request the PNG file could not be parsed.
I have not tried opening any files at all ?
I have dumped the prefs file ....... any ideas guys

InDesign files take long to open when clicking file icon

Ok, I have a weird problem with a Windows XP machine running InDesign CS6. Whenever the user tries to open an .INDD document by double-clicking the file icon itself, it takes 3-5 minutes, literally, before the document will open. This is with InDesign running already. It happens with .indd files on servers, locally on the desktop, files with content & links, and even completely new & blank documents.
However, if the user simply drags the file into InDesign, it will open up right away. No problem.
This behavior is not being seen on other WinXP machines, nor is it being seen when trying to open other documents in other applications (i.e. MS Word) on this particular computer.
Any ideas? This machine had Windows XP and Adobe CS6 reinstalled from scratch yesterday.

Sad that this issue was never addressed or responded to, for I am having the same exact problem with InDesign CS5.5 and with files located on a network server. I tried the above suggestion of dragging the file directly into InDesign but that doesn't work everytime.

Now and then I can't open my windows in Photoshop at the right since yesterday

Since a short time I can't use my windows layers at the right of my screen like Layers etc. it's a kind of frozen, they won't open and they can't be moved?

Use Disk Utility to fix permissions (Ignore if you are not on a Mac)
Well something damaged the install, so let's do this: A clean uninstall-reinstall.
Uninstall ( check remove preferences) Uninstaller found in CC 2014 folder. or Add/Remove Programs.
Use the CC Cleaner Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6
Reinstall.
