CS6 Replacing Macbook, but thinks still active??

I ERASED (securely) my 2008 Macbook, downloaded a CS6 ext. "trial," entered my upgrade and original S/Ns. .. thought all ok .. BUT, now get message that too many (more than 2) are being used.
Before this I was having trouble with the Adobe Download App but got help on "Chat" which was very much appreciated. Tried to open the case as per the email instructions but ... can't get back to any place that will allow sending an email or any way to contact with case number. .. even though the email says it is available..
I am a real Adobe "fanboy" although a less than expert user from Lightroom 1 and PS Elements 3, now LR 4.1 & Current CS6.

Is the status light green?
Your Airport device may be in Bridge Mode.
Airport Utility 6:
Open Airport Utility, select the Airport Express and click Edit. Navigate to the Network tab and change Router Mode to DHCP and NAT. Then click Update on the bottom right.
Airport Utility 5:
Open Airport Utility and click Manual Setup. Navigate to the Internet icon and change Connection Sharing to Share a Public IP Address. Then click Update on the bottom right.

SQL_Monitor for query shows DONE(ERROR) red X but Session still active

Hi. I'm just a developer so I was wondering if someone might be able to answer my question relating to the subject.
Basically I have a query that has been running for quite a while (12H) now. Thats not a problem. However, I'm confused about one thing. When I click on the SQL_Monitor tab for that query within my still Active Session it shows the SQL as having errored out. Nothing for my particular user shows up in V$SESSION_longops either. Its Oracle 11G with EM of same type. I believe that my session is still active as it still seems to be consuming resources. I don't need help optimizing my query, I've already managed to do that. I'd actually just like an answer to the following questions.
How can I tell if a query has really died?
Is it possible that a session will remain active while a query errors out and how could I detect this in my application?
is it possible for a query to be running that does not appear in V$SESSION_LONGOPS (or sql_monitoring in EM which I'm assuming are nearly the same thing)?
Is my only recourse to #2 if possible, to kill the session and start my query again?
Anyways, thanks a lot in advance. (No need to optimize this query as I've got the one that prompted this question down to about 3H and it ran fine.

Were you able to resolve this problem? I too have a similar problem where I imported the image, went into the shared components of the app, definition, and under logo selected a logo type of 'image', and the logo attributes of #workspace_images#cmclogo.gif
This gets me a box with a red x in it, but no image and no clue what's wrong.

FTP Displays as Disabled via Server Admin, but FTP still active via tnftpd

Server Admin (v 10.5.3) displays that the FTP service on our box is inactive.
However, FTP access to the server is still active. When I FTP via command line, I'm informed that tnftpd has allowed me to connect via FTP.
I'd like to have OS X's built in FTP services disabled so that I can use SFTP only via CrushFTP.
I can't figure out how to disable/block tnftpd. Any suggestions?
I tried adding a "nologin" file to /etc, but this ended up causing every shell session to error out with a "access not allowed" error.

The process was still loaded in launchd, so we just unloaded and that appears to have killed it for good.
Weird, but that would explain it. I'm just not sure if there's a launchdaemon that would need to be removed to keep it from starting up after a reboot.

I replaced the hard drive and ram on my 2010 macbook, but its still unusably slow! Why??

I replaced the harddrive and the ram on my 2010 white unibody macbook about two months ago. I only put a few documents on it, i did not reinstall all of my files. I have only downloaded the minium amount of items on the computer since then, and it is still just as slow as before. I was told that by replacing these two items and reinstalling the mac software I would have essentially a new computer, but it's still the same piece of crap I had before. All of the work I have to do for school is done using the computer, via Word and the internet, so this issue needs to be resolved ASAP. It seems as though there is a phantom process running constantly that takes up the entire CPU. This needs to go, I have never mistreated my computer. PLEASE HELP ME FIX THIS.

Replaced macbook pro battery still wont work.

Hi all,
I’ve been a long time reader but I haven’t been able to fix my issue and its been nearly 18 months, so I need your advice as to what to do.
One day I was using my laptop (Macbook Pro Unibody Mid 2009 model) and realised that my battery was losing battery but it was plugged into the AC. Eventually my battery died so I assumed my charger had short-circuited. I used a new charger, and although it turn on my fear worsened when I realised that even with a new charger that it still said no battery available. Also the sidelights, which indicate the status of my battery, will no longer flash at all and the light on my magsafe is always green. So up to this point, my charger stopped working, and what looked like my battery had stopped working. I tried everything to resettling my PRAM and SMU to removing the battery and holding down the power button then restoring the battery. Nothing. I then had no choice but to order a new battery, which cost me £70. To increase my problem, a new battery didn’t work. I don’t remember resetting any settings once I placed the new battery in. I am now selling the battery if anyone wants it when I realised it wasn’t the problem. So then I thought, maybe the magsafe connector is the problem. But like I said previously, my computer still works when plugged in to the AC so therefore it isn’t the charger or the battery as both had been replaced, and it can’t be the logic board as my computer has been working for the last 18 months. I then did an Apple hardware Test and it came back with the code for no battery detected, even with my new battery placed inside. So this must mean that the connection between my battery and my logic board is somehow damaged. Am I right? Does anyone have any insight into how I can fix this or any place in the UK, which can fix logic boards and wont just tell me to replace it? I have a perfectly working mac when it runs off AC, and although it runs on half its CPU usage because it can’t detect a battery I have since gotten round that. I need help, and I have no idea what to do. If anyone helps me get my mac up and running I will buy you a beer or cold beverage if I’m ever in your part of the world/country.

Fonts disabled in Font Book but are still active in Phtoshop

I am having the exact same problem as that user: I have a lot of fonts, but I only enable about 30 fonts at a time using Font Book. However, ALL 1000+ of my fonts still appear in the pull down menu in Photoshop. This causes my system to slow down and Photoshop to crawl.
Dumping my font caches is not helping. This problem seems to happen a lot and at random times. This affects ONLY Adobe products (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator). All my other programs work well with Font Book.

Photoshop CS3
Font Book ver 2.2.2
OS 10.6.8 (20" iMac) Upgrading to newer OS is NOT an option.
Dumped all AdoneFnt*.lst files and restarted.
Restarted in safe mode.
Checked all fonts for corruption (all are perfect).
Tried FontNuke.app
Nothing works.
Why won't Adobe address this issue?

Built in apps cannot be deleted, tehy are likely on another page, in a folder, or you have restirctions set.

Hp LaserJet 400 M451 replaced cartridges, but they still read "low"

I have an HP LaserJet 400 color M451nw
When the cyan cartridge said it was low, I replaced it. It then printed another 100 pages or so, without problems, then the printer told me the magenta was low , and I replaced it. It printed a few more sheets, told me the yellow was low, I replaced it.
Now, although 3 cartridges have been replaced, it tells me the cyan cartridge is empty, the magenta cartridge is at 20%, and the yellow cartridge is at 70% (all 3 of these cartridges are brand new HP catridges)
Now, it will not print at all, and insists the cyan cartridge is very low.
I have inspected all of the cartridges, was sure they were seated correctly, and I have reset the printer several times.
I cannot get the printer to "see" I have plenty of toner.

[Disclaimer - I have little experience or expertise in printers that use the 02 ink cartridges.] That said the issue sounds like one that would be caused by air in the plumbing. There is a long thread here, reading through has a few reported successes from reseting the printer. I would suggest reading and trying the steps in these posts:

You don't have to create one manually. The mechanism is there to allow you to specify non default settings for the index. i.e. if you create a unique constraint / Primary Key constraint on a column with NO index on it, Oracle will automatically create an index with the defualts (default storage settings, tablespace, uniqueness etc) Pre-creating the index prior to the creation of the constraint allows you manually set non default values (such as those mentioned previously) Note that you can also use the 'using index' clause to achieve the same thing, I haven't tested the behaviour of indexes when dropping constraints in that situation.
An example of where you may want to use this functionality could be to allow you to create a non-unique index on a unique constraint which can allow you to implement the ENABLE NOVALIDATE method of a constraint (e.g. disallowing future inserts/updates of duplicate values, but allowing duplicates on historical data). Or possibly to force an index to be built in a tablespace different to that of the table, or setting a higher than default value for initrans etc etc.

Workflow completing on Deleted event but workitem still active

I have a couple of different FI workflows with forks with 3 branches...1 being necessary. One branch is approval and the other two are change and deleted events which should completed workflow if either are raised. Both of them are basically the same layout:
These workflows have only recently started having problems. Sometimes when the deleted event is raised, the workflow is completed but the approval workitem remains in process in the users inbox:
I checked the transaction log and some work and some do not. I looked in ST22 but didnt see any errors that look related. Looking through the workflow log itself, everything seems normal except the approval workitem doesnt logically delete when the workflow is completed. I also looked at any execution times that might coincide with the document delete time and didnt really see anything that might point to an enqueue problem.
Has anyone else experienced anything like this?
*edit I looked a little further back into the log and it appears that in each instance that it didnt work, the approver had the workitem in process at the time of the deletion.

being the scatterbrain I am, I spilled coffee over my 3 months old MacBook Air. >_> Creative Cloud is still active there, but I need to run Photoshop on my new MacBook. Is there any way to deactivate CC for a device without starting it up?

I don't think you actually have to do much of anything, just set it up and use it on your new machine. It seems to me I remember reading that the activations will just shift to your most recent two machines on which you've used the software.
