CS6 simple file quit, now gives me error code 4?
My InDesgin CS6 resume just quit as i was finishing up and now gives me error code 4??? Any ideas how to fix this? I tried opening this on another mac.. same thing. Not only will it not open but it crashed InDesign.. Its just a simple two page InDesgin file... geesh!

Error code 4 is probably not recoverable, so for a two-page file you should probably just rebuild, but you can try opeing as a copy instead. If that works, copy the text and paste into a new file.

How can I make Photoshop Elements import files after it gives incorrect error code?
I had 17,000 photos on my hard drive well organized in folders before installing Photoshop Elements 11 today. I was able to get it to import only 467 into the catalog. I tried browsing, searching, selecting files and no matter what I did to bring inthe remainders (including trying to bring in folders with only 60-80 in each, moving files into new folders, etc.) and still can't see them in the organizer view. It allows me to highlight the folders or highlight the photo jpg files separately, says it is getting media, but then comes back with message that "files are not in correct format or are in the catalog" but they ARE in normal format jpeg, can view in other programs, and they are NOT visible in the catalog. Very frustrating, especially after wasting hours downloading the program from Amazon Marketplace - took hours, then had errors and had to redo twice. Running WIN 7 on 6 month old Sony computer with 8 GB RAM and quad processors. Thanks for any help.
You should try posting in the PhotoShop Elements forum, especially if no one else here has a better suggestion to offer. It is possible someone else has encountered the same problem and you could search there to see. If you post there and you do have an error message, you should include the details of that error message.

I have an iPod Classic 160GB and now it will not sync. I have restored to factory settings multiple times. It freezes during sync, gives -50 error code and says video is not supported on iPod. Please help.

I've spent 6 hours trying to update my iPad, and it doesn't work. It can't get past trying to back up, and just stops and gives an error code. I've deleted the backup, re-synced, and tried again and still no luck. What do I do now?
I am not running any antivirus software on my Mac, and I have the firewall shut off. Any other ideas? I have not problem downloading all other Apple software updates. I downloaded the latest iTunes software before starting the iPad update process.

I have cs4. Had to rebuild my mac OS after malware infected it. Now getting an error code 150:30 when trying to open PS. Can this be fixed or do I have to upgrade to cs6?
150:30 means licensing is broken. It's a common CS4 error. On Macs it usually happens when Photoshop is retrieved from backup or migrated from another Mac. Photoshop is never meant to be moved that way. As advised, you should uninstall and reinstall from your discs.
Sine reinstall only apply the base install and the CS4 Help > Update function is outdated, you will have to manually download and install your updates from here: Product updates for Bridge and Photoshop.

Sounds like your iPhone is stuck in DFU Mode. Try this, open iTunes on computer. Hold both home and power buttons until iTunes recognizes iPhone in Recovery Mode. If you are using a dock, bypass it and connect directly to the white Apple USB dock connector cable. If the issue persists on a known-good computer, the device may need service.
If the issue is not resolved by USB isolation troubleshooting, and another computer is not available, try these steps to resolve the issue:
Connect the device to iTunes, confirm that the device is in Recovery Mode. If it's not in Recovery Mode, put it into Recovery Mode.
Restore and wait for the error.
When prompted, click OK.
Close and reopen iTunes while the device remains connected.
The device should now be recognized in Recovery Mode again.
Try to restore again.
If the steps above do not resolve the issue, try restoring using a known-good USB cable, computer, and network connection. -

there is a complicated way to work with just the mobile device support but its simpler just to uninstall itunes and related components and then reinstall itunes
ur music will be fine, u will just lose the playlists. but ur mobile device support will be working again. -

why does my apple password work on EVERYTHING apart from home sharing where is gives an error code 5599!
Every time I try to set up icloud i get a message that my account is not verified and I will get an email about how to verify it. I never get the email. I have reset my password 4 times. My email address is good. My apple id works everywhere it should. For some reason my ipad will find my ipad but not my iphone, and my iphone will find my ipad. I cant change the setting on my iphone so the ipad can find it, because it is greyed out because icloud will not verify my email and password, and never sends me the email to verify it.
