CS6 So disappointed - still running the buggy versions off the disc because updates fail

Over the course of years I have spent in the region of days trying to get my CS6 Design and Web Premium to update. Whichever way I turn I get errors and so I have to live with this expensive and buggy software.

But even after numerous uninstalls and using software like clean my mac to remove remnants I am no further to finding a solution.
If anyone is listening its been a very bad experience for me and has cost me a great in terms of downtime. I know there are plenty of other victims of these issues on the web - and I don't see any fixes for anyone in the forum threads and I think its a really bad show that so many have had the same experience and Adobe never did resolve it.
This is sad because if I had not had this experience I would feel ok about moving to CC, but I as its stands - after this expereince I don't see why Adobe should get any more of my money I am afraid.

I am running Mac 10.8.5, but the issues were apparent in older versions.
I rely on PS and DW and neither update either with manual updates or via the updater. Any help would be much appreciated.

Ok, so after like 4 days of going through all these different issues, I figured out that several programs weren't downloading, and it was an issue with my wireless connectivity messing up the digital signatures, so if you plug in your comp to the modem and delete your temp files, it should start to work!

We are having some issues, trying to transport an appset.
First of all we make sure that all the entries in table ujt_transport_chg are setting to "D". then we Transport a customizing order with these content. After that we check the content in target system, and it is ok.
The execution method make us fails. The msg nº is UJT_EXCEPTION030: "Import still running or UJT_TRANS_OBJ version 'P' for AppSet is filled".
Now in the ujt_transport_chg isn't a record for the appset.
Each time we transport, the same error came across.

Thanks for your response.
Before transporting BPC AppSet, we check this table in QA and 2 records are missings comparing with Des. APPM and ASET.
We transport all the entries of the table in Des into QA system, and check it again. Table in both systems have the same records.
After that, we create a transport via UJBPCTR and import into QA. This takes more than 30 minutes and finaly fails with the mentioned error.
We check again the table in QA and APPM, ASET records have been deleted.

No idea if Windows will do it, but you can run Windows without Bootcamp & have OSX available at the same time, which should give you all the Monitors that OSX uses.

First up, we don't know what kind of MacBook you have so we can't tell you what OS you can run. You can use this instruction to identify which MacBook model you have: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1635. Alternatively, from the Apple menu open "About this Mac". From the window that pops up, click "More Info". This will open the system profiler. Click "Hardware" and locate the model identifier, there.
Next, you need to determine if your system can even run Mavericks before you can go about installing it. These are the requirements:
To install Mavericks, you need one of these Macs:
iMac (Mid-2007 or later)
MacBook (13-inch Aluminum, Late 2008), (13-inch, Early 2009 or later)
MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid-2009 or later),
MacBook Pro (15-inch or 17-inch, Mid/Late 2007 or later)
MacBook Air (Late 2008 or later)
Mac mini (Early 2009 or later)
Mac Pro (Early 2008 or later)
Xserve (Early 2009)
Your Mac also needs:

Lastly, as you'll note from the above, you can't update to Mavericks (or Mountain Lion or Lion) from 10.5.8. Mavericks is only available in the App Store. You need to be running Snow Leopard (10.6.8) in order to download and install any OS from Lion (10.7) and up. But once again, I do not want to lose my other texts, app progress, and photos. I could sync the photos but i would still lose the app progress and texts. I would only restore if it was the only option left, but the other space, as already stated, isnt the main concern. The main concern is those 'deleted' texts. If they go, then a good size chunk of the other space goes. I know you CAN delete texts for good. It worked fine before. All i want to know is why its not working for me now, and how to fix it.
I also know that when you delete texts on your iphone, they get marked for deletion, however they stay on your device (thats why they show up when you search for them.) then when you sync your device with itunes, the texts marked for deletion should disappear. When i synced they didnt disappear. Thats what i need an explanation/solution for. Why the texts marked for deletion didnt get fully deleted after the sync.

I would try reinstalling.
Reinstall Lion, Mountain Lion, or Mavericks without erasing drive
Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Repair
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported then click on the Repair Permissions button. When the process is completed, then quit DU and return to the main menu. Select Restart from the Apple menu.

I have tried to install at different times over three different days with the same result each time. My version of Bridge now no longer shows DNG files except as an icon. The update is supposed to install Camera Raw version 9.

The system BIOS Updated failed

I have an HP Elitebook 820 G1.
Every time I try to upgrade the BIOS TO 1.04 , it says "The system BIOS Updated failed. Unable to open the Bios Signature file."
* I tried unsuccessfully using the HP_TOOLS And then the USB method.
I can't also update to Win 8.1. Error 0xC1900101-0x30017
INTERNAl_POWER_ERROR.
Need help please, this is giving me headache.

Never use MS Defender and other antivirus software.
