CS6 System Design

This maybe repetitious but I am trying to design a new system to run CS6 to replace my 2.5 year old system running CS5.
I would like to build a 6 HDD system where 3 of the HDDs are in Raid0 and the other 3 HDDs are not in Raid.
#1 HDD - 1TB - OS & CS6
#2 HDD, #3 HDD, and #4 HDD - 1TB -- Raid 0 - CS6 Projects & Media Cashe
#5 HDD - 3TB - Raw Footage 1
#6 HDD - 3TB - Raw Footage 2
I want to be able to format #5 HDD and #6 HDD rather than delete files.
I would rather not buy a RAID controller.
The last mobo could not support mixing RAID and non-RAID drives.
Are the any mother boards that will support this design?

Thanks for the great design but could I ask you a few questions about it?
C: OS/Programs - is there any advantage to using a smaller drive? The difference in cost is small. I like to use that drive to store music and art work libraries for my videos - that way they stay out of the way of any clean ups and deletes I do on the other drives.
E: Media - I assume this is where I store my raw footage copied in from my flash card storage. Why not use 3TB x 2? Is there a problem with 3TB drives in this configuration? As E: Media gets full what do you do to open up space on it?
G: Exports - is this where I generate my MP4 files before uploading them to Youtube? I have been sending those files to D: Projects drive in a folder under the project folder. Is there a problem with that?

Installation of CS6 Web & Design Premium in Windows Multipoint Server 2011

Hi all,
I am trying to install CS6 Web & Design Premium in Windows Multipoint Server 2011.
But I am always getting the PDApp.exe crash message and can't even get into the installation wizard.
Can anyone help me in resolving this problem?
Actually I have tried to install it in normal mode or maintenance mode with UAC switched off already.
In addition to this, can CS6 Web & Design Premium support Windows Multipoint Server 2011?

Desktop products are generally not supported on server operating systems. That's all you will ever hear about the matter. That being so, you shouldn't expect anyone to have any answers for you. It's simply an exotic scenario and very few people, if any at all, will even have bothered to try.

How do I check to see if my reinstalled CS6 Web Design program has been activated?

I installed CS6--from a trial download--on my reformatted laptop. I deactivated the program before reformatting the laptop. I then filled in the serial number from my purchased CS6 Web Design program. The trial version (which lists as CS6 Master Collection) started, but I get screens asking if I want to update my trail version. I can not get help from Adobe Customer Care (800-833-6687) because they do not support Creative Suite. The telephone system referred me to the web system (www.adobe.com/getsupport), which does not allow me connection to Live Chat. It refers me to the community forum. So, guys, how do I check to see if my reinstalled CS6 Web Design program has be activated?

When I click on the link I just gave you, this is what I see:

I've been told that Web Chat is handled from the US time zones so if you're in a different part of the world, you may have to accommodate that.
Serial number issues cannot be handled in a forum because (obviously), you're communicating a serial number which would be broadcast to the entire internet. Also, few Adobe employees are on most of the forums. There are NO Adobe employees on this forum.

after finally able to direct download and install the cs6 web design premium, i received the following warning:

CS6 In Design 'New document' not working

CS6 In Design When I click on Create New (book) it brings up a setup box. But when I click on Create New (document) or (library) the next screen brings up My Documents on my computer. Something's not right. How can I fix this?
(Don't know why I had to type this question three times to be redirected here! I'd ticked all the right boxes.)

Upgrading from CS5.5 TO CS6 CREATIVE DESIGN STANDARD

I am a graphic design student and currently own CS5.5 and I need to upgrade to CS6 for my courses. Where do I go to purchase the upgrade? I only see the option to buy the full version of CS6 Creative Design Standard.

CS6 In Design - DPS Desktop Tools Update (30.0.1) Error Code: U44M2P34

I've been getting this update message for CS6 In Design from Creative Cloud updater for the last two weeks or so, so I try to update from that Updater, but I always get error message.
My OS: Windows 7

Does anyone know anything about it?

Ok, thank’s a lot, I will post in french.
Quand j’ouvre un fichier avec InDesign CS6, et que je sauvegarde, la 1ere fois il s’enregistre sous. (avec cmd S et non pas enregistrer sous) Ce qui demande de remplacer le fichier et peut causer des erreurs de version. Est-t-il possible d’enlever cette fonction ? J’ai regardé dans les préférences et dans l’aide en ligne, mais je n’ai rien trouvé à ce sujet.
Nous n’avons jamais eu ce problème avec les versions précédentes d’In Design.
Bien sûr, aucun autre logiciel ne présente le même problème. Cela ne vient donc pas du système d'exploitation.

CS6 Web & Design full, plus CS6 Master Collection install

I am a freelance pro and educator. I currently own (and have installed) a full CS6 Web & Design Premium pkg. I will be teaching After Effects in the fall (which is NOT part of the Web & Design package). I purchased an educator's version of the CS6 Master Collection recently. I'm not quite sure how to install the new Master Collection, since it's an limited educator's version. Should I keep the full Web & Design collection using the current full license and then install After Effects by itself using the educator's license? Will that cause conflicts? OR should I uninstall the Web & Design and do a full install of the CS6 Master Collection educator's version?
You see, the conflict for me is that I will be doing professional, paid work mainly with Illustrator, Photoshop and Indesign.

You can continue using your Design and Web premium.
And for After Effects, you can just install After Effects out of the Master Collection.
When you will begin installation, you will get options to select what applications you would like to install, there you can choose After Effects and install using Educational license you have.
With this there will be no conflict.

It doesnt matter if you uninstall the older version or not.CS6 installer would be a new install and it would not overwrite or uninstall the older CS4 version software. if you dont intend to use the older version CS4 software you can unisntall using the Creative Suite Cleaner tool.

System Design of ava2 ORB

Sun's ORBs com.sun.corba.se.internal.*.ORB are proprietary I think. The JACORB is freely distributed with source code (www.jacorb.org). The OMG is responsible for the overall CORBA design and specification (www.omg.org). I hope this helps.

CS6 Adobe Design Standard

Hello. I need to install CS6 Adobe Design Standard but I can't find it in the Adobe Download Assistant, I could only download the Web and premium version, how could I download just the Design Standard Version? Because my Serial Number doesn't work with Web and Premium! Thanks.
