CS6 thumbnails not taking updates after RAW edit, cleared cache

Cleared cache and changes are appearing in the Camera Raw edit screen, save the changes, clear the thumbnail cache and the changes are not reflected in the thumbnail. This use to work fine in CS4, any suggestions?

If you have Bridge thumbnails set to embedded raw edits will not show. Need to have one of the HQ varieties for this to happen. Can change in toolbar second row right side.

I just finished upgrading to iTunes 7 and it said my iPod needed an update (software version 1.2). It's in the process of updating but then it stopped and gave me an "unknown error 1417." I tried updating again and it gave me the same error. What does it mean?

Siri not taking request after updating.

Siri not taking request after updating to iOS7.It is now 4 days, siri is still not taking requests. Tried all the suggestions discussed, no luck yet. Is there a way to check wether the problem is from my wi-fi settings? But siri was working fine before the update. When this is going to be fixed?

Fix:
After trying the entire trouble shoot discussed, I finally could fix siri not taking request issue after iOS7 update. This is what I did; I just changed my wi-fi network and connected my device to another wi-fi network (my friend’s) where siri is working without any issue. My siri started taking request in the new wi-fi network and also in my network after changing back. I am not a computer geek, but hope this might help. Just try to change the wi-fi network.

Thumbnails not updating after external editing.

I noticed the thumbnails are not updating after I use an external editor. When I bring the images full screen are they are representing correctly, but when I leave full screen the thumbnail still is not the latest image.
I tried the update preview and Aperture said it they are updated, so I did an option and update preview and that corrected them, but this should be happening automatically.
I did try restarting Aperture before the doing the "option - update preview" and that had no effect.

Do you mean it is suppose to be fixed in 3.0.1? Or do I have to wait until a 3.1 comes out.
I am using 3.0.1 now and that is where I am seeing the issue.

Photoshop Bridge CS6 is not operating properly after most recent update to Photoshop CS6.

I updated Photoshop CS6 (through Adobe Creative Cloud) a few days ago. Since the update, Bridge does not show changes in the images when viewing the thumbnails. Opening in Camera Raw does show the changes. But this outcome negates the purpose of Bridge. I want to see the changes made (to the Camera Raw files) in the "filmstrip" thumbnails without having to open each file individually.
Other problems exist. The icons for rotating the images are grayed-out. Even worse, the vertically oriented images are shown as being horizontally-oriented.
Can anyone offer help on this problem?

I am on the Adobe Download Assistant. It was stuck at "less than a minute" for an hour and a half, showing that the installation was basically done, since the installation bar was full. But it was stuck. Now it has stopped all together, and is restarting the download from scratch.
Apparently it does not save the download, or only saves a small portion.

It is at 85.6 MB, even though a short time ago it was close to 99.9% done with the 6,352 MB download.
My internet connection is fine, all is working, and I am able to browse, etc.
I have been careful to keep activity minimal on the computer, so as to avoid conflicts.
The conflicts are with the Adobe Download Assistant.
I amabout ready to just give up, and look for alternatives.
Please help.

Preview Update after Photoshop Editing

I would think this would be a common question but I can't find the answer.
After I edit a photo from iPhoto 09 in photoshop, the preview of the photo in iPhoto does not update. I can double click on the photo and see the edits but when I zoom back out it goes back to the original state.
Any ideas on how to correct?

Be sure you're using Photoshop correctly from wihtin iPHoto:
Using Photoshop (or Photoshop Elements) as Your Editor of Choice in iPhoto.
1 - select Photoshop as your editor of choice in iPhoto's General Preference Section's under the "Edit photo:" menu.

2 - double click on the thumbnail in iPhoto to open it in Photoshop. When you're finished editing click on the Save button. If you immediately get the JPEG Options window make your selection (Baseline standard seems to be the most compatible jpeg format) and click on the OK button. that indicates that PS wants to save it as a PS formatted file. You'll need to either select JPEG from the menu and save (top image) or click on the desktop in the Navigation window (bottom image) and save it to the desktop for importing as a new photo.
This method will let iPhoto know that the photo has been editied and will update the thumbnail file to reflect the edit..
NOTE: With Photoshop Elements 9 the Saving File preferences should be configured as shown:

I also suggest the Maximize PSD File Compatabilty be set to Always. In PSE’s General preference pane set the Color Picker to Apple as shown:

NOTE: If you want to use both iPhoto's editing mode and PS without having to go back and forth to the Preference pane, once you've selected PS as your editor of choice, reset the Preferences back to "Open in main window". That will let you either edit in iPhoto (double click on the thumbnail) or in PS (Control-click on the thumbnail and seledt "Edit in external editor" in the Contextual menu). This way you get the best of both worlds.

JComboBox not visually updating after setSelectedItem

Hi there,
I'm having a strange problem wherein I have a JComboBox item, I call setSelectedItem, and visually the control does not update. It will update if I drag the window wider or move my mouse over it, but not immediately after the call. Isn't there some sort of hookup already there such that calling setSelectedItem should automatically update the combo box visually? What am I missing? Do I have to call some sort of repaint on the control after setting the selected item, or have I done something improperly?
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide me with -- this is driving me nuts!

Stock not getting updated after confirmation of order

In our scenario x is final product.x1( semifinished),x2(spare) are dependent materials for final product. x1 has bom r1 and r2 (raw materials).I put all x1,x2,r1,r2 stock available in storage.
To get final product , only final assy of above materials by labour.PIR (md61) created for x and planning run.After planning run, planned order generated for x and converted in to production order and released.
My requirement is on confirmation of production order, backflushing of dependent materials as per bom should be done.
On confirmation of order in co15,saved.But, stock is not getting updated.what might be the reason? please give me some solution

Hi
1.Set the Back Flush Indicator in your Material Master for the components. ( You can do this in Work center and Production Order too )
2. You can also set the flag for the field " All Components" in Order Confirmation Parameters (OPK4).
3. If you want to post the Fert also at the time of confirmation use the Control Key which has " Auto GR" enabled.
While confirming the Order press the Button "Goods Movement" to ensure that the components are present there for the movement.

All Game Center friends' status says "Never Played" and not be updated after restoring iphone

I restored my iphone today, and after that, recent game activity line of all of my friends on my game center friends list shows "Never Played" and has not been updated.
Is there anyone saw this issue and found any solutions?

Just in case, the following is what I did/saw :
1. I already upgraded ios 5.1.1 and there's no problem about Game Center before restoreing ios.
2. I restored ios(iphone 4s) via iTunes ( ver. 10.6.1.7) on windows pc
3. After finishing the restore (I tried it with both backup and as-new-setup), launch Game Center app and log-in as my Game Center ID
4. Open "Friends" tab and see the friend list on the left of the screen
5. See description below all friends' name shows "Never Played"
I tried log-out and re-login Game Center, but this wasn't fixed.
I feel very sad to see my Game Center ID looks broken.
But I'm also guessing this issue comes from Game Center's server side, because this worked fine before restoring ios.

ASN not gettting updated after Workorder completion phase

Hi ,
I am doing workorder collaboration scenario. But after completion of the phase and when i complete transportation phase (shipping) , ASN should get generated in the background and it should update the conformation control key with inbound delivery in Purchase order in ECC.
But it is not happening , I dont know how to check whether the ASN is created in the background in SNC , The ASN is not getting updated in ECC in PO .
Can anybody help me to resolve this issue.

I think first step would be to check whether ASN is getting created in SNC - you may go to Web GUI -> Delivery -> ASN -> ASN Details. If you do not see any ASN there, the issue might be from supplier side.
How are you bringing ASN to customer's SNC system -
1) Creating directly in Web GUI (as Nitin has mentioned)
2) Bringing as XML message from supplier
3) Using EDI or other third party system

UI not fully updated after transitions (only on Linux)

After a transition of an object the UI is not fully updated. One can still see "lines" from the "movement".
This only happens on Linux (Debian) and not on Windows. Is this a known issue that has been fixed in later Javafx releases ?
I am still using Java7 because of WinXP support

I don't know, try a later JavaFX release and see.
If you still have an issue, create a reproducible, minimal, executable test case and log a bug with the test case and your full environment details - full Java version (e.g. 7u75), OS version, graphics hardware, graphics driver version, etc.
Using Java 7 is not advised because it will cease to be publicly supported in about month.
There are many JavaFX bugs which were fixed for Java 8 which will never be fixed for Java 7.
Supporting Windows XP is not advised as not even Microsoft support that.

At the time of creating Sales Order Dynamic Credit check not happening coz of Tables S066 not updating. Please provide me Solution.

I followed your suggestions and implemented in the Development and moved the changes in to Quality Server. I tested it thoroughly by creating New Customer and maintained Credit Limit. I come to know that Problem is in all Servers. I made 3 changes.
1. In Pricing Procedure Sub Total A it was not maintained against Net value. I placed it.
2. Removed Credit groups for Delivery Type.
3. In OVA8 i maintained Max. Doc Value :99,999,999.00 before it was with 1.00
I checked the OMO1 Settings it was Asynchronous. As SAP Notes Suggesting to use Synchronous but here it's a client setting. So, It's Can't possible to change. Changes will affect other Company Codes.
Tested both in DVP and QTY Dynamic Credit Check is working Perfectly and Status in FD33 Sales Value field getting update.
If i move these changes in to Production, Will i need to run the reports again or not? How it will affect on Old Cusomer Billing and Credit Limit data. For few of the Customers the Credit Limit data it was exceeded. Please provide me advice. The issue need to be Solved immediately.

Thumbnails not orientating properly after new OS update

Many of my recent thumbnails (last 4-5 imports/projects) have lost their proper orientation after the update. Most, though not all, of the "landscape" orientation now show up in the thumbnails at the bottom of the screen as rotated 90-degrees, some left, and some right. The individual image in the viewer is correct, but the thumbnails are not. I tried reprocessing, but no effect. I also have some portrait orientation images showing up as landscapes in the thumbnails, but showing properly in the large image.
If I rotate the thumbnail to the correct orientation, the large image becomes wrong orientation.
Anyone else having this problem? The images are from a Nikon D700, and have been fine up until this update.

Open all the stacks in the project select all and re-create the thumnails, that worked for me

G12: XMP not opened after raw edit

Hi all,
yesterday I got my new Canon G12. I only work in RAW and I edited the G12 CR2 files as usual and save the settings in xmp files. The xmp files are written to disk as usual BUT: I do not get the little icons in Bridge indicating that there are settings and crops for the CR2 files. And when I reopen (the previousely edited) CR2 files the settings and crops are not there...
What strikes me is that the xmp files are correcly written to disk and are readable (and the content looks reasonable opened wit a text editor). But the xmps are not read again by Bridge or Camera Raw. Any idea why this happens??
Some more info: tried it on 2 computers (Windows Vista and 7). All the latest updates for PS5 and CameraRaw are installed. The xmp system works very well with my 2 other camers (5D and 400D). And funnyly: if I convert the G12 files to DNG then everything works perfecly (the icons are visible and the settings preserved). But I would prefer to work with xmps for the G12, too.
There must be something to the xmps written for the G12 so that they are disregarded by Bridge and Camera Raw. Any help is highly appreciated...

Camera Raw can be set to read from sidecar XMP files -OR- a central Camera Raw database, depending on a setting you control.
Is it possible the setting has been changed to the latter?

HP Deskjet printer 4645 is not taking print after installing windows update

Iam using HP Deskjet 4645 printer at home. After installing updated drivers from HP it works very fine but after updating windows it doesnt print from microsoft office 2013 as wel as word pad. it prints well from notepad and e print. When I contacted HP
for this problem, they told me that problem is with microsoft windows 8.1 and I should contact Microsoft for the problem. Please help

HP service center is telling that the problem is not from HP side but it is from Microsoft windows 8.1.
Do they like the driver that it is using? Usually it is their driver but quite old. E.g. they probably didn't try to provide one specifically for W8.1 but it is their responsibility to do so; otherwise they are in effect saying that they do not
support W8.1 with that device.
Notice that your printer does not appear in this list?

And that is W8. Who knows what all they stopped supporting for W8.1?
