Do I have to unistall trial prior to installing purchased disk?

The trial is identical to the activated version. There's no need to
install anything. Just add your serial number when prompted.

Welcome to the Support Communities! I’m happy to hear that you liked the Final Cut Pro X software enough to purchase the full version. You will be amazed at all of the things you can do with this creative software!
The full Final Cut Pro X application will recognize the Libraries (and the projects and clips contained in them) that you created with the Trial Version. By default, these libraries are in the Movies folder in your User Account on your Mac, unless you chose an external hard drive to store this data. So, all you should have to do is launch the new Final Cut Pro X application and you should be able to pick up exactly where you left off. Once everything is working with your purchased software, quit Final Cut Pro X, and delete the FCPX Trial by dragging it from the Applications folder to the Trash.

AE CS6 trial to full version problem

I have a problem with my After Effects CS6; at first I downloaded and installed a trial version of it, but after a while I decided to get the full package. So I upgraded my CS5.5 Master Collection to CS6 Production Premium, but After Effects CS6 continues just being the trial version, even after un- and re-installation of the whole thing. And now that trial version has expired. The Production Premium serial number doesn't seem to work on After Effects CS6 alone. Please help me - After Effects along with Photoshop are the main reasons I spend a concideral amount of money on these program suites.
PS: I use the Mac version.

Correct. Suite serials only work with suite installs. If you haven't already, run the full installer. Otherwise try some of the stuff listed here to erase the trial lock and activate your suite properly.

Trial to Purchased Version

Hello,
I have projects in the trial version of FCP, that I must access, but when I purchased the full version they did not transfer. The libraries did not show up in the full version, it was a complete blank slate. I dug round in here and saw that the libraries stand alone, so I found them in Finder, and tried opening them with the Final Cut Pro paid version. And they opened with the files missing...all the FCP affects are still in place but I have a great big red box where my video should be. Please tell me there's a way to recover the weeks of work I put into this project already.

i had the downloaded trial version of muse. i have now purchased creative cloud but it wont let me download muse. it says its up to date. i removed the program download and it still says its up to date

Need help transitioning from trial to purchased version

I started with the trial and then downloaded Aperture from the app store. Now whenever I use Aperture, it says Aperture 3 Trial Library. Did I do something wrong?

That's just the name of your Aperture Library. The Library is a Finder package -- it shows in Finder as a file. Close Aperture, go to Finder, select your Library (it's called "Aperture 3 Trial Library"), and name it anything you'd like. Then double-click it to load Aperture. After that, every time you start Aperture it will load your newly-renamed Library.
Or, if you want to start with a fresh, empty Library, create a new one. When you create it Aperture will ask you to name it.

Ankush solved my problem.
For others, there was an empty Font folder (/Library/Fonts/MyriadWebPro-Italic.ttf) that was crashing the install.
With Ankush's assistance, I deleted the folder, ran the PSE9 uninstall, then ran the install program again. PSE9 installed cleanly and is working now.
Thank you to Adobe for following the forums and responding to my problem.

InDesign CS6 trial version no longer working...

I have the trial version of InDesign CS6 installed. I was working in it last week and went in tonight and could not get in as the "continue trial" button was not available. I purchased a subscription however it said I needed to download InDesign CC. I am not able to download CC as it says InDesign does not support the current operating system. How is it that I was able to get in one week ago and now all of the sudden my operating system doesn't work?!

ID CC and CS6 are two different versions. You can use CS6 via Creative Cloud by installing it under the "Otehr Versions" link from the ID icon on the web page for your CC account. for your serialization and activation issues refer to this:

I have a CS6 Disc I purchased. It does not seem to fit correctly in my external hard drive so I can download the software. Is a special kind of external hard drive required. I have a MAC Book Pro Yosemite version.

I recently purchased an Adobe Creative Suite 6 Design & Web Premium software so I could use a more updated version of Photoshop & Illustrator. My new Mac Book Pro does not have an internal hard drive. I was told by Apple to buy an external hard drive to download the software. I bought an LG Ultra Slim Portable DVD Writer compatible for MAC. When I went to put the disc in the drive it does not seem to fit in the tray properly. Is there a special size external drive I need to purchase to do this? Please help if you know the answer. I want to convert the trial version of Photoshop CS6 as a liscense version. This trial version is already installed on my machine. How do I get the serial key?
Also will it again do a installation, as the trial version took close to 11 hr so a complete installation.

You get the serial key by purchasing the application. You do not have to reinstall. You can use the serial key to convert the trial version to the fully licensed version.

After trial I don't want Photoshop CC, how do I get my old purchased version of Lightroom 5 to work?

I previously purchased Photoshop CS6 and Lightroom 5 as stand alone software. I tried Photoshop CC for the trial month, which has passed. I am able to use my old Photoshop CS6, but when I try to use my old, purchased version of Lightroom 5 I just get a message that my trial month is over. Not the most helpful error message from the installer? No details on why the system was rejected? That's something I'd consider to be some amateur-level programming in the installer.
You don't have a 64-bit processor. Intel Core series is 32-bit. Intel Core 2 series (and later) is 64-bit.

Photoshop CS6 Trial Version will not open on my Mac

Photoshop CS6 Trial Version will not open on my MacBook Pro 10.6.8. Message: Photoshop CS6 will not open on this type of Mac. Dreamweaver opened without a problem. When I go into my Adobe Application Manager, it shows Photoshop and Dreamweaver as installed even though I had to unistall Photoshop. I was hoping to try the download again??

Is the purchased version of Lightroom 4 the same as the free trial version?

When I watch the tutorial videos about LR4 they show things I can't find on my trial version. I'm wondering if there's a difference or if I just don't know how to use it correctly.

The trial version is a full version with all features enabled. There is no difference to the purchased version.
In fact, as Jeff Schewe said, when you decide to buy after having downloaded the trial version, you just enter the serial # (e-mailed to you from Adobe after purchase) into the trial version for indefinite use as a full version.
If you don't find things in Lr just ask. This forum is the right place for questions. And don't be afraid to ask "dumb" questions.
