I have the Adobe CS6 Design and Web Premium package and want to uninstall and reinstall PS and AI. How do I do this?

CS6 uninstall and reinstall problem

Hi there ! I was using Photoshop and iy was fine. Then, I downloaded the Photoshop CS6 Beta and try to install it, but I got the message that I already has a version of PS CS6. I was dumb and deleted the program without a properly uninstall. Now the CS6 installer thinks I have it installed but I have not, and I'm not able to find it in Programs and features. I don't know how to uninstall something I already deleted.
My question is: where are the peripheric files that says PS CS6 is installed ? I just want to avoid the installer to thinks I had PS CS6 installed. I can use regedit if needed, but I won't do anything without instructions.
Or, is it possible to force a reinstall over a previous installation ?
I know what is the problem, I just need to know where is the files that makes CS6 to think I already have it, cause I dont.
I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate, 64bit.

Make sure you are dealing with the correct product for the serial number. If the serial number is for a full creative suite then you need to get the suite, not the individual application, and vice versa.
Unrelated to that, in case it helps, here is a link to another site. You can download the trial version of the software thru the page linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it.
Be sure to follow the steps outlined in the Note: Very Important Instructions section on the download pages at this site and have cookies enabled in your browser or else the download will not work properly.

I accidentally uninstalled Flash CS6. When I reinstalled it (using a download found here on the Adobe website: Download CS6 products) I was unable to move the window around my screen. There was no window "boarder", it was only a white box that I couldn't move from the upper left corner. Also there were no toolbars. My first thought was to check in the Window options, but despite my clicking on the various options nothing popped up. I also tried changing the window display options on my computer, thinking that maybe the window header was stuck somewhere "off screen" in a place I couldn't see. I also tried toggling with the "paste board" option in flash. I've also uninstalled and reinstalled flash CS multiple times, and each time its always the same.
This is really weird, I think I've tried practically everything. I just really want to talk to Adobe on the phone but they don't let you do that.

The PS in my CS6 wont open. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, same problem, I did change a preference for storage of photos to and external harddrive because of large files prior to any trouble is all I can think off ,but if that is the problem..how do I change that preference if I can't open the program, Im on a mac 10.8, its only a month old etc ...can anyone help please, pulling my hair out...

I had tried that but I never was quick enough!!! ended up fixing it by going to the enclosed folder in finder ~/library ,find photoshopCS6 settings , rename the folder to include old, as in settings.old and then start up PS , all working!!!! When I try to open Photoshop CS6 I get error 1: Please uninstall and reinstall the product. When I go to uninstall I get this message: "The alias “Uninstall Adobe Photoshop CS6” can’t be opened because the original item can’t be found." I don't know how or why the uninstaller would have been moved or deleted, but it appears to be gone. How do I uninstall without the uninstaller?

i had to take my photoshop file into a hardrive because my dad was going to give me a new Mac and when things didn't work out and went back to my old one i use the time capsule thing to save everything before but didn't give me photoshop so i physically moved the file and tried to open it but then this error shows up

To Uninstall and Reinstall CC or Not?

Hi Guys
I'm running Win7 64bit on a Dell Precision 6700 laptop. A little while before Christmas all my attempts to update started to fail and I got error "Error code U44M1P7" for both CC and CS6. After digging back it seems it may be related to running CCleaner, which may have deleted my language files (although it runs fine with CC on my other machine!) I'm now in a quandry on the next best thing to do.
I had a problem with the original CC installation as it set up using North America English as the language instead of International English (I'm in England), which I have for CS6. So I think this may be a good time to uninstall and reinstall so I don't have to keep flipping between the two. Having said that I'm worried that some bits may get left in the registry and stop me reinstalling (as happened when I ran CS4 and had to reinstall Windows to get around the problem). Is it just a case of going to the control panel and ininstalling each individual CC programme or are there other steps I should follow? Anyone any ideas on the best way to uninstall CS6 as part of this process? Is there an order I should follow (i.e. CS6 first, then CC)?
Alternatively I think I have an image restore point before running CCleaner but I've never used that before and I'm not sure I want to restore my entire laptop and settings back to November.
Any advice welcome as I want to make this as painless as possible.

I don't know what version you have, but you cannot install a Windows edition on a Mac, you need the Mac edition.
If you have Photoshop CS6, you can swap it for a Mac version, otherwise you would have to purchase a full Mac version ($700) or enroll in the $10 per month Photography program from Adobe to use Photoshop CC.

Uninstall and reinstall error 1 for Acrobat X

I have been having problems with Acrobat for awhile, tried to copy over from my backup drive, tried to uninstall and reinstall but keep getting "Please uninstall and reinstall the product. If this problem still occurs please contact Adobe Technical support for help and mention the error code shown at the bottom of this screen: error 1.
Adobe chat takes a long time and I keep getting cut off. I have also tried to reinstall from my CS6 Design standard disk but get above error and disk ejects. Please help

After the uninstall (I would have repaired rather than uninstall that is typically a last step), run http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html, remove any left over parts of the Acrobat folder, reboot, and reinstall as you did when you first got the product. Since this is part of CS6, you will have to follow the CS type installation process that is apparently different than basic Acrobat.

I uninstalled and reinstalled but at the end of installation there were erros. See attached screen shot. I now cannot open the application. error code 10810 comes up when I try to open.

Unfortunately previous advice of using CCS cleaner tool, and suggestions from links for 1) "exit code 6 and 7" and 2) "Troubleshoot instal logs" did not work at all. So I am desparate to fix this because I have spent a lot of money purchasing Photoshop CS6 but have no functioning program. Surely Adobe can help solve this problem with installing, or else it means a lot of money spent on Photoshop CS6 for nothing. I am appealing directly to Adobe to help because I have come to the end of my options. I thank the forum for their suggestions but so far the solution for this specific "Language Pack installation failure" problem is missing. Thank you.

I need to uninstall and reinstall iTunes (it won't let me update). I have IE 8 on Windows XP, and iTunes 10 something. In my Program files list I see iTunes and iTunes (2) and even iPod and iPod (2) where a tech had to back up and do this for me before. I'm just trying to fix it all. I keep getting the "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable. Click OK to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package 'iTunes.msi' in the box below." I can even run a search and find the folder, but it gives me the same error message. I was planning on using the Microsoft Fix-It tool to help uninstall then Reinstall iTunes. But I need to backup my library. So, how do I copy or back up my iTunes library of over 1,500 songs? Can I copy the folder to desktop or can I use a Flash Drive to backup my music? I don't want to do anything until I know for sure how I can backup my songs, and then reinstall them into iTunes. Thanks for any help.

Ok, thanks that helps. I don't have an external hard drive though. What about backing up through 'the cloud'? I'm just wondering since my husband syncs his iPod to the PC through iTunes and he's worried that he will lose all the songs on his iPod if the library is lost from iTunes and he tries to 'sync' it up again. I'm not exactly sure how to 'copy the entire iTunes folder' either. I kinda suck at this unless I have step by step instructions, which I haven't found yet on iTunes help or other sources.
The only way I know how to back anything up is by going back to a restore point, etc. (as stated before, we don't have an external hard drive.)
