CS6 version 8.02 opening CC version 9.01 files
Can I upgrade to CC 9.01? I'm not using Cloud actual phyiscall program is installed on my computer here at work. My companies policies will not allow for running programs that charge a monthly fee.
I dislike the subscription concept (and present reality) as much as any "hater." I belive it is a bad business model (regardless of what the defenders say).
I have not needed to cross this road yet, thankfully. But should I end up needing to receive CC files in the future, I will subscribe, even if it is just a month to month in order to handle the job. Sooner or later, I suspect I will simply have to just subscribe as once the CC files continue to come in, I will have zero choice.
If I worked at a company receiving CC files on a regular basis, I would strongly encourage the powers that be the time and hassle of getting IDML just is not cost effective. Then it is their decision. But I would make the case for CC in that circumstance as more and more roll in. This is a present reality.
For the immediate time period, as a contractor, about the only impact of my not subscribing is not being able to aid on the forum with CC issues.

Updated Muse CC to 8.0 from a previous version. It opens old version??
I just updated Muse CC to 8.0 from a previous version, now when i open Muse cc, it asks me if i would like to update to the new version. Why will it ask me if i updated it already.
I looked in my Creative cloud Desktop control center and it shows two apps for muse.

Thank You!I saw the same thing - I had Muse and Photoshop permanently in my task bar, and when I downloaded the 2014 update, the link remained with the old version. I just deleted that button and affixed the links to the new ones on the task bar. I'm not ready to uninstall the old CC versions yet, though, just in case.

Adobe Bridge CS6 (Mac) won't open .arw files from my Sony RX100. I was told to update Camera Raw to at least 7.2. I tried to download this but got a DNG Converter instead. Where is Camera Raw? (it does not show up in a search of my hard drive. There is a folder of camera profiles but no extension or plug-in with this name). How do I find out what version I have already? How do I get the correct version? . . . OR . . . is it the case that Bridge will never open Sony raw files directly and I will have to do a separate conversion process every time I want to use a raw file??. Can someone explain this?

Photoshop CS6 Trial Version will not open on my MacBook Pro 10.6.8. Message: Photoshop CS6 will not open on this type of Mac. Dreamweaver opened without a problem. When I go into my Adobe Application Manager, it shows Photoshop and Dreamweaver as installed even though I had to unistall Photoshop. I was hoping to try the download again??

How do I open other versions of Photoshop with cs6 installed?
I've installed CS6 beta to see what it can do, but it won't let me open Photoshop CS4 (my current version). CS6 is fine and looks slick, but in the meantime, I have actual work to do and all of my presets/brushes/actions/shortcuts are saved on CS4. Can I just uninstall CS6 and forget about it?
I'm running on Windows Vista, and even when I tell the computer to open a file with CS4, it opens it in CS6. When I go to the Program Files/Adobe/PhotoshopCS4/application, it STILL opens CS6.Hi,
On Windows, you can only open one version at a time. So, inorder to run CS4, quit CS6 and then launch CS4. It should work fine.

When you say that you can't open eps files, are you getting an error message?
Photoshop CS6 has the ability to open both .eps and .ai files. However, opening by going to File > Open... will rasterize the image - meaning that it is no long a vector so you can't scale it up and down without losing quality. To open an .eps or .ai file in Photoshop and maintain its vector capabilities, try the following:
Create a new canvas in Photoshop. Then, go to File > Place...
After selecting your file from the Place dialog box, your image will be placed into your canvas. Resize accordingly, and then hit Enter on your keyboard.
The image you just placed is a Smart Object, meaning that it has retained its vector capabilities and can be resized without losing image quality. If you ever need to rasterized this image, just right click on the layer and select Rasterize Layer.

My final project for this quarter in a web design class is due in less than a week. And suddenly, after months of working with this exact file, it won't open. I'm trying to open it in CC (newest version of Muse) at school. At home, I downloaded a trial version of it. I would think the trial version would be the absolute newest version..and even if it wasn't, why can't the even newer version open it? PLEASE help me. And, what do I do if my trial version has expired (I'm not home right now, so I can't check..) and I can't open it to fix it (if that's what I needed to do..)?
Note: at school we have CC, always updated. At home I have CS6, but downloaded a trial version of Muse. So, I would think the trial version would be the newest and CC not CS6. I don't know, though!
Note: is there a way to extend my trial version for, like, an hour, to retrieve this file? It would absolutely suck if I can't get it back now. I've spent a long time on this.Could you please send me the muse file to [email protected] along with a link to this thread. If they're larger than 20Mb you can use a service like Adobe SendNow, Dropbox, WeTransfer, etc.

Why it open trial version if I launch an app without web connection? I am CC subscriber from many month. Adobe verify every 99 day or not?
At this time after 2 days of blood and tears I follow the advice of one adobe phone-girl-operator (after many test in chat with different guys, with some guy operated in remote, with other who said “sorry but I can't understand your system language) who says to test with another administrator. I do that and now it seems works regularly. But! I've loose any preferences in mail client, font, brushes and all other application, included the entire suite adobe. So I go ahead from this point now because I'm worried to delete and clean all after readed the adventure of many other users here in forum.
At this time the only doubt is relative at the CCDesktop window where it's all update but in the menu HOME the wheel keeps turning... not normal I think. I still testing.

I just uninstalled it and am waiting for it to reinstall. I sincerely hope that I have not lost everything that I worked on so hard. Now that mobile me is gone, I have not been able to go between devices to transfer things. I was merely trying to take a document I had worked on and open it in pages, but it said my version was too old. When I updated, it wouldn't load. Now I cannot do anything. I hope that the reinstall fixes it without losing everything. Please advise!!! Yes, I am in panic mode.

Please help me figure this out. I'm very unhappy at the moment. I'm fustrated and don't have any idea how to revert to the original version before the update was done on iMovie 10. I NEVER hated APPLE until NOW!! I love APPLE products and apps so please help me stay in that mindset. So I worked on some movie projects when I got my macbook pro 6 months ago. I update reguarly. I saw the update prompt and honestly, I did not think I would have ANY issuess with opening my previous files that I created only a few months ago with this updated version.The new updated version of iMovie 10 won't let me open my previous files I created before the update today. I have a wedding that I'm trying to finish and deliver and now I can't because that file version won't open. I keep getting an error message and the iMovie app closes. Last night I saw the file and tried to open it but no luck. Error message came up again. I reboot and turned off my laptop for the evening and tried again just now but nothing!! I need that video. My job depends on it! I worked so hard on this wedding video and now it's lost and won't open. I work another job and don't have much time. I really don't want to start all over again. Jolly A. RuppI also have Jolly's problem. I found the iMovie 9.0.9 folder and tried to launch the older version of iMove. It would not launch. I removed all of the iMovie preferences from the Preferences folder, removed iMove 10 from the applications folder, and restarted my Mac. iMove 9.0.9 still won't launch and I can't access my videos created with the older version of iMovie. Is there a way to uninstall iMovie 10 and reinstall iMovie 9.0.9?

After going through the forums I have found that updating the graphics card drivers can be a solution for the problem.
Even after updating the grapichs drivers I am getting the same error as above.
However when i checked the current open gl version using following link :

DivyaWhat operating system are you on and what is it you are trying to do? "Texture too small" is more or less a transparency blending problem (see http://aeerrors.myleniumstuff.de/?p=750) or texture cropping problem, so it matters, what you are doing. comp preview res and size e.g. on text layers could be influential. The 8600 series should be just fine. While not exactly a precise comparison, the mobile version works just fien in my Macbook both under OSX and Vista, so something else must be the problem.

Pages is telling me that I need a newer version before I can open my document. I have the latest version and I am able to open older versions. Whats up?
You have 2 versions of Pages on your Mac.
Pages 5 is in your Applications folder.
Pages '09/'08 is in your Applications/iWork folder.
You are alternately opening the wrong versions.
Pages '09/'08 can not open Pages 5 files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
Pages 5/5.01 can not open Pages 5.1 files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
Pages 5.1 sometimes can not open its own files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
Pages 5 can open Pages '09 files but may damage/alter them. It can not open Pages '08 files at all.
Once opened and saved in Pages 5 the Pages '09 files can not be opened in Pages '09.
Anything that is saved to iCloud is also converted to Pages 5 files.
All Pages files no matter what version and incompatibility have the same extension .pages.
Pages 5 files are now only compatible with themselves on a very restricted set of hardware, software and Operating Systems and will not transfer correctly on any other server software than iCloud.
Apple has not only managed to confuse all its users, but also itself.
Note: Apple has removed over 100 features from Pages 5 and added many bugs:

Archive/trash Pages 5, after exporting all Pages 5 files to Pages '09 or Word .docx, and rate/review it in the App Store, then get back to work.
