CS6 will not update for CC, all other programs have updated but CS6 keeps failing

I have updated via help in CS6 and all programs have updated for creative cloud, however CS6 keeps failing.
It is my original packaged version however I have subscribed to CC so as to maintain updates.
Can you advise please.

Run the Creative Suite Cleaner Tool, let AAM reinstall, try again.

    Hi.
    When this happens, please press CTRL+SHIFT+ESC and see how much RAM and CPU Firefox is using. If they're sky high, then... Well, that kind of issues are, unfortunately, more common and the we'd like. Thankfully, 99% of the cases are very easy to solve. However, you do need to diagnose what your exact problem is. Do this:
    #run Firefox in safe-mode to disable all extensions and plugins. If this fixes your issues, be them with RAM or CPU usage, then you know it's a problem with plugins or extensions. Proceed to number 2. If safe-mode doesn't fix the issues, then read bellow, after this list;
    #update all extensions and plugins in your Firefox. If this doesn't solve the issues, proceed to the following number;
    #disable all extensions and plugins in your Firefox (not running safe-mode). Being certain that, as in safe-mode, the problems you're having have gone away, enable one plugin at a time. You should be certain that you WANT that plugin to be enabled, so keep your overall number of plugins as low as possible. When you encounter the problems, you know you've found a problematic plugin, so disable it for good. Keep enabling all plugins (except problematic ones) until you've gone through them all.
    #enable one extension at a time. Again, be certain that you WANT that extension to be enabled, so keep your overall number of extensions as low as possible. When you encounter the problems, you know you've found a problematic extension, so disable it for good. Keep enabling all your extensions (except problematic ones) until you've gone through them all;
    #you're done! You've fixed your problems with problematic add-ons.
    Ok, if disabling all extensions and plugins through safe-mode didn't work to bring Firefox's CPU and RAM usage to good levels, then you have different issue. The most likely scenario is that you have a third party software running on your computer that is messing with Firefox. Do as follows:
    #do a virus/malware check on your computer. If this doesn't fix it, proceed;
    #disable all software running in the background that you don't want to have running in the background (in windows, this is done by pressing WINDOWS+R in your keyboard, typing "msconfig" (without the commas) and pressing enter. Now, under the "Startup" tab, you can uncheck the software you don't want, and reboot your system for changes to take effect. If you're unsure of what software you want running, ask someone with more experience). If this doesn't fix you issues with Firefox, proceed;
    #check your firewall/antivirus/security suite for enabled functions/features that you don't want and/or may be conflicting with Firefox. You'll find that these features are most likely tied to Internet Security features, such as link scanners or URL checkers and the like. If you're not sure they are conflicting with Firefox, simply try to disable to see whether or not that's true. As long as you don't browse the web with your antivirus completely off and your firewall completely turned off, there should be no problems. If this doesn't solve the issues, proceed to the following number;
    #check your operating system security options, mainly advanced options that are not configured by default. While it's very unlikely that this may be the cause of the problem (after all, it's the last item on the list), it's remotely possible. If this doesn't do it, I'm out of ideas. Except make sure you've followed my instructions correctly.

  • I can't Start, Uninstall or Install new iTunes. I'm getting the same error message: Window Installer Service could not be accessed.  No other programs have similar problem. Any suggestion what can be done?

  • One document will not print in color - all other docs are printing fine

    I just purchased an All Ine One Officejet Pro 8630. It will not print my proposal forms in color - although invoices and every other document that requires color seems to print just fine. The proposal form is formatted in in old Microsoft Access file.  Not sure that this would make a difference because I have had no problems with printing it in the past with color.  Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thank you.   

    So when you do print, does it come out in a grey scale with various shades of grey instead of the color or in just solid Black and White format? Also, on the PDF front, you can install either software I mentioned and that will allow you to "Print to a PDF File" and then you can at least view the PDF to see if your printing system from Access is outputing in color or not.  Just a troubleshotting idea.

  • CC will not update but no specific error

    I am at the end of my rope - I've had CC for months now, it took chatting with an agent to get it installed.  I have yet to be able to update it.  I've been prompted several times to update it and each time it gets almost finished and it says "update failed to install"  No number, no specific error message.  Just can't do it.  My LR and PS work fine and do seem to update, but not CC.  I have tried the obe.old - it worked way back when I first installed CC, but not now.  I've uncover the hidden admin, I've tried to update from there nope.  I've tried to uninstall CC from both my signon and the admin and it says "Uninstalled with errors"...??  And yet, still will not reinstall/update.  "failed to install" over and over and over.  I even looked at two install logs from today but couldn't really find anything - one even said "no errors".  I am livid that I bought into this whole CC thing.  How can I get this back on my laptop and working properly so I do not go through this EVERY single time there is an update??

    I am sorry for the inconvenience you have been facing. Looking from your post I can see that you have tried hidden admin, tried uninstalling, checked the log files but still the same error.
    Could you please let me know:
    Version of Mac you are using
    Are you on a managed network. If yes follow the kb: http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/troubleshoot-cc-installation-download.html .
    If you are using Mac v 10.7 or above and not in a managed network then please try the below mentioned steps:
    Navigate to:
    Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers and uninstall all Adobe softwares.
    Run the CC cleaner tool to remove any leftover ruminants: http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html .
    Remove all Adobe folder:
    Library/Application Support/Adobe and remove it.
    Applications and remove any Adobe folder
    Applications/Utilities and remove Adobe and Application Manager/Creative Cloud folder
    ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe and remove Adobe folder. (http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/access-hidden-user-library-files.html)
    ~/Library/Preferences and remove any Adobe preferences.
    Restart your machine, download and install the software again and try to update.

  • Firefox will not load any web page, other programs will. Continuously "connecting"

    Firefox will not load any pages, but Google Chrome will. Firefox will 'load' the home page, but with any other site, the tab will continuously circle and say "connecting". I have tried clearing my cache, starting in safe mode, and restarting my computer. So far, nothing is working.

    Update..when I open firefox from scratch, the main firefox pages on the home page seem to work. But as soon as I try to go anywhere else, IE going to a website in the address bar or even trying to access the defauly bookmark links, it just sits there loading but never brings anything up.

  • Ipad mini became hot when charging and now will not come on. All usual resets have been tried

    Mini ipad became hot while charging and will not come on.  Normal resets have been tried.

    I am assuming that you let the device cool down completely before you tried powering up. I don't know what more you might want to try...recharge, restore...the usual troubleshooting steps. Once again, assuming that the device has completely cooled down, I would let the device charge all night, try resetting one more time and if that fails, try restoring the iOS.
    If that fails, make an appointment at an Apple Store and let an Apple Genius evaluate the damage.

  • Indesign CS5 will not fully open. All other CS5 Applications work fine.

    I bought the student CS5 a few months ago, and havent needed indesign until recently. But when I got to open I select document (have tried other options with same result) file opens and I automatically get the spinning wheel of death. This never ends, and has continued for over an hour. So, I cant use Indesign at all.
    Is there something I can do? I am completely updated and do so regularly.
    A un/reinstal of Indesign?

    Impossible to tell without more info. Programs not opening when double-clicking their associated files can have all sorts of causes from trivial to complicated. Does the program actually launch when you open it directly? If so, can you open docs from within the program? What system do you use?

  • Adobe will not open PDF files from other programs

    This is on one of the computers in our office.  We use a medical records program called Sevocity.  This program stores documents that we import into the electronic charts as PDF files.  When we upgraded that computer from Adobe to Adobe Pro, it no longer opened the PDF documents stored there.  Is this an issue with the medical program or with Adobe Pro?  We already had Sevocity Support attempt to fix the problem, but they said the issue looked like it was with Adobe.
    We would like to troubleshoot by re-installing AdobePro, but we want to make sure that none of our files stored to the Adobe Document Cloud.  If we re-install Adobe, will those documents still be available in the online Adobe account's Document Cloud, or do we need to move those documents to the collective Creative Cloud?

    Yeah, it does open from other sources like "My Documents", but sometimes it won't open the print previews in our billing system either.  Communication error with secure sites and programs, maybe?  I don't get an error message, though.  It just displays the "processing" symbol next to the mouse for a second or two like it does when PDF's usually open, and then nothing happens.  We are using Windows 7 on that computer.  The other computer that runs on Windows 7 also has Adobe Pro XI, but does not experience these problems.  I have also put in a ticket with Sevocity (the program that is not communicating with Adobe). 
    And that's a relief about the Document Cloud!  We will try to re-install just in case it was something that went wrong with the initial install.

  • HT4623 iPad Mini - one year old.  Plugged it in to charge and now it will not power on at all.  I have tried different cables to ensure it was not a faulty cable.  What else can I do?

    I have an iPad mini that is exactly one year old.  I plugged it in to charge it.  The next morning it ws completely dead.  I can't get it to come on no matter what I try.  I have tried a different cable to see if my cable was faulty, but  that id not resolve the issue.  No matter what I try, I can not get it to power on.  I cannot get iTunes, nor my computer to recognize it when it is plugged in.
    Has anyone else had this issue?  What can I do?  Any help would be appreciated!

  • I upgraded Lion recently to 10.7.3. Since that time I am having trouble with my wireless connection. All other devices are fine, but I keep losing the connection since the upgrade.
