CS6 won't open a CC project

Several times recently I have tried to open CC projects using CS6 and I get a message saying the file or project is corrup or damaged. I then right click and select to open with CC version and all is fine. I thought CS6 and CC were supposed to be identical - they are both Premiere Pro.
No panic on this - I can obviously use my CC version - but if I had to give another studio my Prem Pro project and all they had was CS6 - we'd be stuffed.

In my opinion any user of Premiere Pro - whether CS6 or CC should be able to work as part of a collective - without having to use work arounds. I actually do love my Premiere Pro. If I have to I can work on a CS6 project sent to me, but the fact I can't send a CC project without having to go through hoops (probably as simple as "export as a CS6 project) - is in this day and age simply ridiculous - especially since this scenario does not involve any other product - this is Adobe - to Adobe - PP to PP.. and it won't work?
Poor... in my opinion.

No offense but how is this ridicules? It's common sense really. If you use new features in CC how do you expect CS6 to use something it doesn't have?

You may be able to get round the legacy JAVA requirement as follows:
Create empty folders at “/System/Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/1.6.0.jdk” and “/System/Library/Java/Support/Deploy.bundle”, to make Illustrator use Jave SE 8 as it should.

Premiere Pro CS6 won't open at all

Premeire Pro CS6 won't open at all. It locks up when it says "Loading QuickLooks_AE10.plugin" and the entire program doesn't respond at all. I think I just did the latest Creative Cloud update for the Premiere CS6 family. How can I get it working again? I have so many videos to edit! Thanks!

InDesign CS6 won't open files

InDesign CS6 won't open some files. No error message, simply returns to previous 'Open...' view. I've tried restarting, rebooting, resetting my InDesign preferences and re-unzipping the original zip file. I can still open previously worked on files, though. (Even in the second folder of unzipped files, it's the same files that I can and cannot open.) Any ideas? InDesign

That sounds like you have the resource fork for a Mac-generated .indd file. Check to see if there is another file with the same name but a real file size in the zip archive. I suspect the "real" file (the data fork) is being unzipped first, then the resource fork is overwriting without warning and you could solve it by extract9ng the files manually.

Premier cs6 won't open any of my projects

The options to select New Project as well as the visual settings pops up, but then the program simply stops working after that, and won't open. It has been uninstalled and installed multiple times, and the files have also been cleaned. Restarted the system after each install, to no avail.

Prelude CC2014 won't open Prelude CC project

I have an existing project, quite large, created in Prelude CC. I want to open in CC2014 to try new features but I'm getting spinning wheel of death - continuously - i.e. it won't open the project. Any thoughts?

Hello, sorry for the late response.
There are thousands of media files (it's a huge multi-year project). I've now tried CS6 and CC 2014 with similar results.
I've made Prelude more responsive by breaking the project down into four smaller projects.

Imovie won't open my imovie project

I was working on an imovie project when imovie kept crashing. So i backed up deleted imovie and reinstalled. Now it won't open up my .rcproject file. Nothing happens. is all my work lost? Also, when it was crashing some of my viedo clips were grayed out. Now in my event library some of the clips are grayed out. Any help would be appreciated.

I recently canceled my CS Cloud subscription about 3 weeks ago and went back to using CS6. I was using CS6 Creative Suite without a problem until 2 days ago. Now my CS6 programs (AI, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat) won't open. Instead the Adobe Application Manager keeps popping up to renew the subscription, see below insert.
I have chatted with Adobe customer support numerous times but when it comes to transferring me to their technical support, the chat mysteriously becomes unavailable. The only time the transfer went through, I was advised to remove CS6 Creative Suite using Cleaner Tool and reinstall, which I did but my CS6 still does not open and the AAM keeps popping up giving me the same message to renew the subscription. The AI/Photohop icons just keep bouncing up and down without opening while the AAM pops up.
What can I do to stop this annoying AAM from popping up and open my CS6? I just want my CS6 to open up again. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Please help!

Adobe Photoshop CS6 won't open

Around a month ago I bought the creative cloud plan. I'm paying $10 a month for Photoshop CS6. A few days ago I tried opening photoshop but it won't open. I found out that I had been using the trial the past month, even though I already bought the whole thing. A selection comes up shortly after I try to open photoshop saying "License this Software". I don't know what that means but when I click on it it asks for a serial number. When I bought the creative cloud plan it emailed me a few times confirming my order and thanking me for using creative cloud and everything, but it doesn't say a thing in any of them about a serial number. So I tried doing one last thing.
I went to the Adobe website and went to the apps section and selected Photoshop. I hit download and the Creative Cloud App in the top right of my desktop (I think it's called the menu bar, but I'm not exactly sure) opens up but won't load. I select the apps section but there's a blue loading circle that tells me it's loading but it won't stop. I waited 30 minutes the other day and it still didn't load. And yes my internet connection has been fine lately. I tried restarting my computer, closing other apps and everything else but it still won't load.
