Acrobat Xだと、たしか今は有償サポートになってしまうので自力解決できるとよいですね。

    Hi there
    Thank you for your reply.
When I click on the link for the cleaner however, before I can download the

Has anyone come up with an answer?
If not, what are my options? We spent a lot of money that we couldn't really afford for this software.

You will need to have a look at the log files.
    http://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/AdminGuide/mac.html#troubleshooting
    16.8   Troubleshooting
    16.8.1   Logging
There are two primary logs: one for the installer application and one for the Updater which is responsible for detecting and downloading updates as well as invoking the installer.
    16.8.1.1   Install log
Apple’s Installer.app creates an install log that should contain all basic success and failure details. The file is located at /private/var/log/install.log created by Apple’s Installer.app.
By default, the installer logs only necessary information in installer log. However, it is possible to configure the log to provide debug output for 10.x and later products.
To set this preference, do the following:
Go to Users/<user name>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Acrobat/(version) or create it if it doesn’t exist.
Open com.adobe.acrobat.InstallerOverrides.plist or create it if it doesn’t exist.
    Create following key-value pair: AcroPatchLogLevel:debug
    debug logging<key>AcroPatchLogLevel</key> <value>debug</value>
    Save and close the file.
    16.8.1.2   Updater log
The Updater creates a log at Users/<user name>/Library/Logs/Adobe/{application name} Updater.log. By default, it provides non-verbose output. To change the default:
    Go to Users/<user name>/Library/Preferences.
    Open to com.adobe.ARM.plist.
Note Create the file if it does not exist. The file will not exist unless the Updater has run at least once.
Create a new key if it does not exist: LogLevel.
    Set LogLevel:
    Brief: -int 0
    Verbose: -int 1
    Save and close the file.
The log size limit is as follows: If an existing log is bigger than 1 MB, the Updater truncates the log. Old log files are backed up once as Adobe Acrobat/Reader Updater-old.log and overwrites any existing old.log.

  • CS6 Acrobat Pro Exit Code 6 after re-formatting computer

    Hi,
I'm really hoping someone could help me with this.
I have a Mac Mini, removed the original HDD and installed an SSD, re-installed Mavericks and tried to re-install CS6 Design Standard. Now, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop claimed to have installed but I couldn't find them in the Applications folder, Acrobat just plain failed to install and came up with a Exit Code 6. After trying again, I got the same results and then did a search for InDesign on the computer. I found InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop in the 'Volumes' folder on the boot drive which was originally called 'Untitled'.
I moved those applications to the correct folder, let them update the file locations and they are now working, but I'm still getting the Exit Code 6 when trying to install Acrobat Pro. I can't find much, if any information on how to solve a Exit Code 6.
When looking at my logs, I have this:
    09/12/14 22:34:01:152 | [WARN] |  | OOBE | DE |  |  |  | 3859 | DW050: The following payload errors were found during install:

  • InDesign CS6 & Acrobat X Pro Issues

When I create a form in InDesign CS6 and import it into Acrobat X Pro, and then Export as PDF, when you fill in the form, nothing shows or prints, but the data is there when you click on the field.
So... I delete the form fields from InDesign and recreate them in Acrobat X Pro. Now the fields show and print correctly. Happens on both PC/Mac. Ultimate destination for the forms is on the Android OS for Galaxy 10.1 tablet.
But... the calculate fields that worked before now do NOT work in the recreated fields from Acrobat X Pro. Worse, no options show up at all when you click "Pick" to select the fields to calculate. Need HELP as soon as possible so I don't lose a good client.
    Link to forms is here:

Here's what I posted in the other topic you posted in:
In this case you can also use the simplified field notation, though it would be much easier if you were to change your field names. For example, the first row you want to sum the following two fields:
    "REG. HRS" and "O.T. HRS"
Since the field names include the period and space characters these need to be escaped, so you'd have to enter the following:
    REG\.\ HRS + O\.T\.\ HRS
If you were to change the names to:
    "REG_HRS" and "OT_HRS"
The simplified field notation entry would be simply:
    REG_HRS + OT_HRS
If you were to further refine the field naming scheme to something like:
    Row 1:  R1.REG_HRS, R1.OT_HRS
    Row 2:  R2.REG_HRS, R2.OT_HRS
A single script could be used for all of the rows, and called in the calculate event of each "DAILY TOTAL" field. I realize this may sound like jibberish at the moment, but if you want to pursue it, post again. In the mean time, the simplified field notation option will work.

  • In CS6- Acrobat Pro X

In CS6 - was Acrobat Pro X been updated - don't want to install if nothing has been done.

Appears to be Acrobat X Pro 10.1.0.  The current version is 10.1.3 so I would update just to make sure I had the most current version with bug fixes and security fixes.

  • CS6 Acrobat Pro requires activation -- AGAIN!

I bought CS6, installed it and ran it happily for two months, and then suddenly it said that Acrobat Pro was not activated.  I posted a note in this Forum and was told to reinstall it with the same original activation key, which I did.  It worked.
Now, two months later, it is suddenly telling me again that Acrobat Pro is not activated.  I guess I know what to do (deinstall and reinstall), but this is very annoying to say the least.  What is going on?  Are you doing some automatic update which is wiping out the activation?
I am finalizing a book tonight, wanted to submit it tomorrow, but I guess I get to go to the office tomorrow, deinstall and reinstall, and hope I can get this book submitted on Monday.
    Arghh.

I have my license number, so I thought I would open Adobe Pro X and activate it, but when I ask to open the application it simply does not come up.  Nothing.  No error message, nothing.
I checked again.  I bought the software in mid-July and installed it shortly after receiving it.
The first episode like this happened 6 weeks later.  My posting will be somewhere in this Forum.  At that time, it not only did not come up, bot it actually disappeared off my system by itself -- it was no longer listed in the list of available applications on my system.
Today it is listed as an application, and has a list of the most recently accessed documents, but I cannot get the application to open at all.
I even tried right-clicking and checking the Properties for the application, and asked it to run in Administrator mode, but again it just disappeared off my screen and no application started.

  • Master Collection CS6, Acrobat Pro X Ghost Install... (Mac)

So you know when you do a ghost poo, as in you do a poo and when you check the toilet and it's not there, well that's what the CS6 Master Collection Installer is doing with Acrobat Pro on my Mac (OSX Mountain Lion).
I run the installer and it says it's installed but then when you look in the Applications folder it's not there. I've tried setting the install location to a different address and creating that folder using the installer but still no love. Any ideas?
I've been having a lot of problems in the past few days with the latest version of the Master Collection which has cost me huge hours I've lost more than a day redownloading all the software after the Application Manager stopped wanting to load and so stopped me from using my license on CS6 software versions which were installed originally as trials (then it took me a while to realise that Acrobat XI wasn't included with the Master Collection, which should be called the Substandard Collection if it doesn't have the latest versions of each software package). Since someone at Adobe didn't think of offering a separate download link for just Acrobat X (unlike every other package on that download page on a non-Adobe.com site which I linked to from an official Adobe page http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cs6-direct-download-links.html), I've since spent 14hrs waiting for the absolutely massive CS6 installer package to find out that Acrobat won't work now (I did have Acrobat Pro 8/CS3 but it's custom file system windows don't work on Mountian Lion, great programming there guys).
And someone make a stable version of Fireworks that doesn't crash every time you're doing something mundane. If there was decent alternatives I would be switching, Adobe buying Macromedia was bad for the industry, the monopoly means they can continue to do such a bad job with their software that we can't do much else but keep using it.

I followed the help ideas, did some of them (some folder renaming, uninstall Adobe Air and then went to Adobe to D/L the new installer and installed it again, and again trying to resart in Safe Mode)... Nothing did the trick...
Then, while still in Safe Mode, after one failure, I opened the main, "Adobe CS6 Design Standard" folder again. I started snooping around, opening the other folders, and in the Payloads folder found whole bunch of software "stuff"... See below, the very first was an Acrobat folder that included the Installer.pkg. So, what the heck, I already spent hours on this, I double-clicked it, and BINGO, it installed the program w/o any issues... I did a regular restart, and the program is working...
...Not sure what you or any Adobe expert would make out of it, but it seems like an easy workaround, so it seems....

  • CS6 Acrobat install error - Mac OSX 10.8.2

    Hi All
First of all I have to say that for the amount of money spent on a software product Adobe's level of support is simple unacceptable.  After spending many hr's on the phone and over 6 calls I gavce up.  Each call the technician started from scratch in trouble shooting and did not even read the ticket info to see what was previously tried.  The last couple of calls after 3 hrs on the phone each time, I was informed that this would be escalated to second and then thrid level support.  Each time I was called back a week later where they left a msg to call back.  When I called back the first person  I talked to was the person again who attempted to trouble shoot the issue and the problem was never escalated   So in the end after about more then 20hrs on the phone, 6 or 7 repeated occasions on the phone with tech support not including the ones where I called and sat on hold for over an hr and gave up, I simply gave up on their support.  Unfortunately this left me with the only option of completely reinstalling OSX.

  • CS6 - Acrobat quits working. Even after uninstall, unable to reinstall.

I've been through this process a couple of times, but now Adobe won't help fix it.  I have CS6 Design and Web Premium. Randomly anything associated with Acrobat X won't work/do anything. It almost pretends to open for a second, but then nothing happens. In the past I've had to reinstall, but now that isn't working either. Below is the error log from the installation. Why does this keep happening?  How do I get it up and running again?

Moving this discussion to the Acrobat Installation and Update Issues forum.  Have you been able to run other pkg installers successfully?  Acrobat uses a different installer than the rest of the Creative Suite so being able to install the other applications would not be the same.

  • Adobe CS6, Acrobat, Distiller & Print settings OK with Yosemite?

Has anyone with CS6 using InDesign and Acrobat software upgraded to Yosemite? Were print settings affected? Distiller functioning properly? InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator OK? Thanks!!!@

First you appear to be position in the forum. This forum is for Acrobat Distiller Server, not Acrobat Distiller on a Server. This is not a minor difference. Acrobat Distiller questions are handled in the Acrobat Windows or Acrobat Mac forum. Secondly, and more importantly, it is against the Acrobat license to use Acrobat and/or Distiller on a Server for the use of more than one person. The reason for this is that Adobe wishes to sell you products like Acrobat Distiller Server (now part of the LiveCycle Suite of products).
Alas, I cannot help you with the problem you are having since I have never heard of the font that is causing you an issue. Perhaps it was a font installed on a printer attached to your old computer/server.

  • I have Windows 8.1 and Adobe CS6 - acrobat just stoped working, won't open anything won't print to pdf. HELP!

Please help me!! I have Windows 8.1 and Adobe CS6 creative Suite. Adobe Acrobat x just quit, It won't open anything and it wont print to PDF. I need this for work!

Typically, the repair is done from the Control Panel>Programs & Features. In the future, try that route. Glad you found something that worked. When you do come to the forums for help, you may not get an immediate response, but may have to wait for someone familiar with your issue happens to check the forum, possibly after work. In any case, glad you have a working product again.

  • Bought MC CS6, Acrobat XI came out, cannot use Acrobat X

I bought Master Collection CS6 about 3 months ago. Acrobat X stopped working today. Acrobat X which I paid for is no longer available in Adobe Application Manager, only Acrobat XI which I do not want to pay for.
I am currently re-installing from the original MC CS6 installer. Who knows, maybe it will work?
If not, what do I do?
Update: Acrobat X Pro allowed me to install an update and I am currently able to use it. I am afraid something bad will happen since it is no longer available in Adobe Application Manager.

    Thanks Karan.
Here is what happened and why I was confused.
I was into about the 9th hour of a long day of work, thinking of every way possible to reduce the number of hours until the day's work was done. I had a few files open in Acrobat X Pro when it barfed and stopped working. I shut several programs down and rebooted, hoping Acrobat would just work again.
When the machine rebooted and I logged in, Acrobat X Pro was gone! It was uninstalled by Adobe Application Mangler or Updater or something. In its place in the Start menu was Acrobat XI Pro. I thought to myself, cool, Adobe is giving me a free version upgrade of Acrobat because they appreciate the money I spent on MC CS6.
I started up Acrobat XI Pro, thinking my day's work would soon be progressing and was greeted by a Trial Version screen. I had not done anything to initiate this. I entered the CS6 license key and it refused to license. To me it looked like Adobe just decided it was time for me to pay more money, for something I didn't even want, I mean, my Acrobat X Pro was kidnapped and thrown in the trash!
So, because I am above average in intelligence I will run the stupid Adobe Aplication Mangler and if I can guess the right buttons to push I would soon be able to get back to work. Well, Acrobat X Pro, which i had purchased, was not an option in the list of software I could install. Why not? I had done nothing to initiate this.
Well, being way above average intelligence, I found the decompressed installer for CS6 and ran set up. I did not have a clue what I would find here, and I had certainly never been told the Adobe Application Manager was only for online subscriptions, it seemed to be the place to go if you were hyper smart like me. Somehow Adobe had neglected to eliminate this option when it deleted Acrobat X Pro from my system, I felt like I was getting away with something and would probably have to pay a price for my insolence down the road.
Acrobat X Pro installed and licensed okay, then I chose Help->Updates and to my surprise Adobe Application Mangler let me update it, surely an oversight on Adobe's part I thought. I mean I might be able to get work done again.
So I was afraid and hit the forums. There I read that if Acrobat stopped working then just install everything from Adobe Application Mangler and my software would not suddenly stop working in the future. Of course, I could not install Acrobat X Pro from AAM, so I still don't know if things will decide to commit suicide in the future and I will have to spend hours again getting things working.
I think you need to explain very clearly why this occured to me, why Acrobat X Pro went away without any action on my part, and what I can do to avoid this when the next version of Acrobat Pro comes out.
    Thank you,
    -Gary
