CSNY live CD, need seperate tracks for songs, CD is 1 track for

Love my new Zen Nano, does most everything I need @ this time. However there is a problem I need help with.
Li've CSNY CD rips as track. Tried playing the track & pause @ start of good song-then hit record and play. End of good song stop record, then pause,?and file away. repeat process. Seperate files showed up in library. Transferred to Zen and played but - no sound !? Everything I did was using Creative software that came with Zen. Do I need a utility or just a fellow CSNY fan to help me out ?Are PM's available on this forum/site ?

I used the CD player in my computer. Thus I chose CD audio as input. NO analog here !Did not want to use rip mode as I have no way to edit song/songs out of the 65 minute track [ ]? ...that is?the problem. Went to majorgeeks and got totally lost in all the techno-babble-geek-speak.Back to square one :? how do you edit a song/songs from a li've album thats 65 min long and was recorded as ONE TRACK ?Maybe I'll? rip/burn a blank cd and try to edit from thereAny good source for mp3 file sharing? ( free of coarse )I am stubborn & will not give up till I get this done .

I'd suggest you consider a cloud-based file sharing service such as Dropbox for this sort of use. iOS is not designed to be synched with more than one iTunes library at a time, so attempting to use it as you describe, connecting a single iPad to multiple computers, almost certainly won't work as you intend and is likely to cause nothing but headaches.

Need help recording live drums on seperate tracks.

I used to be a professional recording engineer, and as such took pride in knowing my way around a console. But with GB I am stumped.
I need to record a live drummer, and subsequently place each drum on a seperate "track" as when recording analog.
Being totally new to hard disc recording, means learning all over again. Drums are set & miced, what do I need to make this happen (or is it even possible in GB)?
Watched the seminar for Logic, and sure enough there was a drum kit properly recorded on individual tracks, but they gave no detailed explination of how that was done.

Basically you select the channels for each track in
the DAW. In this case GB.
At the bottom of the 'track info' window on your real
instrument (mic) tracks use the 'input' pulldown menu
to assign channels for each mic for each track you
wish to record on.
In case you are not familiar enough with GB.
If the track info window is not open. You can open it
by double clicking on the track, or under 'Track'
menu use: Show Track Info.
Or keystroke: 'Command I'.
The available channels will be available and show in
the input pulldown menu.
So basically you will want an interface with the
right I/0.
Depending on what you may have been used to in the
past for analog quality.
You may wish to take some time to research what's
available for the right amount of I/O with good pre's
and conversion. There is definitely a line of
demarcation in the quality of analog circuits and
digital converters and clock.
It may or may not matter to you, I don't know but
judging from your past and post maybe worth a
mention. However, I don't know to what standards you
wish to work in.
Standards such as Alan Parsons, Geoff Emerick, and Jeff Lynne.
Also if you want to use outboard analog while
tracking with an interface you may want to have
insert I/O available.
And of course if you are wanting to use bussing
sends, complete editing, etc. within your DAW you
will want start looking at other DAW's like Logic or
PT or DP, etc.
Thanks, I want to get started with GB, and have some basic tracks laid & get Logic in a couple of months. Got to have bussing send/recieve for fx on SN, EQing the kit, compression, etc.

Customized netweaver login screen needs seperate login for every mime

we are running ECC6 and have customzed our netweaver login screen (copied CL_ICF_SYSTEM_LOGIN to <ownClass>, redefined HTM_LOGIN, maintained it in SICF, etc.).
And it works great - but:
At the first call the system wants login/pw of each mime used on the login screen.
But only for the first time.
I can't repeat it.
But it happens to every user.
Correctly deleting cookies (close all screens; control->internet options-> delete cookies) CANNOT repeat the behaviour.
Globally invalidating http server cache CANNOT repeat the behaviour.
mimes on login screen are called like:
https://<servername>:<https-port>/sap/bc/bsp/sap/public/bc/bsp/<applname>/xy.jpg
So we need a login to see our login screen
pls help...

Bugger here is that the code which retrieves the object from the MIME repository makes an authorization check.
CL_MIME_SERVICES method -> MIME_CHECK_AUTHORITY
So it cannot run under SAPSYS as the user cannot be assigned any authority, let alone S_DEVELOP... (which in my opinion is much too strict here...). You will need to save a SERVICE user's logon credentials into the ICF service to make it visible to the user who has not logged in yet.
Or... use SSO..

There is no structural requirement for your site files other
than the one
you impose. Put them anywhere you want within your site....

I am using smartfoms conveting this into PDF document , iam send email / fax / print .The scenerio is for customer 1 , send through email, Cust 2 send thru FAX etc . But for both same spool is generated with same number .I need seperate spool for each . Can any one share your thoughts ......

check the control_parameters, output_options, and other mail related parameters being passed for each customer.

Need help in recording multiple seperate tracks

hello, i've used cool edit and now audition to record for the last eight years or so. however, i've never gone byond tracking more then one mic at a time in the past. with some upcoming projects i will be tracking a full band and need to record multiple mics (most challenging being drums) and i need to be able to assign each mic to its own seperate track in real time.
i will be using a PreSonus firebox which was four inputs. i can make do with four mics just fine. my only problem is i can't find any info and i'm not even sure audition allows for simultaneous multi channel recording. it is imperative i be able to have separation for each mic for mixing. any advice/help? will i be forced to find another program?

Audition handles multitrack recording just fine.
You don't say what version of Audition you have (there are variations in how to set up the recording) but if you're on the current 3.0 version, you'd:
Under Edit/Audio Hardware Set up, click on the Multitrack tab at the top. On the "Audio Driver" menu, select the appriopriate Presonus driver. Under "Default Input" Select the Presonus interface. Also select it on the Output menu if you want to outuput sound that way for monitoring. Click Okay.
Go to Multitrack view in the main programme.
Work down the inputs for each track (marked with a right-facing arrow) and select "Mono" and the Presonus output you wish to go to that track. If you want to output back to the Presonus, do the same with the output selection, otherwise just leave it to "Main".
(At this point, I suggest you save a session as "Basic multi setup" or similar to make it faster for the next take--then do a "Save As" for the actual recording you're about to do.)
Click the "R" button on each track you wish to record in (you don't have to do all tracks every time) to arm for record.
Click the main Record button to actually start recording.
If you have an earlier version of Audition or Cool Edit Pro, the procedure is similar but some of the controls are accessed in different ways.

Do you ever visit a friend or realtive with a Mac who has faster internet? Maybe the local library has Macs on a fast line. If so, get a USB thumb drive and put this link on it from your computer:

When you are at some place that has a Mac with a decent download speed. insert the thumb drive in that Mac and click on the first link ("DL1399") and direct the download to your thumb drive. Now do the same this with the second link.
