CSS 3.0 Problem

Facing some problem plz help me out:-
How to create rounded box with help of CSS 3.0

Border radius (see below) this will not work in any IE browser lower than version 9. (so virtually useless in my opinion)
#wrapper {
width: 300px;
height: 300px;
background-color: #36F;
-moz-border-radius: 10px;
-webkit-border-radius: 10px;
border-radius: 10px;

  • Css centering layout problem

    Hi,
    I'm building a website from a photoshop design and I have a
    problem with the layout I can't see how to fix:
    I have a header and a footer which both need to stay centered
    and expand to whatever the browser window width is set to.
    Between them I have a div of the main content of the pages
    which also needs to be centered.
    All seems very simple. I would normally just have a big div
    around the whole page with an align="center". Job done.
    But the problem is the space to the left of the content div
    needs to be grey and the space on the right needs to be black.
    Therefore I assume I'm going to need 3 divs. 2 for the left and
    right spaces and another with the main content between them.
    Both the side divs will need to expand somehow to fill the
    space while keeping the fixed width content div centered. But I
    think they will also have to be floated to sit side by side.
    I cant seem to get the divs to stay in the correct places or
    keep the side ones filling the space between the content div and
    the edges of the browser.
    Can anyone help?
    Thanks,
    Olliebear

  • CSS Logo position problem

    Hello
    I have been recently working on a web project. In the project I have a css file Thats suppose to position the logo image.
    This is the css code:
    /** LOGO */
    #logo {
    width: 830px;
    height: 90px;
    margin: 0 auto;
    margin-top: 10px;
    margin-left: 200px;
    background: url(images/img04.jpg) no-repeat left top;
    Margin-top moves the logo down and margin-left moves the logo in alignment. The problem is that when I view the
    page on different screen sizes margin-left makes the logo image automatically move to the middle of the page.
    Instead of staying in the required position.
    Can any one help.
    Thanks.

  • CSS 11150 Booting Problem

    Dear All,
    After a power outage, one of our CSS is failing to boot up properly. Every time its rebooted, it goes straight to the OFFDM although the Primary boot device has been selected to be Disk. I have formatted the
    Disk and loaded a new image, it booted with the new image once and its
    Loading to OFFDM every time its rebooted.
    I would be really grateful if someone could shed some light on this problem.
    Regards,
    Zahid

    You could check the boot.log for error messages inorder to find out what the problem could be.

  • CSS Align right problem

    Hi
    I am using the following css to align a div to the right hand
    side of the
    page:
    #headerRight { RIGHT: 10px; MARGIN-RIGHT: 0px; POSITION:
    absolute; TOP: 5px;
    align: right; border: 0; width: 235px;}
    The above seems to work well, except for one small annoying
    problem. If the
    content of the page is wide and causes the horizontal scroll
    bar to appear,
    then the div seems to work as it appears 10px from the right
    side of the
    window. However if I move the horizontal scroll bar over to
    the right, then
    the div doesnt move accordingly.
    If I then resize the browser window, then the div moves and
    always lines up
    10px from the edge no matter what size the window is.
    Anyone know where I am going wrong, or need any more
    information?
    Thanks
    Brendan

    =========================================

    Solved the problem by using the following javascript code:
    function scrollDetect(){
    document.getElementById("headerRight").style.left =
    document.body.clientWidth - 245 + document.body.scrollLeft;
    setInterval("scrollDetect()", 500);
    Where 245 is the width of the div.
    Only problem is that the code probably isnt cross browser at
    the moment, but
    I'll work on that.
    Thanks again for all your help.

  • CSS 11050 NAT problem

    Hi, I have a problem with the NAT group intercepting connections to a PIX on the local VLAN. VLAN1 on the LB is the outside internet connection, VLAN2 is internal, at 10.0.10.0/24. The PIX IP is 10.0.10.254. If a webserver at 10.0.10.5 tries to connect to a server behind the PIX, the PIX logs a connection not from 10.0.10.5, but from the NAT group, which has an external IP address. Not only does this slow things down, but confuses the ACL config on the PIX. Any way to force devices to directly connect on the local VLAN, as one would normally expect? Thanks!

    What happens is the traffic that will use the group will need to match the source/dest configured in the ACL, but more importantly, the VLAN you apply to the ACL itself will determine what traffic is even looked at in the ACL itself. So if you apply vlan1 to the ACL, then only traffic coming into the CSS via VLAN1 will use the acl (assuming it matches the clause criteria configured).
    By using the ACL approach, you could put those ip addresses you want to NAT in the first clauses, and then leave out the ones you do not want to NAT. If there is no ACL match, then there will be no NAT.
    Instead of specifying all the ip addreses in separate ACLs, you can use the subnet mask to create a range of addresses.
    Hope this help. I do agree that this can be a bit of a maint challenge having to do this, but I'm not sure any other option exists unless there is something different about the way you have your source groups configured.
    Regards
    Pete..

  • CSS Image loading problem by dynamically loading from fxml file?

    h1. Introduction
    The application I am developing loads an FXML file from a Controller. The FXML uses CSS and images for buttons are set in the CSS.
    CSS directory structure
    <package>.fxml
    Images
    <package>.fxml.resources.<subdir>
    Example CSS Code
    .buttonImage {
        -fx-background-image: url("resources/subdir/image.png");
    }Example loading fxml from controller code
             URL location = getClass().getResource("/package/fxml/UI.fxml");
             FXMLLoader fxmlLoader = new FXMLLoader(location);
             fxmlLoader.setLocation(location);
             fxmlLoader.setBuilderFactory(new JavaFXBuilderFactory());
             Parent root = (Parent)fxmlLoader.load(location.openStream());
             Controller = (Controller) fxmlLoader.getController();
             newPane.getChildren().add(root);h1. Problem
    The fxml file does not load and causes the following error:
    javafx.fxml.LoadException: Page language not specified.Note, the fxml file loaded correctly before images were added.
    Any ideas of what might be going wrong?
    h1. Attempted
    I have attempted the following: tried changing the url of the image as an absolute path.

    No Problem: Note, this is the actual FXML, my previous examples were simplifications of package names and class names in order to directly illustrate the problem. Note, I am using SceneBuilder to develop the FXML file.

  • Css style sheet problems

    Using DW CS3
    problem 1
    can I re-write below so that
    1    link, hover, visited etc can be written without all the repetition if possible
    2    link, hover, visited etc can be written "once" to apply to everything, body table etc   if possible
    3
    What might cause this please?
    Sometimes I cannot override the style sheet
    I highlight the text
    i select the class
    DW writes the code but in the browser it still obeys the style sheet???
    4  "whitelink" won't work in the body and only in some tables???
    many thanks,

    Forgot to answer to your last two questions:
    Sometimes I cannot override the style sheet
    I highlight the text
    i select the class
    DW writes the code but in the browser it still obeys the style sheet???
    4  "whitelink" won't work in the body and only in some tables???
    I suspect you are adding classes to the wrong element on the page.  Let me explain:
    if you intend to select a link, then you click on the linked text in Design Window and then select the <a> tag for that link, on the Tag Selector Bar at the bottom of the Design Window.  However, if you then select "whitelink" you will need to CHANGE MY CSS, because now yoru are adding the class to the A tag, not to one of its parents as we have the CSS selector written now.  You would have to change this:
    a.whitelink:link  {
          color: white
    a.whitelink:visited {
        color: yellow
    a.whitelink:visited:hover {
        color: white
    a.whitelink:hover {
        color: yellow
    BUT- It would actually be better to leave the CSS the way I had it originally and instead to apply the "whitelink" class to a Parent tag, one, or more,  that wrap around the portion of your page that needs this class for all the A tags within.  So if there is a div or a table or some tds or some parents that enclose all the links you need white, then THOSE are the tags to select on the Tag Selector Bar to add the whitelink class to.
    Hope that makes sense.

  • Css copy paste problem still a problem in Dreamweaver CS4

    Hi all, I know this one has been discussed before, but this is still a major usability issues with the product with no practical solution available.
    For some reason no one seems to be able to mark http://forums.adobe.com/thread/209290?start=50&tstart=0 as unanswered, yet numerous posts stating it isn't resolved.
    Therefore, I'm starting this request to see if there is a solution.
    For those of you unaware, the issue affects Dreamweaver CS4 code view.  After editing in code view (usually with CSS files though others have reported other code types) for a little while (sometimes within seconds, sometimes after many minutes of use) and then when you copy (Ctrl-C) the application selects all text and copies that.  Usability wise, you've just lost your place in the code (which you may have spent some time finding in a complex file) and what you wanted to copy is not what's in the clipboard.  So frustrating.
    The issue is similarly repeated with pasting (i.e. you select some text or a place to paste and the system selects all before pasting from clipboard).
    So does anyone know of a patch to fix this yet?
    Thanks

    This is a user to user forum and Adobe Technical people very rarely visit the forum.

  • Css copy paste problem in Dreamweaver CS4

    Having a problem in CS4 when I want to copy and paste things
    in my stylesheet.
    Whenever I do ctrl +c to select a something the whole
    stylesheet gets selected. And that is not what I want.
    Even is I want to copy something from an other css into the
    css I am working on it won't do the job.
    Anyone having the same problem and found a solution?

    I observe this problem too on my Vista x64 machine with CS4
    using dual monitors and split code/design views, and have found
    others who have this problem by searching Google.
    Description of problem: Roughly 50% of the time, when
    switching between files (regardless of type) and trying to select a
    block of code with my mouse (dragging over some code with the left
    button), it appears to work normally (the intended code is
    highlighted). However, when then attempting to CTRL-C (cut) or
    paste, the selected code instantly changes to a much larger block
    of code (usually selecting a specific div block or something). The
    cut or pasted code is then the larger (unintended) block of code.
    Once the code view selection works for a particular file
    (either it worked from the start or I poked at it long enough to
    work), it seems to remain working until switching to another file
    and then returning.
    Also, Dreamweaver CS3 didn't have this problem, so it's CS4
    only.
    This is a workflow nuisance much like a word-processor
    deciding to insert a % character randomly every 10 seconds while
    typing.
    I found a Google groups thread
    here
    in which a poster writes that deleting the Dreamweaver
    configuration file fixes this temporarily (the problem eventually
    shows up again, and you lose all your customizations by doing
    this). The posters in this thread also describe the same problem
    with other hardware configurations.
    My current workaround is to type return then backspace when
    dropping in to the code-view of another file--kind of a pain, but
    at least predictable. I also tried avoided the issue by: (a)
    selecting something in the design view and then selecting something
    in the code view, and/or (b) telling Dreamweaver to show the
    "element view" (right click in design view, element view, Full),
    but this latter action may be superfluous.
    I'd be very interested if someone were to post a simple fix
    for this problem.
    thanks!
    JP
    PS. David: I've learned a lot from your books. Thanks for
    writing them!

  • CSS Liquid Layout Problem

    I'm trying to do a simple masthead that will span the width
    of the page. The masthead consists of a logo on the left, and a big
    graphic on the right (it is a long story...). The left side of the
    big graphic fades into the background, and the logo and .the
    graphic move apart as the page is made wider.
    Everything is fine as long as the browser window is wide
    enough for both. As I shrink the window, however, the graphic drops
    below the logo and the masthead is suddenly twice as high. What I
    want to happen is for horizontal scroll bars to appear when the
    extra space between the logo and the graphic has been squeezed out.
    Here is the HTML:
    <div id="masthead">
    <div id="logo"><img src="images/logo.jpg"
    /></div>
    <div id="graphic"><img src="images/graphic.jpg"
    /></div>
    </div>
    And the CSS:
    #masthead {
    background-image: url(images/masthead-bg.gif);
    white-space: nowrap;
    max-height: 89px;
    #logo {
    width: 148px;
    height: 89px;
    float: left;
    #graphic {
    width: 736px;
    height: 89px;
    float:right;
    I'd be grateful for any suggestions.

    Luke,
    Put the background image on the body. By default, it will
    tile to fill
    the entire browser window.

  • CSS load balancing problem

    Hi,
    I have two CSS that I use to load balance RDP connections to two WTS servers. I dont have switch behind CSS so they are connected back-to-back via cable. All server facing ports (including back-to-back ports) are in the same VLAN.
    CSS1 is primary for the VIP address and for redundant interface address, and CSS2 is standby.
    So, when I connect WTS-1 to CSS-1 and WTS-2 to CSS-2, CSS1 sees both services as active and everything seems fine. If WTS-2 is disconnected, WTS2 service on CSS1 is down etc.
    In sticky table, I can see that CSS1 is load balancing request to both servers, but the problem is that only RDP connections to WTS-1(server directly connected to CSS1) work fine , and connections that are load balanced to WTS-2 are dropped??? Direct RDP connection to WTS-2 IP works fine.
    If I connect WTS-2 to CSS1, so both WTS servers are connected to CSS1 everything works fine.
    Can anyone tell what can be wrong?
    Configurations are in the attachment.
    Thanks for help.
    Regards,
    Branimir

    try the command 'ip uncond' on both CSS.
    It will guarantees that the response from WTS-2 comes back to CSS1.
    Gilles.
