CSS not loaded on some PC's for BSP

We are just about ready to go live. Our users are out there testing. For the majority of the users they see the BSP that we designed exactly as they should. For a few others when a screen comes up it appears without the CSS stylesheet and the formatting looks off. It's like the MIME object isn't found or active. Two people sitting next to each other see the same screen completely different.
Anyone seen this before, or know what settings are causing this?

Hi Anthony,
we had the same problem in our company. We found out that the problem was caused by our IE configuration script. Btw please check if you have the same problem when you use https. We switched over to https and don't have the problem anymore.

Site does not load after some minutes of creation or after restart the server

Hello,
I have been asked to create a test enviroment identical to the production enviroment. So, what I did was:
Backed up the production web application's content database: Prod_WSS_ContentDB
Created new test servers (domain controller, sql server and sharepoint 2013 server) in a new, completely isolated, network environment, without any connection with the production environment (specifically Azure)
Created a new web application in test environment with a new content database.
Dismounted the new content database with powershell: Dismount-spcontentdatabase Test_WSS_Content
Copy the Prod_WSS_ContentDB database to the test sql server and restored it with Management Studio.
Mount the Prod_WSS_ContentDB databe to the web application with powershell:
Mount-spcontentdatabse Prod_WSS_ContentDB -WebApplication http://testsp/
Then, when I type http://testsp in the browser it redirects me to http://testsp/SitePages/Home.aspx
and the site loads exactly as the production environment.
But, after some minutes, or if I restart the Sharepoint Server, when I navigate to
http://sitesp I am redirected to http://testsp/SitePages/Home.aspx
as expected, but the site does not load, the browser just show a complety blank page.
The Central Administration site loads normally.
Trying to fix it I found that if I dismount the content database Prod_WSS_ContentDB, then mount the test database Test_WSS_Content,
then navigate to the site, dismount Test_WSS_Content and finally mount again Prod_WSS_ContentDB, the site loads normally, no blank page, but after some minutes or if I restart the same happens again.
For the error event I receice in event viewer it seems that the problem is related to database. I have not found a solution for this error... How can I solve this?

According to your post, my understanding is that Site does not load after some minutes of creation or after restart the server.
Please make sure you create a test environment for existing production site correctly.

Starting your Mac in "Safe Mode" (see below) will load only Apple-provided kernel extensions. Observing its perfomance in that mode will be instructive.
The problems you describe are likely to have been caused by garbage software of which "TechTool Pro" is only one example. That system has been altered from its factory configuration through the installation of several third party system modifications, any one of which can cause poor performance. Interaction between two or more is another possibility. Running a torrent client is another way of inviting malware intrusion.
Safe Mode or "Safe Boot" is a troubleshooting mode that bypasses all third party system extensions and loads only required system components. Read about it: Starting up in Safe Mode
You must disable FileVault before you can start your Mac in Safe Mode.
Starting your Mac in Safe Mode will take longer than usual, graphics will not render smoothly, audio is disabled on some Macs, and some programs (iTunes for example) may not work at all.
Merely starting your Mac in Safe Mode is not intended to resolve the problem, it's to observe its performance without certain additional components.
To end Safe Mode restart your Mac normally. Shutdown will take longer as well.

CSS not loading

I look at this page in IE and it seems to load ok. Looking at
it in FF 2.0.0.11 the css seems to not be loading but if I click
Edit CSS in my webdeveloper tool bar it loads the css. When I view
the site on my development server it works fine in all browsers.
Can anyone offer an explanation.

CSS 11501 Load Balancing with X-forwarded-for

Hi,
We have a pair of CSS 11501,
Currently it is using source ip for load balancing and 5 servers as backend , however we have users loggin in using http and based on its source IP (ISP PROXY) , it is forwarded to SERVER A.
However, we have a SSL page and when the client switches over to SSL , it is forwarded to SERVER B/C/D/E based on its source IP ( REAL CLIENT IP) .
This will cause the user to be terminated as the 5 servers are independent and not running in a cluster.
Is there any way that we can use the X-Forwarded-For address to load balance so that when users loging , they are sent to SERVER A (Based on X-Forwarded-For Header IP which translate to REAL CLIENT IP).
This way we are able to also send it back to the same server when it uses SSL.
I believe that we should be able to load balance using X-Forwarded-For IP or to rewrite the X-Forwarded-For IP into client source IP

Hi,
Unfortunately CSS does not support X-Forwarded-For, and even if CSS supports that, this wont work if you are not using SSL termination.
One option that you can use here, is using SSL termination, so you can manage the SSL traffic on HTTP on the CSS, in this way you can use the same HTTP content rule which is the one currently working.
In summary, you will have an SSL content rule that will decrypt the traffic, and this one will use the same content rule that already exist for HTTP, in case that the server is the one doing the redirect to SSL, but this is something that requires testing since depending on the redirect behavior we might have a redirect loop, but without details it is kind of hard to confirm that you will face this with this option.
Another option, which is less complex, is to use a portless content rule, so this content rule will match port 443 and 80 at the same time, and using sticky or balance based on source IP, you will get the same result with less config. The downside is the troubleshooting, but in this way you will have what you want.

Here the content rule is not looking for the destination port, it is just looking for the source IP, and HTTP and HTTPS will end all the time on the same server.

Movie not loaded on some sites

why when i access some porn sites, the videos won't play???
it's just all-black and when i right click it appears movie not loaded.
i've tried uninstall flash plugins many times, unistall firefox, clear cache but nothing help..

You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:
Reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
*Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
*Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
*Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
Clear the cache and cookies only from websites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
*Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.

You can check for problems with current Flash plugin versions and try these:
*disable a possible RealPlayer Browser Record Plugin extension for Firefox and update the RealPlayer if installed

*disable hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin

When turning on my mac all i get is the 1st screen it will not load to the next screen for log in pls help

Could be many things, we should start with this...
"Try Disk Utility
1. Insert the Mac OS X Install disc, then restart the computer while holding the C key.
2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu at top of the screen. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)
*Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.*
3. Click the First Aid tab.
4. Select your Mac OS X volume.
5. Click Repair Disk, (not Repair Permissions). Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk."

Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)
If perchance you can't find your install Disc, at least try it from the Safe Boot part onward.
If 10.7.0 or later...
Bootup holding CMD+r, or the Option/alt key to boot from the Restore partitirion & use Disk Utility from there.

CSS not loading when application is packaged.

I'm having an odd issue that I can't resolve.
I'm developing a simple air application using javascript
(jquery framework), CSS and html. It all works fine while I build
and debug it but when I package the application it doesn't seem to
load the CSS file.

One of my install base has this issue on a PC running windows
XP. It's obviously a style sheet problem, but both of my style
sheets have always had the rel="stylesheet" attribute. I've
validated the html document as well and they conform.

ITunes Store is not loading at all - same problem for Safari

Dear all,
Got the a.m. problem. iTunes Store is not loading at all. Safari in the same way. It stops while loading any site. After "www." the developement bar stops and is giving up as well. Guess for malfunction of Safari also the problem for the iTunes Store occurs.
What can I do? I do not remember having changed anything. All version are on the newest version and should be ready to go.

i think i could say they're only saving grace is being able to swap music from different computers. Had to go on my old mac g5 to access the store as it still has the old version of itunes and then transfer them with the shared library feature. But still it shouldn't have been that hard. Very disappointed with the lack of support from one of the biggest companies in the world. such an inconvenience, especially when it's then that's losing the money with the lack of access to the store.

Hmmm. There's a couple of things that might be going on with that one.
Let's try an uninstall and reinstall of QuickTime first.
If you're using XP, head into your Add or Remove Programs control panel. Select "QuickTime", click "Change" and then click "Remove".
If you're using & or Vista, head into your Uninstall a program control panel, select QuickTime, and then click "Uninstall".
You can get QuickTime back either via Apple Software Update (in your Start menu go "All Programs > Apple Software Update" ... QuickTime should appear in the "New Programs" section), or by downloading a QuickTimeInstaller.exe from the following location:

I have deleloped firefox npapi plugin which is working fine in some system and not loading in some system for firefox 4.

Npapi plugin developed for application was working absolutely fine for firefox version upto 3.6.
But in firefox 4.0 Its behavior is not consistent.
For some computer its working fine bt for some computer its not getting loaded in webpage.Here i have use <embed> tag to load plugin from webpage.

My Adobe Reader Plugin does not Load in Some Machines

Hi ,
I have created a Plugin for Adobe Reader 9 and Adobe Reader X.
As per the licence it has to work with both the version.
My plugin gets loaded in Adobe Reader 9 and Adobe Reader X versions only in development machines and few of the testing machines and My plugin works fine in these machine as per the task it has to do.
I tried to test My plugin in some machines which has same configuration as that of the machines where My plugin was able to load, but i could see My plugin loaded only in some machines and all other machine its not getting loaded.
Please some one let me know why is this happening and how to overcome this. I think i am missing something to load My Plugin but in some machines i was able to load My plugin without doing any settings other than copying My plugin's .api file to Reader Plugin's folder.

I was getting the below error when i saw the EventViewer.

Dependent Assembly Microsoft.VC90.DebugCRT,processorArchitecture="x86",publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",typ e="win32",version="9.0.21022.8" could not be found. Please use sxstrace.exe for detailed diagnosis.
Now i added the required Redistributables while packing all the files and tested it in target machine..
