CSS11501 Sticky connection based on msisdn field

Hi there,
Mobile GSM clients connect through WAPGW over CSS to real servers. We want to stick their connections based on msisdn field. As it seems this field is not recognized by CSS since "lookup fail" counter increases ant there is no match. We have tried with header-field msisdn exist and also with partial match of phone number just for testing purposes (header-filed msisdn contain ...). The result was the same. I believe this can be a case of description of msisdn field in http header which is not standardized and depends on WAPGW. Our WAPGW is sending this field like "User-Identity-Forward-msisdn=". How can we convince CSS to recognize this field?

the CSS looks for the following header => MSISDN: .....
Anything else will not match.
This is not configurable.

It is very helpful and gives the right answer to my question.
Just a clarification through my scenario; the CSS load balances across 3-servers at 3 different ports. Each server may handle a request to any of these different ports.
On top of each server sits an APACHE that also publishes three uri that the client hits. These uri are common for all servers.
Thus, in order to make sticky connections to my understanding, we should not check the cookie from the session that the client initiates (I mean any jessionid originated by hitting e.g. www.company1.com) but the server IP and port. There are also www.company2.com and www.company3.com.
Each of them resides on www.server1.com, www.server2.com and www.server3.com
That means a mixed configuration, if the jsessionid cannot contain a constant. As far I have seen this is dynamic and quite difficult to make it constant. Have you ever come across with this ? Is this possible (I mean a constant in the jsessionid)? It is sufficient to me, if this can be implemented. I will ask the developer to do so, but we donnot know whether this is achievable.
Any suggestions that you may have are more than welcome.

This is an hot topic in content switching If using IP src sticky, as it seems you are doing, it wouldn't make much difference tweaking persistent parameter.
However, just for reference, it may occur that CSS may need to switch servers within the same rule due to two particular reasons:
1) sticky cookies/cookieurl/url
2) sorry servers
So, by default the CSS, once matched the content rule, will take only one LB decision per TCP connection, based on the first HTTP request.
With HTTP 1.1 a connection may be used for several requests and responses, and potentially a new LB decision might be needed on each request, if this is the case the CSS needs to be explicitly configured with:
#no persistent
Now regarding flow-timeout-multiplier and sticky-inact-timeout, the former refers to the connection idle timeout parameter, it regulates the time a flow will remain in the connection table while idle. In other words, it is the time period that must elapse for an idle flow before the CSS cleans up the flow.
Sticky-inact-timeout defines the inactivity timeout period on a sticky connection before the CSS removes the sticky entry from the sticky table.

How to find the list of transaction code based on a field ?

I have a unique requirement.We are adding a new field into our system and want to know which all t-code contains that field ? So that we can update the user training manual. Can some one tell me the ways and means of finding the list of all the t-code ( or where used e.g functional area ) based on " a field" ?

2. click on the text "Cost Center"
3. hit F1
4. Click on the technical information
5. in the next screen double click on Field name :KOSTL
6. Select the row for the component KOSTL
7. Click on the display list
8. In the next screen, in the object name:KBAS
Drilldown to transactions.
Here you get a complete list of the transactions.

I am looking for an user exit which allows me to hide some fields based on other field's value.
For example, I have field 1 and field 2. When I open my notification, if the value of field 2 is 'aaa', field 1 has to be hidden.
There should be an user exit but I can't find it...

Changing a field based on another field

hi one and all
i am looking for a way to change a field based on another field. if i have item 2 and item 8 on the page and item 8 needs to be required based on item 2 based on a requirement, how would this be done.
ex if item 2 has a PO inputed, when it is moved off the field, item 8 should be changed from required false to required true. i have tried in both the process request and process form request with no luck
any suggestions.

that has the following

Table Control: make a field editable or not based on another field value

HI All,
How to make a column field input enabled or disabled based on another field value in a Table Control.
Here's the scenario:
I have a table control with two columns, KTOKK and LIFNR. Now for certain KTOKK, the LIFNR field should be editable and for certain KTOKK it should not be editable.
Eg., KTOKK = 0001 => LIFNR field is not editable.
KTOKK = ZKTO => LIFNR field is editable.
But these fields are in a table control.

Multiple IDOCs based on multiple fields in File to IDOC mapping

Hello Experts,
     I have a requirement to create multiple IDOCs based on multiple fields.
     Earlier my requirement is to create IDOCs based on ShipID (i.e., for every ShipID new IDOC...I achieved this).
     But now the requirement was to create IDOC based on two more fields like
Source:
     ShipID1
     FieldA with value1
     FieldB with value1
Target :
     1 IDOC to create
and If
Source:
     ShipID1
     FiledA with Value2
     FiledB with Value2
     ShipID1
     FiledA with Value1
     FiledB with Value2
Target:
     2 IDOCs based on FiledA
Like wise IDOC should create for every change in FiledA and FieldB.
If FiledA and FiledB has no changes then create IDOC based on ShipID
please help me in achieving this as this is an urgent requirement.

Just concat all the three fields - shipID1, FieldA and FieldB and
remove contexts
split by value (value changed)
collapse contexts
This way whenever there is a change in any of the above fields you'll have separate IDOC..

Please Help, I want to change field value in a table, based on another field value in the same row (for each added row)

Let me make sure u r working with table control.
First u have to create a event(VALIDATE) to do the validation.
Inside the event,
1. First get the current index where user has pointed the curson
2. Once u get the index read the internal table with index value.
3. Now u can compare the col1 and col2 values and populate the error message.
1. DATA : lo_elt TYPE REF TO if_wd_context_element,
l_index type i.
lo_elt = wdevent->get_context_element( name = 'CONTEXT_ELEMENT' ).
CALL METHOD LO_ELT->GET_INDEX( RECEIVING MY_INDEX = l_index.
above code should be written inside the event.

Multi-mapping based on content field

Hi guys,
I'm doing a scenario with mult-imapping 1x2, based on content field I'll create message1 or message2. If the source content has both key fields (ex. A = message1 and B = message2) the scenario works well, but if only one key field comes (ex. A to create only message1), an error occurs inside the transformation step of BPM. It seams BPM is waiting for message2 ...
(note: I'm using BPM because one of these messages is an IDoc)
Anyone has faced this issue?

Thanks for the prompt answers.
I already have the occurrences with 0..1 (optional) and it doesn't work :s If I look into message mapping, I see that message1 and message2 are always 1..1 and there is no way to change it. In the messages tab you can only change the occurrence for the low level of each message1 or message2. Every time I test this mapping the header of message2 is always created even without content and thats the problem and I don't know how to fix it...
Any ideas?
