CST issues

Hi
I  stoped all the CST inputs in marketting doc. But how can i sent the cst tax amounts to item cost?
Pls give me your valueble suggestions.
regards

Hi Raja,
I think you want to inventories the CST paid on item while purchase. For this, you need to put Non-Deductible Percentage in CST  tax code as 100.
Hope this help.
Regards,
Abhishek

  • Issue in Billing doc CST

    Hi Gurus,
At the time of billing CST is calculated item wise for all 3 materials but when we see accounting doc
it shows only one cst line item with collected total of all three materials, I analysis the same & found out that the system takes that amount from header level.
How to solve this mistake,as my client wants it item wise not single entry for all items??
Following entry will be passed at the time of billing
    Customer Account Dr
    Revenue Cr
    Excise Duty Payable Cr
Sales Tax Payable (local or central) Cr
the same entry gets repeated with everry new material exept CST.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Sany.

you are right! must be F
    and try another thing:
goto your item (see my path in spro) and set Relev. for Bill "F" -Relevant to order-rel. bil.doc. - status acc.to invoice qty
i guess in your case you need to bill your order only with the same qnty (example: order has 6 kg, bill must have 6 kg)

  • Issue in COGS when CST purchase

    Dear Experts
Could u plz help me in this regard
How to map to get True Profit? while doing Purchasing CST Items.

    HI!
For CST tax codes, you need to put non-detectable percentage as 100 on Tax Setup window. So, the CST cost will be posted to Itemcost itself during Purchase invoice

Below is a on going chat i am having with a PIX expert... Can anyone see where the problem is when you read the message below???
Cisco ASA 5510 configuration for host inside private network
Question: We have a Citrix host behind a new 5510 that needs to be accessed by the public. I have tried to follow the examples on cisco.com but still continue to get errors. I KNOW I am missing something simple. I have taken out all my 'tries' and have basic config below with errors.
I am new to PIX/ASA and would live some suggestions on the proper Access Group and corresponding ACL to get the 192.168.71.100/72.54.197.26 Citrix server to accept ssl from outside.

Your reverse static needs to be taken out. then you need to do a "clear xlate" command.  do that and post your config again and let me see it.  I'll be standing by.

Ok so at this point if you issues a clear xlate command that would have flushed the translation table and citrix should be able to get out with the current configuration.  If it can't post the logs for it..  This is the right config for what you want to do.

ok so firewall is showing the rules for the inbound stuff working, but the citrix server is not responding that is why you are getting a SYN timeout.
Does your citrix box have multiple IP addresses or multiple NICs?
What is the default gateway on the citrix box.
I can guarantee you that the config is good.
The logs show sessions getting created - not blocked so its not the firewall causing the problem.  Something else is not quite right.

This network is in production. CurrentIy have a cheesy Lynksys router (the only thing it does is NAT for Citrix) and a "Transistion" throwdown firewall with two simple rules that allow all and allow outside to Citrix.
The Citrix has one nic with default gatewway same as all other devices on network (72.2) and goes out just fine until I cut over to 5510. Then is can not get out. (and yes, all other equipment is turned off and the switches are power cycled afer I power up 5510 to make sure I am not having switch arp issues)
The Citrix is in use 24/7 by remote users so I can't switch back and forth. (especialy during day when everybody goes out to Inet via this unit or the cheesy gear I am replacing)
I see the connections too but it connects for half a second and sends 0 bytes..... hmmmm

you are having arp issues with the citrix box i would think.
so once you cutover to the ASA .. can you ping the citrix box from the ASA?
The citrix arp table still shows the mac address of the linksys 72.2 interface is my guess and you would need to flush the arp table on the citrix server.
Also, how does the internet connect.  Is it straight to the linksys router?  Is this cable, DSL or T1 to a provider router or what.  There is a router on the outside of the ASA of some sort.  It could be that that devices still has the mac address of public side MAC address of the citrix box in its ARP table.  Most likely that needs a reboot as well to flush its ARP table.  I would bet on it.
I have been working on Cisco firewall since before Cisco bought the PIX.  I can assure the config is good without that reverse static.

OK... but if it is an ARP issue would the 5510 still get the info that it is in the logs?
I mean, if packets were headed to another port why am I seeing SCR/DES info in the logs?

you got a point there.  Here is what I know.  When you try to access it from the outside... the citrix doesn't respond.  So could it be at that point the citrix box has the old arp entry for the linksys? so the packets aren't getting back.
So if you cut over. start everything fresh.  turn off linksys.  reboot ISP router/device.  flush arp table on citrix.  Then ping the citrix box from the ASA.  If that works then try the connection from the outside.  How are you connecting to the outside?  Are you at a different location or are you on a mobile broadband card or what?

I am physically sitting on the network. I am trying access from outside on my broadband card that is known to connect.
Their office is closed tomorrow and I am getting access to come in and powercycle every single device. I will then first try to ping Citrix from ASA and move downstream like you suggest.
Thanks again, I really do hope it is a ARP issue in a device I did not reload. (the ACTELIS ISP box and actual Citrix server)
    I will let you know.

  • Mid 2010 Macbook Pro - USB & Midi Issues

It all started when I recently bought a Pioneer DJM-900srt and switch from Traktor to Serato Dj. Now, I have been using my current Korg Nanocontrol for about 2 years problem free using manly Ableton Live 8 and Traktor Pro 2. Never needing to download any drivers and/or control editors. Fast forward to recently. Unknown to me at the time Serato Dj had some known issues with Midi mapping (that i should of researched more) but I went ahead and downloaded the latest Korn Nancontrol driver and control editor. Thinking 1) It might solve my Serato Dj problem and 2) what could it hurt? The second turned to be a nightmare.
So before I downloaded the driver and control editor I could plug in and unplug any of my midi usb devices, audio interfaces and Dj mixer in no specific order and at anytime and every thing would work and midi map as it was meant to. However, after downloading the driver all **** broke loose. While the driver was on my laptop none of my listed midi devices would connect properly and half the time the program would fail or just not open. I know you're not Allen & Heath but I also tried to download the latest driver from their website for my non working Xone 1D; Ableton, Serato Dj and Audio/Midi setup in utilities just will not open so i cant even tell if the midi devices are functioning properly. So I went on and deleted the Korg driver, editor and the Xone 1D driver.
After deleting the drivers and Korg control editor things now somewhat work but far from how they should. In order for things to function somewhat properly I must turn on the devices  in this exact order. Turn on the computer and let it fully boot up. Plug in via USB to my laptop and turn on the Djm-900srt. Plug in my USB 7 port extender (with power supply) plug in my Korg Nano and my Maschine Mikro into the extender and turn it on. Boot up Ableton to quickly check if the devices mounted properly. Open up either Traktor or Serato and rock the house. The Allen & Heath Xone 1D has been dead in the water since the initial Korg Driver instal.
I can get screen shots of anything if it will help after work today. Around 5pm CST
    Detailed specs:
    Computer-
      Model Name:          MacBook Pro
      Model Identifier:          MacBookPro6,1
      Processor Name:          Intel Core i7
      Processor Speed:          2.66 GHz
      Number Of Processors:          1
      Total Number Of Cores:          2
L2 Cache (per core):          256 KB
      L3 Cache:          4 MB
      Memory:          4 GB
    Dj Gear-
    Mixer - Djm-900srt
Midi Devices - Korg Nanokontrol 1st gen, Maschine Mikro 1st gen, Allen & Heath Xone 1D
P.S. Any new USB device will not function or be recognized.

Please help. I have racked my brain and I still can't figure out how to fix this. I cannot believe that 1 korg driver download permanently ruined my computer. I swear to everything holy that my computer was running like a well oiled machine before the download and Korg has been little to no help.

Anyone can see what is the problem from the log? Should we upload  a jabber-config.xml for remote-access  to cucm so that we can authenticate ?Or is there any other reason causing such problem?

    Hi,
I have exactly the same issue running exactly the same CUCM and CUPS versions.
I am running Expressway 8.2 and Jabber Client 9.7.4.
My log files show the same as yours, but I don't see any incorrect username or password statements.
Internally the clients work fine, externally they seem to parse both Expressway servers and returning the cups and cucm internally addresses in the log files. And then the clients responds with "Cannot communicate with the server". Logging stops.
    Anyone got any pointers?

Based on my initial assessment of the code, it looks like you are utilizing the "slow by slow" method. It is often termed "slow by slow" because it is one of the most INefficient ways of doing data processing. The "slow by slow" method uses CURSOR FOR LOOPs to loop through entire record sets and process them one at a time. In your case it looks like you are using NESTED FOR LOOPs which could exacerbate the problem.
I recommend you re-think your approach and try and do everything in a single, or a few SQL statements if possible and avoid the procedural logic.
If you can post your business requirements, and sample data we may be able to help you achieve your goal.

  • Performance issue and functional question regarding updates on tables

A person at my site wrote some code to update a custom field on the MARC table that was being copied from the MARA table.  Here is what I would have expected to see as the code.  Assume that both sets of code have a parameter called p_werks which is the plant in question.
    data : commit_count type i.
select matnr zfield from mara into (wa_marc-matnr, wa_marc-zfield).
update marc set zfield = wa_marc-zfield
         where werks = p_werks and matnr = wa_matnr.
      commit work and wait.
    endselect.
I would have committed every 200 rows instead of every one row, but here's the actual code and my question isn't around the commits but something else.  In this case an internal table was built with two elements - MATNR and WERKS - could have done that above too, but that's not my question.

Here's the question - why did this person enqueue and dequeue explicit locks like this ?  They claimed it was to prevent issues - what issues ???  Is there something special about updating tables that we don't know about ?  We've actually seen it where the system runs out of these ENQUEUE locks.
Before you all go off the deep end and ask why not just do the update, keep in mind that you don't want to update a million + rows and then do a commit either - that locks up the entire table!

The ENQUEUE lock insure that another program called by another user will not update the data at the same time, so preventing database coherence to be lost. In fact, another user on a SAP correct transaction, has read the record and locked it, so when it will be updated your modifications will be lost, also you could override modifications made by another user in another luw.
You cannot use a COMMIT WORK in a SELECT - ENDSELECT, because COMMIT WORK will close each and every opened database cursor, so your first idea would dump after the first update. (so the internal table is mandatory)
Go through some documentation like [Updates in the R/3 System (BC-CST-UP)|http://help.sap.com/printdocu/core/Print46c/en/data/pdf/BCCSTUP/BCCSTUP_PT.pdf]

  • CIN: Alteration of base value for CST in TAXINN

    Hi,
In our business process there is a requirement that CST should not be calculated only on Basic Price + Excise Duties (BEDEcessSEcess) rather base value for CST should be Basic Price + Excise Duties (BEDEcessSEcess) + 2 Additional Surcharges as mentioned below:
    Basic Price     100.00
    BED (10%)     10.00
    Ecess (2%)     0.20
    SEcess (1%) 0.10
    Additional Surcharge1     4.00
    Additional Surcharge2     6.00
    Base for CST 120.30 (100100.20.14+6)
    CST (2%)     2.41 (2% of 120.30)
    Total Value     122.71
The tax procedure being used is TAXINN
Is there any standard routine or subtotal available so that by using this in PO Calculation Schema and TAXINN the base value of CST can be modified as desired?
    Please provide some useful ideas.
    Thanks in advance
Edited by: Sapdear on Aug 29, 2011 8:22 AM

    Hi,
The additional surcharges are condition types in the calculation schema of PO whereas CST is being calculated in Tax Procedure TAXINN so how "From" and "To" functionality can work. The surcharges are getting calculated in PO Pricing and CST in tax procedure TAXINN (both at different places)
We want to use a tax code (BED10%Ecess2%SEcess1%+CST2%) to calculate Excise Duties and CST by additional surcharges taking into account.
Can any one provide some idea to resolve this issue?
    Thanks in advance

  • Issue With PO taxes ?????

i have a po of worth 10,000 inr
now i have to apply taxes on the above amount in the follwoing way
    70% of the amount @12.5%
    30%of the amount @14.5
please help me in this ..
    Thanks in Advance...

    Hi,
I think you have not analyze yet. Just you asking issue what system is calculating! You must understand business process as based on business process tax process designed in system.
You already confirmed that two condition types JEXS & JEXY is there in TAX procedure...
1st you should understand that  why two condition types JEXS & JEXY  for CST only for same tax %value.
May two condition types created for CST & one CST for Setoff and another CST for to inventorised.
Now just cross check by creaing new  tax codes with two options and see the impact in creating PO and then do GR( try DEV system)
Option-1;;;;; create  Tax Code C4  with condition types JEXS & ( also maintain condition record in FV11),see result
Option-::::::: create Tax code C5  with condition types JEXY  & ( also maintain condition record in FV11),see result

  • ASA 5510 Multiple Public IP - Static NAT Issue - Dynamic PAT - SMTP

Running into a little bit of a roadblock and hoping someone can help me figure out what the issue is.  My guess right now is that it has something to do with dynamic PAT.
Essentially, I have a block of 5 static public IP's.  I have 1 assigned to the interface and am using another for email/webmail.  I have no problems accessing the internet, receving emails, etc...  The issue is that the static NAT public IP for email is using the outside IP instead of the one assigned through the static NAT.  I would really appreciate if anyone could help shed some light as to why this is happening for me.  I always thought a static nat should take precidence in the order of things.
    Recap:
IP 1 -- 10.10.10.78 is assigned to outside interface.  Dynamic PAT for all network objects to use this address when going out.
IP 2 -- 10.10.10.74 is assgned through static nat to email server.  Email server should respond to and send out using this IP address.
Email server gets traffic from 10.10.10.74 like it is supposed to, but when sending out shows as 10.10.10.78 instead of 10.10.10.74.
Thanks in advance for anyone that reads this and can lend a hand.
    - Justin

    Hi ,
    As per you config :
    object network obj_any
    nat (inside,outside) dynamic interface
    object network Email
nat (inside, outside) static 10.10.10.74 service tcp smtp smtp
    object network Webmail
nat (inside, outside) static 10.10.10.74 service tcp www www
    object network WebmailSecure
nat (inside, outside) static 10.10.10.74 service tcp https https
    object network obj_any
    subnet 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0
    object network inside-network
    subnet 192.168.2.0 255.255.255.0
    object network Email
    host 192.168.2.7
    object network Webmail
    host 192.168.2.16
    object network WebmailSecure
    host 192.168.2.16
The flows from email server ( 192.168.2.7 ) , will be NATed to 10.10.10.74, only if the source port is TCP/25. Any other souce port will use the interface IP for NAT.
Are you saying that this is not happening ?
    Dan

  • Why are my EXS .cst settings grey in media browser?

I tweaked the EXS Modulation Matrixes for Orchestra Bassoon for use with breath controller and saved the .cst file. I can see it in the finder in the GarageBand settings[JamPack4] but it's greyed out in Logic Express 8's "Media"-""Browser" Any solutions? Any one else had this problem? How could I get it to use in project now? Copy and Paste?????? I assume it's in the right place because I used the EXS's "save as" before closing that project, and it is in the Finder.

hi jt, you might be aware of this already but i only
get this problem when two notes of the same pitch
    overlap.
and it's only with some patches.
i always check in the matrix for overlaps when this
    happens.
I do have notes overlapping on the same pitch but on different midi channels (midi 1 is a strong attack while midi 2 is my sus). To test if this was the problem I deleted the "attack notes" leaving just the sus's, and the problem still exists. The cutting off happens well after the "attack" patch is done playing, so I dont think this is the problem and put the attack notes back into the track.
As for the suggestion of using cresc patches, as far as I can see there are no cresc patches in Opus 1/2. The closest patch I've found was something called "dynamics_all" which gives you fp, sfz, sffz, and a 6 sec pfp. The only one that comes close is the pfp, but it doesnt have the sustained power of the F, as it immediately decres back to p, so I'd much rather use the mod_dynamics patches as they have the sound I desire.
The freezing tracks workaround does work, though its a PITA as I use midi instrument objects to control my EXS instruments. Glad that it works though, so at least I can hear the parts played back correctly.
So bottom line, is this a Logic bug? Should we all send in some logic feedback? Will upgrading to 7.2 fix this issue? Its amazing how many issues I run across just trying to write music w/ Logic. Its a rollercoaster of highs and lows! I'm sure its like this in all sequencing programs, but it does get tiresome after awhile!

  • Dg4odbc 11.2 to mysql desc table issue, query return only one record

    <h2>Hi,
I have the following set up:
11g R2 RAC oracle database, dg4odbc 11.2, UnixODBC 2.3 driver manager, MySQL ODBC 5.1.7 Driver on 64 bit Suse SLES 11 server.
Remote database MySQL version 5.0.67 running on 32 bit linux server.
I am having the following Issues:
    1. When desc table, sometimes only the first field is shown:
    SQL> desc sub_index@mybilltracker;
    Name Null? Type
    subject_id NOT NULL NUMBER(20)
    SQL> desc "sub_index"@mybilltracker;
    Name Null? Type
    subject_id NOT NULL NUMBER(20)
Some other times I am able to see the correct table definition:
    SQL> desc "sub_index"@mybilltracker;
    Name Null? Type
    subject_id NOT NULL NUMBER(20)
    sess_id NUMBER(10)
    sess_yr NUMBER(10)
    subject_name VARCHAR2(255)
    SQL> desc sub_index@mybilltracker;
    Name Null? Type
    subject_id NOT NULL NUMBER(20)
    2. Select count(*) returns the total number of rows correctly. Select * or Select "field name" from table returns only one row:
    SQL> select count(*) from "mbt_user"@mybilltracker;
    COUNT(*)
    2
SQL> select "user_id", "email" from "mbt_user"@mybilltracker; _(always return only one record!)_
    user_id email
    1 [email protected]
Has anybody seen this? Can somebody help me pinpoint the problem? Thank you!
