Obrigada!

  • Message struck at inbound que in server proxy

Sub :Message struck in SMQ2 with status text"ThiSend:bad tm type" .
    HI,
I executed inbound proxy form PI 7.0, the message was struck in the inbound queue of ECC 6.0,
with status text "ThiSend:bad tm type /connection closed (no data)".
when i test the same message from 'SPROXY' t.code, inbound proxy class was working fine.
I came to know the message scheduled due to function
    module sxms_async_exec
and raising an exception as ThiSend:bad tm type/
    connection closed (no data)
please provide the details like when this function
module throw an exception as connection closed(no data).
    inside inbound proxy,
could you please suggest us, what should be avoided inside the proxy
    method.
    warm regards
    mahesh.

    Hi Chaitanya,
previouly, i have the same problem.
At that time, we are using 'submit' command inside proxy method i.e i ABAP program.
because of that, the message was struck in the inbound que.
'submit' is not suggestable inside proxy method.
so, pls check your ABAP Program.
    warm regards

  • Error in workflow mailer configuration - Inbound Email Server

    Hi
    I have Windows 2000 SP4.
I have installed Oracle Workflow 2.6.3 Standalone as below
I have installed Oracle Database 10gR1 and Oracle Workflow Server 2.6.3 in same oracle home.
I have installed Apache HTTP Server 9.0.4 and Workflow Middle Tier in the same oracle home.
I have finished installation and configuration successfully.
Now I want to configure mailer parameters.
I have started Workflow Component Container and Workflow Management Container.
When I try to enter paramters for mailer I get error in Inbound EMail Account Server Name.
The error says: Unable to make a network connection.
I do not want to configure Inbound Mail Server but I need to enter these parameters as they are mandatory.
I set Inbound Thread Count = 0 so that configuration does not consider parameters for IMAP server.
My mail server is SMTP server.
Any idea how to overcome this error and continue with notification mailer configuration?
    Thanks

You would need to modify all the parameters listed in this script. This script updates each of the mailer and agent listener parameter. You may edit the script to remove all API calls OTHER THAN those for "Workflow Notification Mailer".
Then update ALL the parameters for "Workflow Notification Mailer" with appropriate values with Inbound Thread Count to 0 and Outbound Thread Count to 1. Inbound Server Name, Account, Inbox, Discard and Processed values can be ignored. Make sure Outbound Server Name is valid SMTP Server name.
Values like From, HTML Agent should point appropriately as per your env.
    Hope this helps
    Vijay

  • CTE Inbound com LES (CTEINBLE)

    Oi pessoal.

If you're looking to limit bandwidth FROM your server, you can use an ingress policy on the server's interface and police selectively.  For example, if your specific VM has its own IP address, you could police inbound (from the server) traffic matching that IP.

  • Screen output without connection to user, Message struck at inbound queue

    Chaps,
I executed inbound proxy form PI 7.0, the message was struck in the inbound queue of ECC 6.0,
with status text "Screen output without connection to user" then when I apply execute LUW then it is converted to
"ThiSend:bad tm type /connection closed (no data)".
when i test the same message from 'SPROXY' t.code, inbound proxy class was working fine.
I came to know that when we call an ABAP program in side a proxy then it will throw same error what I got by checking the below url
Message struck at inbound que in server proxy
But in my proxy. I am just putting the data into z table and on some condition I am calling some other BAPI call.
Here my doubt is calling the SUBMIT for other ABAP program is same as calling the BAPI call?
because in the above thread clearly saying that don't use the other ABAP program in proxies. is the same case for calling the BAPI call into the proxy?
In proxy, the logic is I am just simply reading the data from IS(integration server, PI7.0 SP 18) to ECC 6.0(SP14) if the row is not there the data is reading into table. If row is already there then it is stuck up in SMQ2 (inbound queue) of the ECC
am I missing any basic things? please guide.

It is saying not suggestable...!!!! BAPI calls work perfectly !1

    Seems so,
    Lets try below things..
    1. Plz check the user is having auth to run the executable program in ECC.
    2. It seems that you are not using the proxy structures in a correct way..and check the calling program also..!!

  • OS X 10.4.11 Server - configured name and reverse DNS do not match / DNS

    Hi all,
I have looked for similar posts but all seem to have different scenarios, hoping to get an answer from someone more experienced than myself before I do anything silly.
    Help much appreciated!
    Scenario:
We run a 10.4.11 OS X Server on an XServe, hosted at an ISP. ISP provides all DNS services, incl. the reversed DNS entry.
I am currently only running the following services (based on the display in ServerAdmin):
    AFP
    Firewall
    iChat
    Mail
    QuickTimeStreaming
    Web
All others (incl. DNS) are grayed out. (As ISP instructed us not to add a DNS service on our box, that's "normal" according to my experiences with dedicated /co-location server hosting).
We never used changeip after the initial setup, meaning the server's
    Current Hostname = somename.local and
    DNS Hostname = mail.ourdomainname.net
So in system.log I find this re-occuring entry:
Jul 8 11:41:22 somename servermgrd: servermgr_dns: configured name and reverse DNS name do not match (somename.local != mail.ourdomainname.net), various services may not function properly - use changeip to repair and/or correct DNS
    Finally, my question:
As Mail and Web services etc. are currently running OK from what I can tell,
    1) do I HAVE to change this at all?
    2) Would it be much better / why?
    3) Could I change this using the following command
(111.11.111.1 indicating the server's IP address)
    changeip 111.11.111.1 111.11.111.1 somename.local mail.ourdomainname.net
    4) without running a DNS server on the machine, i.e. DNS service is not required for this to work?
    5) obviously I want to be able to use Server Admin after I issue this command...
    6) can I fall back easily in case this would screw it up, or is there no risk whatsoever doing this in my case?
THANK YOU so much for any help!

    Hi Jonas
If port 443 is already being used on the same box as KMS then it will complain and probably not start the service? I've seen this with LDAP port 636. This is when Kerio is installed on a server configured as an OD Master. Clearly the port can't be used by both servers.
It might be easier to change the port your sites are currently using to something else? Although don't do anything yet. Pose the question to Kerio Support and see what advice they offer.
Yes moving the mail to a local folder on the mail client will do it.
Is Kerio going on the same box? If its a different box (presumably different IP address?) Then what you can do is to port forward to the new server's IP address instead of disabling it. This way while you are bringing the new server on line users can still send mail right up until the time you give instructions on changing their inbound/outbound mail server details. Of course they won't be able to receive but if you time it right they may not even get an error message? Depends on what their schedules are.
If it was me I would choose IMAP every time. As the mail admin you have full control and a central location for easy backup. KMS has a built in archiving feature that makes this a simple process. This is an easier option than going round individual client machines and making sure mail held locally in POP accounts are backed up. Besides there is always someone who falls through the loop and I'm not taking into account drive failures. It makes good sense anyway as there is talk of legislation being introduced to make this a requirement for businesses who run their own mail servers. This is certainly true for certain parts of the US and what usually happens there is generally taken up in the UK and most parts of Europe.
Kerio's WebMail Client means users don't even have to have their own computer. Just as long as they have access to one that has access to the internet they can send/receive mail. No need for dedicated mail applications such as Apple Mail, Thunderbird, Entourage etc. How mail is uses remains consistent for all users.
Yes. I did this not so long ago with Leopard's built in Mail Server. I sent an e-mail defining a time when no inbound mail would be received. Disabled port forwarding for SMTP port 25 and approx 30 minutes after that another mail stating no outbound mail should be sent. Once everything was swopped over (we were changing from a G4 10.4 server to a G5 10.5 Server) port 25 was enabled, new server brought online and everyone was mailing again with no appreciable downtime.
These boxes were to have the same IP address hence the slightly different approach.
    Does this help?
    Tony

  • Acquiring 10.8 Server

I am acquiring a Mac OSX 10.8 server from another University and have some questions that pertain to getting on the network while keeping everything running properly.  We have an Enterprise firewall that I have to submit for exceptions.
It is a mac mini running server 10.8 with the following services showing as active: Mail, Calendar, Contacts, Filesharing, Software updates, and DNS.  The owner and group use it as a file server, backup server with ChronoSynch, and to run one person’s Calendar and Contacts (CalDev/CardDev).  May questions are as follows:
    1. The DNS service is running.  How do I determine if it is actually being used/is necessary for any app, service or client, or if it was merely on by default when the server was built, and not really needed by anything (like CalDev, CardDev, Mail, File Sharing).
    2. In regard to the CalDev/CardDev, if the DNS name/host name of the server is changed, will the calendar and contacts remain intact, where the user will merely have to reconfigure their clients using the new DNS name?
    3. In regard to the Contacts, I read a write up where it says to run Open Directory and have Apple Push Notifications configured.   Is Open Directory Proxy what I need to allow in regard to a firewall protocol exception? [(port 625,TCP(ODProxy) (Unregistered Use)-dec_dlm   Open Directory, Server app, Workgroup Manager; DirectoryServices in OS X Lion and earlier.]
Also, how should Apple Push Notifications be configured?
    4. In regard to the Mail service running, I know the users will use our Enterprise mail system but it seems that CalDev needs smtp and imap to send out and receive invitations.  If not using this feature, can one skip this part of the use/configuration of it, or is it needed for other reasons?  Is this a reason to setup and run the Mail service on the server even if users won’t use this feature?
    5. In regard to the Contacts, why would I need to publish LDAP contacts through the service and really, how does contacts/CardDav use LDAP?

    So some thoughts
Thanks very much for the reply. To clarify, the server is at the owner's old university and will be moved to our university this week.  I agree that it is better to integrate into the parent environment.
    1. I'll access it remotely to check the IP/DNS situation.  In general, we have enterprise DNS PC servers but with Mac, I am not sure if it is required to run it from the server some reason for the "web" type sockets used for CardDav/CalDav??  Is it?
Ah, huh?  So, at the bare minimum, you are physically moving a device from one network to another.  You will need to, at bare minimum, change the devices IP address.  (This assumes that the two universities are not linked in any way and that you both, by some strange event of the universe, don't have the same subnet).  Now, changing IP address has cascading effects.  In OldU, the server might have been at address 10.0.1.20 and had a name of mac.oldu.com.  This IP and hostname made sense in OldU's network.  When you move the device to NewU, you will need to update the IP address.  Let's use 172.16.10.45 as an example.  When you do this, you will also be changing the devices router address, possibly the subnet mask, and also the DNS server addresses.  The change in DNS is true even if you are using the Mac server to handle its own DNS.
You have two options with DNS.  The first is to talk to your network crew and have them assign you a fixed IP address for the Mac Server (you will need this anyway) and a host name that they will enter into their DNS system.  Now DNS is no longer needed on the Mac Server.  Recall, DNS is providing identity confirmation.  It is critically important but getting it from OS X itself is no different than getting it from the enterprise DNS service.
The other option is to silo you server so it is outside the enterprise DNS.  The problem here is that you then create an island that can only be accessed by name if you configure other devices with its IP as the DNS server.  This may conflict with resolving other enterprise devices if you are sharing the same name space.  Alternatively, you provide clients with an IP address instead of a hostname, but then the server is useful only on a LAN or via VPN (this assumes that all servers are placed on a LAN behind a firewall in which case a private LAN address in not accessible without NAT forwarding through a firewall.
Bottom line.  You need to change the IP and this cascades to changing DNS.  The server needs DNS to properly function however, you do not need OS X's DNS to satisfy this requirement.  Changing the IP and the DNS will give the server an identity crisis.  Use sudo changeip -checkhostname to repair the identity of the server once you have it where you want it (new IP and a host name figured out).
    2. I will have to change the server hostname after all, so in regard to CalDav/CardDav and the user clients currently     accessing this calendar and set of contacts, what will happen?  Where does the calendar and contact data actually live and what steps do I have to take to make sure it is still available to the users and their clients (mac laptop, iOS phone, etc) and what will the users have to do to reconfigure their clients?
Using the examples above... If you are changing the hostname, then the existing users will need to be made aware of this.  If the server's hostname was mac.oldu.com and you change it to mac.newu.com, all users accessing services will need to update their client configurations to use the new hostname.  However, this presents a new challenge.
Once again, I will assume the server was on the LAN of the Old U.  This means that when users where off the LAN the either (a) used a VPN connection first and then accessed the server or (b) the Old U created firewall rules to allow specific traffic inbound to the server.  This would also suggest that a public DNS record was created, pointing mac.oldu.com to a public address.  For outside users, this request would hit a firewall NAT rule and the request would be forwarded to the Mac server.
Now, if you do not use LAN and instead everything has a public address, then you can avoid this.  I don't know your network so that is homework you need to do.
As for the user data, it is stored in /Library/Server (unless the server data path was modified).  As long as you are not changing the user accounts, then the calendar data remains in place.  The concern here is the GUID values that link the data to an account.  If the accounts stay, then you are just changing a hostname.
Bottom line.  If you change the hostname of the server, the clients will need to be updated with the new address information.
    3. In regard to CalDav/CardDav, are you saying that I don't need to worry about creating firewall exceptions for Open Directory Proxy, Open Directory or Apple Push Notifications?
Once again, not sure how NewU implements servers.  If the device is on a LAN, then a firewall rule will be required to access the CalDav server.  For this, you do not need to allow access to Open Directory (this is LDAP).
    oops - got to run - that's a start

  • MS Windows Media Server and PIX/ASA upgrade

I've just replaced a PIX 515 with an ASA5510 and have lost connectivity between a remote host running MS Windows Media Player trying to stream video back to a Windows Media Server behind the firewall.
I've opened all TCP/UDP ports inbound to the server from any source IP, to no avail. When I put the PIX 515 back, the problem goes away. Port blocking is not the issue, since all inbound ports are open from any IP.
Is there an 'inspect' statement or some other configuration in the new ASA that needs to be added, so it will pass the video stream as it works in the PIX 515?
Will Cisco TAC assist in an issue that may or may not be application related?
Thanks for any tips or direction,
    Marc

    I fixed it:
CSCsd82714 Bug: RTSP fails with Windows media player
    Symptom:
RTSP stream setup is failing with "inspect rtsp" enabled for clients to a
statically translated server behind the firewall
    Conditions:
Client on the outside is connecting to a server behind the PIX. The server
has a static configured and access-lists allowing this traffic:
    static (DMZ,outside) 172.16.1.1 10.1.1.1 netmask 255.255.255.255
    access-list outside_access_in permit ip any host 172.16.1.1
    access-group outside_access_i in interface outside
Setting up a connection, the client information is passed to the server.
The server information is passed back to the host. The host then sends a
reset before the SETUP message is passed
    Workaround:
Disable "inspect rtsp" within the configuration

  • Upload documents to DMS content server from other tcodes like MIRO

    Hi Experts,
How can I upload my document to DMS content server through transactions like MIRO.

    Hi Sunil,
You can't uplaod from different t-code, you need to upload it thru CV01n only. One exception is there which is BDC t-code SHDB for batch uploading. But from other t-code you can't uplaod a document into SAP DMS content server.
One another option is create a z-tcode for the same. i.e. for MIRO create ZMIRO.
In statndard environment you can attache but it will not saved in content server. Only thru CV01n it can be done.
I hope this will resolve the query.

  • How to set up Email in S60v3/5/^3 and bypass the N...

There are many threads on this board that all say the same thing and usually are about how Nokia Messaging or email is not working or syncing.
In an effort to have a base-line to assist with these, I have made the following tutorial to help users to bypass the Nokia Messaging (NM) as it is the auto-default to set up email on Nokia devices.
NM allows for “push” email, which will not keep you constantly online and will allow for marking your server email with what you have on your device.  Ie-if it is read on the device, it will be marked as read on the server, deleted, then deleted, etc.
When you bypass the NM, you will lose the “push” but you can setup most email as an IMAP4 which will do the same thing, and you can select what folders to sync, and how often to have them sync, not keeping you online.
This tutorial was done on a Symbian s60v5 device, and while some of the dialog may be different among devices, the process is relatively the same when bypassing NM.
Open the email client, select options
    Select Settings
    Select E-mail
    Select Mailboxes
    Options
    New mailbox
E-mal wizard will show up, tap Start
    Next screen, Preparing for installation:
If asked, allow to use network.  It will default to network to allow for set-up of NM.
If first time setting up email, this screen will show, “Welcome to E-mail setup”  after you have done it once, it may not show up.  Tap Start.
Enter E-mail address, then tap OK
    Splash screen
    Enter Password, then tap Ok.
    Splash screen
This is the screen where you can choose between the NM and the internal email client.  Aka, Terms of Service (on some devices you have to “agree”) (aka-TOS).  The default  is Yes! Activate my Nokia Messaging account, and if you have already set one up, it will say, “Add to my Nokia Messaging account.
You need to select “No Thanks.  I’ll check for new messages manually.” Or “Create a separate account that uses manual delivery.
    Splash screen
    Confirmation screen. Select Ok.
Your new mailbox may not show up in the next screen which is supposed to show all the mailboxes set up.  It is a slight glitch in some phones.  Just tap the back button and then mailboxes, then you should see it set-up in the mailboxes as shown.  Highlight your new mailbox and then select options to setup the settings of the email address.
You will need your inbound and outbound server settings and ports and securities if needed.  You should be able to google for the various email types and if it is a company email, you should be able to get this information from your system admins.
The following are just some screen shots so that you can see the process to follow.  While the NM will sync and mark messages as read the same in the inbox, if you set up your email as an IMAP4, it will do the same and sync all the folders on the server as well.  There is an option to for how frequent you would like your email to auto-sync, just as with the NM.  AND what days you would like it to work!
As there are older, the same, and newer versions of the Symbian and NM, this should help many people as least have the right guidance to bypass it if they wish and get on with consistent email service without using the NM.

I managed to set up an account manually on the C7 but I had to trick the email application by entering an invalid email address and password. After it could not find my account it then opened up all the settings and permitted me to add the manual IMAP settings, reply to address and other details. After I committed the settings, the phone recognised the account as a gmail account and it locked down all the settings again so I could not go back and change them if wrong.
I was quite chuffed with myself for seemingly resolving all my issues.....but on using the new account settings I could not sync the gmail sent / bin folders. All the other folders synchronised fine and when I send email it has the correct reply to address. Strangely this matches the best results I obtained when connecting using the Mail for Exchange settings so am no further forward. I am a little confused by this as when I let the phone set up the Gmail account on it's own it can sync everything.....but I just can't
I am now hoping that the new software update (PR1.2) gets email working a little better....well when I eventually get it hehe.

  • User ID has sap* rights and I get this...

    • Synchronization started.
    • Connection set up (without proxy) to: http://ap-ccms-d01:50000/meSync/servlet/meSync?~sysid=DMI&
    • Successfully connected with server.
    • Processing of inbound data began.
    • Server logon failed.
Not experienced with SAP MI and I do not understand why it fails to log me on. I also have S_ME_SYNC and S_RFC authorizations. Has anyone encounter this issue? Please let me know how it can be solved.
Besides creating the roles, service users is there anyting else that needs to be done on the server side?
    thanks,

  • ABAP - XI - File

    Hi,
found <a href="/people/ravikumar.allampallam/blog/2005/03/14/abap-proxies-in-xiclient-proxy blog</a> where he explain an ABAP Proxy. But in my process the ABAP Client should run on another SAP-System.
I think I will need ports or http destinations. Does anyone knew a blog for this?
    Scenario:
ABAP Client (SAP System 1) -> XI (SAP System 2) -> File System
    thanks
    chris

But I think I can not access a ABAP proxie from one SAP system to another.
Yes you can acess from the TC SPROXY from another SAP System provided Sproxy is configured there
    details of that:
Proxies: are interfaces which will get executed in the application system. They can be created only in the system from message interfaces using the proxy generation functions.
The biggest advantage of the proxy is that it always by passes the Adapter Engine and will directly interact with the application system and Integration engine - so it will and should give us a better performance.
The literal definition of a proxy is an object / process authorized to act for another; an agent or a substitute. In simpler terms, proxies in the XI context are objects used to encapsulate the creation (from a sender system) or parsing of XML (at a receiver system) as well as the communication with the relevant runtime components required to send or receive those messages. The Proxy Runtime controls these objects / processes, and can itself be controlled by the applications it communicates with.
The Proxy currently has the following components available:
    1. ABAP Proxy – Communication using XI or Web Services
    2. Java Proxy– Communication using XI (J2EE)

Proxies communicate with the XI server by means of native SOAP calls over HTTP .RFC does not, so you have to convert from SOAP to RFC calls and vice versa. So XML conversion is required.
ABAP Proxies uses Webservice and Http Protocols. And if you use RFC it is mainly meant for Sync. call. But Proxies is used for both Sync and Async.
If you use ABAP Proxy , you can reduce the overhead calling the function again and again.

    Re: JDBC Sender select/update problem
If u generate proxy for outbound interface then its client proxy and for inbound interface its server proxy.
In client proxy u can call the method to send messages but u can't modify it but in server proxy its possible to write a user code within the method to execute proxy.
    CLIENT PROXY:
A WSDL description from a UDDI server (or an Internet page) is usually used to make a service executable in the Internet and to describe the interface of this service. You require a client proxy and not a server proxy to call this service by using the Web service infrastructure.
    SERVER PROXY:
You can only generate ABAP server proxies from a WSDL description if they originate in the Integration Repository. You can also generate server proxies for Java and client proxies for ABAP from message interfaces.

  • Create or Update Business Partner in CRM  ?

    Dear Folks  ,
Scenario is to Create or update Business partner in CRM from  thirdparty system  via PI
It would be great if you could  clarify the following
Hope we have BAPI to create and Update Business partner in CRM system but my question is
    1. Can we use any predelivered PI content - Message Interfaces - as proxies ( Server proxies ) to create BP from system ?
    2. Same interface will work for Update as well ?
IF so what is that content ?  where to find for our PI System ?
    3. Can we use the same way for Client proxies as well  when we want to update the business partner ?
    4. What are the inbound and outbound Message Interfaces are available ?
Any help will be highly appreciated
    Thanks.,
    Shiva

    Hi Ravi ,
I think that i am not described my question properly    , Say i have CRM system where i have to create BP for this input comes from external system (forget about the system ) , Here i want to use Proxy (Server proxy ) which helps me create Business partner in CRM system .
Here my question is If sap delivers the  Inbound interface ( where server proxy already generated by SAP) , which i will use to create BP ?
Can we do in this way ?
    Thanks
    Shiva
