CTI - SAP CRM & SAP BCM: ANI does not work in SAP standard
Hello Experts,
our customer wants to work with a CTI in SAP CRM WebUI Role (Non IC; CEBP).
For the CTI the SAP CRM 7.0 (on HANA) and SAP BCM where itegrated.
We are using the Slim Communication Toolbar as recommended by SAP.
The Problem ist that the ANI (Automatic Number Identification) does not work.
The Callers Number is not identified. Function Module BUPA_SEARCH2 is not called.
No Changes were made in this area. We are completely using the SAP standard.
Has anybody experienced issues related to this one?
It would be great if somebody could give me some help and/or information!

the issue was solved by SAP.
The relevant startup component for ANI in the CMS integration profile (Tx CRM_IC_FW_PROF) was inactive:

Maps program does not work. In standard it only shows a grid. If I ask for a route it shows start and end point and three route boxes but nothing else. It does show directions. If I switch to hybrid it shows to routes but no roads. Background is a blur.

Substitution rule does not work in SAP CRM
Hi,
In our client, we have work flow set up for substitutions. Manager A has specified B as his substitute for approving work flow items during his absence. I checked the table T77S0, WFLOW AUTOF is set to 'X'. I checked the table HRUS_D2, here the entry shows as

A B 03/10/2014 01/01/9999 0001 X
However B is not able to receive the workflow items of A. When I tried to forward using SWIA, then B is getting workflow items. Not sure, why the substitution is not working. User A has set up workflow substitute in SAP CRM Web UI.
Any suggestions to resolve this will be greatly appreciated.

RaviYou assigned substitution profile 0001 which is disciplinary or something like that - this substitution profile has no meaning and is only an example. try not assigning a substitution profile or use profile 'all' which contains the 'NO_CLASS' task class which is the default classification for tasks in the system.
you can see substitution definition in SAP Web Application Server → Business Management → SAP Business Workflow → Basic Settings (Organization Management) → Substitute Profile.

DELL 3110 does not work on SAP R/3 4.6C
Hi SDN,
I've to install a printer DELL 3110 in an SAP R/3 4.6C. according to SAP OSS Note 8928, the Device type that I should use is "PCL5" but I didn't find this device in drop down list!!
If I use SAPWIN, printed document does not appear as it should.
What I would like to now is what device type shoud I use and what access methos (C,F,L,etc) ??
the printer is located at
printserver\printer and from windows everything prints OK.

SAP GUI Scripting Wizzard Windows7 does not work
Dear Experts,
I am quite a novice when it comes to SAP GUI scripting (let alone any other development), therefore my question might be rather stupid. After my PC was migrated from XP to Windows 7 it is no longer possible to use the SAP GUI scripting wizzard. When you select it from the menue, simply nothing happens.
Does anyone have an idea what I need to do to have this useful tool back on my PC?

I had the tech guys here install , the latest GUI patch level 15,
and the script development tools not working issue has been fixed
They (SAP?) removed the 'script development tools' menu option!?
I have not installed the MS hotfix, but
My question is, it true the 'Script development tools' is gone?

b) The Activate GuiXT tool in SAP GUI also does give you some clues in the element window
and could be an alternative way , to get control names.
eg a radio button is R[P_CONTROL_ID] when it should be radP_CONTROL_ID
c) The SAP script recording and playback , to a vbs script will give you the control names also, if you edit the script.
You must of course have GUI scripting on in rz11

RFC Destination does not work for /sap/xi/adapter_plain service

We are facing a strange issue. Our business partner is trying to connect to our XI box, RFC Detination type 3 through a reverse proxy at our end. If he used /sap/xi/engine service, he gets a 500 response " empty request received". Howerevr if he connects using /sap/xi/adapter_plain, he is not getting any response, just a green tick at the bottom with no message. SMICM shows " wrong content in header response"

We are able to send data to our business partner. When he is trying to send data to us, he is not able to do so.
He needs to do so via a reverse proxy. We have replicated the scenario on our side to cross check.
We are able to connect to our XI with http/https without reverse proxy. However with reverse proxy we are not able to do so.
Also in case of http without reverse proxy, the message processing does not happen even thought RFC Connection test is successful/

when trying to upload images to eBay to sell items the browse button on the standard uploader does not do anything, this works fine in IE and the basic upload also works well in both. I have cleared all cache and cookies but still not working.
I understand the uploader is not working and you have cleared the cache and the issue continues. Please also Try [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode|Firefox Safe Mode]] this will tell you if it is an add on interfering with the functionality of the Browsing/Upload button.
In case of Java you can check the Security tab in the Java Control Panel to make sure that Java for browsers is enabled.

SAP CRM Interactive Reporting - Custom reports not working

We have set up C41 step by step in our system (CRM 7.0) .When I try to create a new report, and share it, it gets shared. Till here all is well.
Post this if I try to execute this new custom report (which is just a copy of std report), it doesnt work.

Can anyone explain why this query does not work in SAP? It works fine on SQL but gives me this message in SAP:

There are several areas in your code which needed changes.
1. On the field name for your temp table you had spaces.
2. The SAP table name ODLN, OPCH, PCH1 had to be fully referenced like
[dbo].[ODLN]
3. You really need not have ## in front of your temp table, it could just be #
The select at the end is actually what causes the most problem as for some reason from within SAP it does not produce the result. I would suggest you put the whole code into a Stored Procedure and call the SP from SAP. Corrected SQL below. If you remove the Select line at the end the query would work with in SAP, but keep it give give you an error. SP is the best option for this.

BSP Application does not launch in SAP R/3 4.7
Hi Experts,
We are trying to create a BSP application in SAP R/3 4.7. We are using the MVC architecture for the same. However, we are failing to launch the BSP pages. When the URL is launced either from SAP or directly in IE, the password prompt appears, after entering the user name and password it reappears again for 3 times and then throws a message invalid user name or password. This happens for all User Names. The passwords are correct though.
We have similar BSP Application in our SAP CRM 4.0 box and it works. I do not have much expertise in BSP, thus would want to know whether there are any BASIS settings that could be required in the system before we proceed. How do we know whether the system is compatible to BSP applications. We have even activated the BSP Application in SICF (Default_host -> SAP -> BC -> BSP -> SAP -> <BSP Application Name>). The current Support Pack version on the system are as follows,
SAP_BASIS Release 620 SAPKB62065; SAP_ABA Release 620 SAPKA62065.
Even if we try to launch the standard example BSP applications in the box, even they do not launch. The same problem appears. Do we need to make changes to User Roles level? All these user IDs have SAP ALL access though.
Please let me know how can I sort this out. Also let me know if you would need any further details.

in transaction SICF navigate to the service default_host->sap->public->ping. Right-click and select "Test Service". If this works then the BSP runtime is working okay.
Then navigate to the service sap->bc->bsp->sap->sbspext_htmlb and try the same there. On this service you will need to enter a username and password.
If all this works then you need to look clser at what you are doing.

i have created my web-dynpro application in development. and sent to quality . whenever i will execute my dynpro in quality i got one message

for your requirement the application is not exist in particular place. It means, the webdynpro application is saved at different package or different location.
Please change the webdynpro component name and save it in particular request in package, then transport it to quality ..(development server )
then go to SICF t.code .. sap->bc->webdynpro->sap->find out your application and activate the service of your webdynpro application.
Now test it ... this solution might helpful to you .

Why UDO does not work more in SAP B1 P16?
Someone of you has tried to use UDO in SAP B1 Patch 16?
It does not work more what worked in patch 14 created by code.
I have also created master and detail tables (from menu Options )
and the object by hand but I do not succeed to make to work it!

I am using SBO SP1 PL16 and I have problems with Update in Default Form.
1. I create a Master Data Table and a Lines Master Data Table
2. I create an UDO using Default Form
3. When I test it I get the following behavior:
a) When I add master data an lines at the same time, there is no problem.
b) When I update any data in master or lines, I press Update Button and the message "successfully" is displayed but automatically it gets the old information
c) I tried to find the right information in the table but it was not saved.
Anyone has the same problem? -

The key to access this table is the message class and the message number.
Reading the message that you provided, it looks like SAP is searching for a message number 000 without having a message class.
Do you use any exit with own programming ?

SWUF is workflow runtime system administration? Seems it disappeared in 4.6 or 4.7.
Try SWDC_RUNTIME and SWDC_DEFINITION - not sure if they are in ECC6.
