CTM 9.0 missing objects in nsMgrTool

Hi,
Our company installed Cisco Transport Manager Server Version: 9.0 Build: 600 Patches: 8 and we noticed that when we start the command nsMgrTool -l we don't get the objects: NotificationChannel and EmsSessionFactory.
Does somebody knows what that can be? Here the output of nsMgrtool:

InDesign CS6 Export to PDF has missing objects

When exporting to PDF, I have a 6-page document that has missing objects from the master.
Here's the document with the content removed:
lab.cyke.net/pdf/MissingObjects.pdf
The first and last pages were constructed correctly. All pages in between are screwed up. Any ideas?

@Jongware – I have a case with InDesign CS5.5 7.5.3 on Mac OS X 10.6.8 where master pages based on each other lead to false representation of page objects.
Not only in pdf export, but also on the actual InDesign pages. Made an IDML from it, opened that in InDesign CS4 and the error was gone.
This problem is documented at the German-Swiss forum "HilfDirSelbst" at:

Some screen grabs together with the IDML are attached there.
After opening the IDML from InDesign CS4 with the error gone, I exported another IDML from CS4, opened that in InDesign CS5.5 7.5.3 and the error was present.
To detect the error look at pages 1* and 4 of the mentioned screen grabs.

//EDIT: *the screen grab of the pages palette of InDesign CS5.5 shows the error on page 4 only. The error is present outside of page 1 as well, but cannot show on the screen grab.

OBN not working in portal 'missing Object ID' error

Hi,
We have implemented MSS though the portal, and am having problems with the org profile and position profile firing up via OBN from employee profile.
It works fine though NWBC, but for some reason not in the portal.
I get an ‘missing Object ID’ error.
Anyone got any ideas?

Problems with query transport (missing object)

Hello,
I've a problem while transporting a query with the transport connection. I choose the option "necessary objects" but the import in the productive system fails due to a missing object.
How can I find the missing object? In the transport log only the ID is given (e.g. " Element 67ZP0WYO09DFA52PLG2SREVBT is missing in version M")

Hi Markus,
Check data base tables RSZELTXREF & RSZELTTXT for the missing element in the transport.
Try to include all the missing elements of a Query in a new transport and try again.

Missing Objects

Dear Gurus, looks like a user (power user who created this query) of mine is getting this message "The following objects were not found when accessing server: Press 'Repair' to correct the problem (incorrrect parts of the query are automatically deleted). Missing Objects: Attribute 'XXXXXX' missing".
When I as a developer open the query I can see the attribute and the reports run just fine. The same is tru for another BW developer who cannot see the attribute. Is this a known issue?

Thanks Satish for the answer. The client uses a custom portal (not SAP EP) to logon to all SAP servers (R/3 or BW) for any other third-party tools they use. Recently there was a SAPGUI7.0 push for all users. So in that sense we are all on the same version and patch level. I saw a note on service.sap.com that dealth with missing attributes and asked to upgrade to front-end patch level 10 and I beleive we already have it. By the way how do we determine the front end patch level. This deos not hold water as I am using the same patch level. It is several power users who are having the same issue. They used to use this attribute earlier but unable to do so now except me.

Activation error due to the missing objects in shadow instance.

Hello All,
We have problem with our NW701 -> NW730 upgrade. In phase ACT_UPG there is problem with activation of two tables ->
1EEDO519 "Table" "/BI0/PRSTT_EID" could not be activated
1EEDO519 "Table" "/BI0/PRSTT_OBJNM" could not be activated
The problem is that the data elements which are used in this tables were not mirrored into shadow instance. These 3 data elements are missing ->
/BI0/OIRSTT_FDATE
/BI0/OIRSTT_FTIME
/BI0/OIRSTT_SSYS
In the logfile CUSTEXP.IWY there is following error message ->
3 EUG166 Unknown message with "R3TR" "DTEL" "/BI0/OIRSTT_FDATE" "0RSTT_FDATE"
3 EUG166 Unknown message with "R3TR" "DTEL" "/BI0/OIRSTT_FTIME" "0RSTT_FTIME"
3 EUG166 Unknown message with "R3TR" "DTEL" "/BI0/OIRSTT_SSYS" "0RSTT_SSYS"
Worse is that in the log CUSTEXP.IWY we can see that 179 objects has the same error message and these objects do not exist in shadow instance.
When I try "where used" button on data element /BI0/OIRSTT_FTIME in SE11 I get the list of structures where it is used, for example structure /BIC/CE8OMIS_VS. This structure /BIC/CE8OMIS_VS exists in shadow instance and is active but the data element /BI0/OIRSTT_FTIME is missing! And if I check the consistency of the structure in SE11 I receive an error about missing data element.
I dont think this is ok, and there could be more objects which seems to be activated but if some of the data elements or domains etc... is missing there is a problem. I have opened OSS message for this but maybe someone from you have experience with such behavior and can help.

I have received an answer from SAP :
I have confirmed with our BW-SYS-DB expert, actually the affected
objects ("*RSTT*") are part of the technical content. We deliver with
the technical content our interbal trace tool. Obviously part of the
trace tool is inconsistent in your system and as it was never used the
problem was not visible before the upgrade.
To proceed, please skip the errors ( the objects are absolute not
necessary for running BW ) and after the upgrade is finished please
activate the technical content. The missing objects must be created
by the activation.
So I have skipped the activation of these objects and I am continuing ...

Install query with business content - missing objects

I am trying to install a query for the purchasing data cube - 'Values: Purchase order - delivery - invoice'. When I try to install I get an error message that one of the directory objects is missing (Restricted figure - Invoice Value. Please help with the process on how to install the missing object.

Hi Cheryl,
You can change the collection mode to automatic and the grouping to in data flow before. This should give you all the needed CKF, RKF etc. But please be aware that this collects info objects, providers and all other objects in the data flow before the query!
Alternatively you can just choose the RKF from the query elements and install this with your query (search for the technical name given in the error). You might as well install all the other RKF's for the info provider when you are doing this. You can do a search on the info provider name and see all the available RKF's (E.g. 0PUR_C01).

Hi,
Note the following.
1. If WBS element was deleted by using icon Trash can, it is not possible to see the element in PRPS table. This action deletes elements permanently and hence and not traceable at table level.
2. If WBS element was set to DLFL (deletion flag), we can see delete indicator at table level.
3. You can do small test in your system, change the settings to "display deleted objects", if objects showing with deletion flag means these are available in system but temporarily set to DLFL and can be retrievable back into project structure. For those objects only you can see X indicator at Table level.
In your case some one might have deleted permanents and hence not showing.

Need to export Missing object type called "TYPE" Please Help

I did a referesh of one of the schema, I could see the difference between the source and destination schema object count.
but object type is "TYPE" , where the difference lies.
Three TYPE kind of objects are extra found in production which have not been imported to dest db.
Could you please help me how can i take export of those object types and import the same in dest.

Sir I have already tried that, but couldnt succeed.
For reference: The 19 type which are imported successfully out of 22, the DDL is acheived, but when I tried to get the ddl of rest three from production it throws error, like not found in schema, even i tried to get it from sys schema, but same error..

Disable logging completly- even for missing objects

i hav dev database that is generating millions of job failure/due to missing objects... is there away to disable the errors?
those jobs are scheduled thru dbms_schedule jobs have their logging level already set to "no logging ( off ) "
but i think oracle still geenrates eror when there is missing object ....

I only want to stop the logging in the db alert.log not in the job tables and views ... I still want them there so users can debug their jobs ...

Cache update / Missing objects

Dear all!
Since two days we have following problem:
After activating changes in integration directory sometimes the changes are not transmitted to the Runtime Cache, sometimes they are. The Status is everytime "green". A manually (full and delta) refresh is not succesfull (means status is still green, no error message is displayed but the objects are still missing). I.e. i can see only five of eight configured communication channels.
I read the thread "Automtic Cache Update is not done !!
Any ideas?

Which parts are showing up yellow.
For me it was the Integration Engine - adapter component.
In my case I had to reset the password for the SAP XI AF CPA cache component in the visual administrator.
Also make sure you haven't changed any of the standard users in the exchangeProfile. Because they didn't have enough authorisations I once changed them over there, and that also caused similar problems.

Missing objects when exporting to PDF

I have seen some discussions on this, but no solution. I am using Indesign CS5.5 all up to date. Every now and then I end up with an exported PDF that does not have all the pages objects, text or elements included on all the pages. This seems to occur more often when I am doing a data merge and end up with 750 or 1000 page file. It also seems to be master page items. All Master page items do make it into the merged data file just fine, but then do not make it to the exported pdf. It leaves me scratching my head. The first, two, or three pages of the pdf will be fine, it's when you start scrolling through the document that you realize that items are missing. And for me, the first time was after printing a rush job, and finding the problem.

I create the merged indesign file from the data merge panel. I then merge all records to a new indesign file. All items are created in the new indesign file. Master page items no problem. It's when I then export to pdf that I have the problem of missing ojects, text and so forth in the pdf. Usually the problems show up around page 3 and after. For some reason the first two or three pages will show fine. I have learned to be very careful about assuming that the pdf is correct.
I am using a mac mini 10.7.5 with Adobe Creative Premium Suite 5.5, all applications are up to date. Mac OSX is showing up to date as well.

Missing "Object Push" Service for Bluetooth/Blackberry on OS X

Hello. I had several issues that caused me to do a "wipe data" on my Curve. After I set everything back up, my Bluetooth is not working properly. I have my Curve paired to my my desktop and my laptop.
I am able to successfully send photos from my Curve to my laptop.
When I try to send something from my Curve to my desktop, it "failed because it cannot find service." This worked fine before the wipe data.
When I check the "device properties" in the "paired devices" menu, the desktop computer device is missing a "service" called "object push." Verizon and RIM have not been much help.
Any suggestions?

Found the problem. (I feel like a dope.) I needed to turn on Bluetooth Sharing in the "Sharing" prefs pane. That made the "Object Push" service available to the device.

Recreating a Failed Transport with a missing Object?

I have a transport that failed. An Include was missing. What is the best way to create a new tranport from the efailed transport and include the Include Object that was missing?.......Thanks.

Create a new transport of the right type, then use the include objects command in SE10 to add all objects of the previous transport. This option gives you several ways to add objects - and from another request is one of the options. Then add your extra object.
You may need to manually lock the objects in the transport - select lines in object list in change mode and use padlock icon.
