Ctrl-K check names not work working

I am running an Outlook 2013 client against a Ex2010 server.
One really annoying thing, is that the Check Names (Ctrl+K) keyboard shortcut is not working. If I manually click the icon it works. Any idea of why this is not Working?

See the above post for more information - here's a synopsis:
CTRL+SHIFT modifiers are not working while running LabVIEW in a Parallels 7 virtual machine. This problem affects both LV2011 and LV2012. I'm not certain that this is a LabVIEW bug - could be an issue with my virtual machine environment or it's configuration - except that CTRL+SHIFT modifiers work in other applications on the affected VMs. It's just LabVIEW that appears to ignore shortcuts with the CTRL+SHIFT modifiers.
Any ideas?

Power book G4 Leopard 10.5.8. File sharing preference checked but not working after start up until unchecked and the rechecked?

I hope the title is enough info, please ask. In the mean time I have created an applescript to open preferences/ sharing and uncheck then check the file sharing box. This works but I would obviously prefer it just work normally. I have no corrupt preference files. Perhaps a file is missing? Thank you.

Spell Check is not working in MS Office 2007

Hi All,
Spell Check option is not working in MS Office 2007 applications like Word and Outlook.
Surprisingly, when we reply to any email, spell check is working fine, but when we are typing New email, Spell Check is not working.
OS: Windows XP Service Pack 3
Gone through Google and modified Registry keys, updated MS Office 2007 hot-fixes, reinstalled MS Office 2007, but nothing worked.
Could anyone help us on this issue.

Check Button Not Working on Portal for BI report

We have Vendor account group variable when I enter any random value and click on check its not working its not giving message as ' Invalid Input' on Portal ( Variable is single input optional variable) same Check Button Working in RSRT .
And For all other Infoobjects ( Plant , Profit center) check Buitton is working on Port as well in RSRT.
Please suggest.

Capacity check is not working while creation of Production order

HI Gurus,
I want to restict the system that in case of insufficient capacity at the work centers, sysstem should not create the production order. For that i did the setting
1) Unchecked the tick for the Capacity check & enter the profile SAPSFCG013 in the OPJK for the business functions 1 & 2.& also make the setting for the Release order '3".
2) Maintain the same profile in the production profile & maintain that profile in the Mat Master
3) In the CR02, activate the tick for the finite scheduling & uncheck for the can used for several operations.
But i have creted the production orders & at the time of capacity check system is giving the message " Capacity avaiolable at all the work centers. But i check in the CM50, all the work centers are overloaded at the respective date.
But i can create & release the p[orduction order.
Requesting all to give your comments & solutions.

When you confirm an order, you are by definition saying that the capacity existed for that order (you have just declared to the system that all operatons have been performed, and therefore all capacity was available). I can't imagine why you would not wish to save that order, since you must somehow post the physical work that has already been done. Capacity availability check is really only useful when the order to be checked has not yet been executed.
CM50 displays capacity requirements. CM50 does not perform the same function as Capacity availability check. To ensure that all of your orders fall within you capacity constraints, you must perform capacity levelling. Capacity availability check does not work the same as a Material availability check - don't assume that what you know about a material ATP will be applicable for a capacity ATP. Read the help on Capacity levelling. It is not generally possible to stop a manually created production order from being saved, due to any capacity situation, without using an enhancement.

Naturally, you can use enhancements to have the system meet any business requirement that is not met with the standard Cap Availability check.

This issue is in FB60 and not MIRO.
Duplicate invoice check is activated in vendor master.
I posted an invoice for a vendor with amount $ 100, Reference 1234 Invoice date Nov 01, 2011
I tried posting for same vendor (and also Co Code) with amount $ 100, Reference 1234 Invoice date Nov 01, 2011. System does not allow. This is fine.
Now I change only date, from Nov 01 to Nov 02, and system allow posting.
Why I don't get the error message when date is different ? It should not be treated as a different invoice since invoice reference, amount, Vendor and Co Codes are same.
SAP documentation says that it checks document date during duplicate invoice check even for FI invoices, then why does it allows in this case.
Is this a bug ?
I already tried changing settings in SPRO under LIV, this does not impact FB60 invoice booking.

Use BTE - 1110 - (Check on Invoice Duplication) for FB60. Take the help of your ABAPer to make a coding in Function module mentioned in BTE.
Need to make a copy of the FM and then you can do relevant coding.

If the Flash object has focus then key presses are processed by that plugin.
In such cases you need to click outside that plugin (e.g. the menu bar if you can't click on the website) to make the keyboard work.

This can happen when the video player (Flash plugin) has the focus.
In that case the plugin consumes all the key presses.
You will have to click with the mouse elsewhere on the page or in the user interface to make keyboard shortcuts work.

Thank you Morbus and Cor-el, for your prompt replies. Here's what I did: I've placed the Firefox icon in the quick launch toolbar. So I right-click this firefox icon>Properties>Shortcut tab>in Shortcut Key field, add X (the word "None" changes to "ctrl + alt + X")>Apply>Okay>and that closes the dialog window.
Then, to try the new launch short-cut, I press and hold down, in order, ctrl, then alt, then x (holding all three down) . . . and nothing launches.
I thought this would do it! So any further thoughts would be a splendid help ---- many thanx!

InDesign CC spell check is not working at all

I have been using InDesign for around a month now and now my spell check is not working at all. I have tried replacing preferences, changed dictionaries, created new documents with placeholder text and spell check does nothing at all with all of these things. Please Help

Not all locales come with a dictionary installed for licensing reasons. 
If you do not have the en-US locale then check that you have a dictionary installed (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) and selected. 
 
You can see which dictionary is selected if you right-click in a text area and open the Languages submenu. 
Also make sure that [X]"Check Spelling" in the right-click context menu has a tick. 
You can also try to toggle the "Check Spelling" item off and on again.

Spell Checker is not working although it's enabled in the Settings and I've already installed the dictionary

I'm using the 3.6.10 version of firefox

the spell checker is not working correctly although all the settings needed are correct,
the dictionary's installed, the Spell checking is enabled from the “Browsing” section of “General” tab under “Advanced” heading .
but still it only underlines the misspelld words without giving me the probabilities of the right word .
this problem started to appear after I updated my browser version .
additionaly there is no "Add dictionary" or anything related to spell checking when I right-click the writing area .

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

CTRL+SHIFT+O does not work

WHen i attempt to save a record in an infopath form, I receive an error that the form cannot be submitted and to press CTRL+SHIFT+O to identify errors. This does nothing! Is there any other means to identify the errors on the form
or to show the user which fields are in error? All required fields are populated correctly but still the error occurs.
I also receive a browser message that error fields are outlined in red. This also does not work. No fields are outlined.

Hi jd, did you run the rule inspector in InfoPath to see what may be set up wrong? Try previewing the form in InfoPath and see where the errors are. Then check the setup on the field.

DocRef.name not working in Snow Leopard

I have been using this script fot sometime to add the Image Name/number to my images, so customers can see them on the images. But today, i noticed that my numbers are not working.
all of the sudden it will take the image name and leave off the last number, so it should show the document name/number and its wrong.
like the images are named..
8290-020.jpg and it shows 8290-020.jpg
8290-021.jpg and it shows 8290-021.jpg
8290-022.jpg and it shows 8290-02.jpg
8290-023.jpg and it shows 8290-02.jpg
8290-024.jpg and it shows 8290-02.jpg
then next time i will run it and get different results...
Can anyone look at this script and tell me why it doesn't work now and how to fix it? i'm using the latest version of Snow Leopard and PS CS3. thanks in advance...

This isn't quite correct! The 'booklet printing' facility was present (and worked - I've just checked it!) in Leopard (10.5); but, as with some other useful functionality, was lost on installing Snow Leopard (10.6).
I suspect that it is a print driver function and that (since I'm using an HP laserjet) it will be up to HP as to when, or even if, they choose to reinstate this very useful function.
Come on HP: let's have it please!

Local Admin add with GPP netbios name not working

I am trying to add domain users to be a local admin on certain machines. This however is not working with some machines critereria of the GPP.
For example: there is a GPP who adds the administrator to the local admin and deletes the ones already there. Then there follows a few other users with criteria: member of the security group laptopusers or other security groups. Also have added a user and
the criteria is netbios name of the computer. The member was immediatly added after a restart of that client.
There is also a group in AD and added members to that group that are local admin on every machine so there is no criteria. This is working fine. WHen i add all users to this group all users are local admin everywhere. Was tested.
However i have several users that do not be added to the local admin when the criteria is: netbiosname is ... Although when i give the command on the client: ipconfig /all the netbios name is exactly the same.
Looked in the winlog and it looks like a problem with the machines names or usernames. But how to solve it?
Which other cirteria i can use to add a member to local admin on a specific machine.
The GPP is beneath the computer preference and in AD beneath a computer OU.

Ok :) I know that these GPP debug logs are kind of "insufficient" in
terms of debugging ILT filtering issues, because there's absolutely
nothing about the filter evaluation in them...
In a quick test I ran right now, it worked without a problem. So it
seems you most probably will be out of luck in this forum, because it is
not a general issue.
BTW: Did you type in the name or did you select it through the object
picker button ("...")? Maybe this filter is case sensitive?

I jhave give in the name and then check name so he gets the name from AD. I have done that again to see if it works now. The strange thing is that it works well on some systems and not for some other systems...
