Ctrl- T works fine but some questions about tweaking

1) Is it possible to change the number displayed (9)?
2) Can I keep some, as they get overwritten. When does this happen? Time? How many times I've gone to that site? How many times is that?
I presently use my Favorites Bar and Groups as needed. I like the ease of use of Ctrl-T and was wondering.
I did try searching Help but nothing is broken. I'll keep trying though.

hello DrDOS, in fact it will be possible in the next version, firefox 17, to change the number of thumbnails shown (one can enter '''about:config''' into the location bar & tweak the preferences browser.newtabpage.columns & browser.newtabpage.rows). if you want you can [https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/beta/ download the beta version] which already includes the feature.
the list of sites shown gets populated by a mixture of frequent visits & recent visits (similar like the suggestions from the locationbar - mozilla calls that the [https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/The_Places_frecency_algorithm frecency algorithm]).
however you can also customize the sites shown on the new tab page by draging and pinning entries from the history/ bookmarks library onto the page.

Also try this - Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.

Internet works fine but some applications won't work (wrt54g2)

So my connection works just fine with most applications and browsing, but when I try logging into a ventrilo server I'll just get stuck on synchronizing.
When playing Heroes of Newerth too, for an instance, I'm not able to connect to any games or download the game list.
I've opened all related ports and also set my computer up as DMZ to see if that was the problem, still didn't work.
The router is WRT54G2 updated to the newest firmware.
I also have a D-LINK router and both ventrilo and heroes of newerth work just fine on that router.
Any ideas?

Who is your ISP....?
Are you able to login in the ventrilo server when connected directly to the modem...?
As you have upgraded the router's firmware,I would suggest you to reset the router for 35 seconds,power cycle the router and re-configure it from scratch...Now,try to open the required ports on the router and check.

How did you install GarageBand on your Mac? Did it come preinstalled with the other iLife applications?
If your MacOS supports the AppStore, you should be able to redownload GarageBand from the AppStore, see this support Article: OS X: About OS X Recovery on how to download again:

Click Purchases.
If you haven't previously accepted your bundled iLife applications within the Mac App Store, you should see your iLife applications appear in the Accept portion of the screen. Click Accept.

Assuming you are using Bluetooth headphones, do the apps have the option to use Bluetooth?
The app should have an option to select the speaker (or wired earphones) or the Bluetooth headphones.
You can also try:

Suddenly, I am unable to add photos to my project in Imovie 11. I have an IMac Snow Leopard 10.6.8 and have made several movies where this worked fine but for some reason, it has quit. Everything seems to be working fine except that?

I'm an oldtimer and have had this Mac for less than 2 yrs and have LOTS to learn - but I've climbed the curve a little. !'ve made several movies and published to YouTube and burned to disc using IDVD with reasonably good results. Each time I have added stills to my movies it has worked fine - but tonight, I'm suddenly unable to add them. I click "Photos" - select my photo - left click the photo and drag into the project while holding the click. Have the green "+" and the green highlight and even get the green vertical bar in the project but when I release the click, the photo simply disappears! One "clue" here may be this: I was able to add one still to this project and the only diff between it and the other still thumbnails now is that there is a "green check mark" on the thumbnail of the one successfully added. Any suggestions? (I do have the "advanced tools" option selected in IMovie Preferences.)

• iMovie ill behaving - Trash the iMovie pref file - use to set things right
• in reg. to Photos - Did You change iPhoto Photo Library - Then iMovie get's lost as it peeks into iPhoto on start up to see where photos are stored. Set iPhoto back to first Photo Library (when iMovie is not running) then start iMovie.

it's less powerful than your average computer. THink of it like a netbook but with a better processor.
It'll do fine for surfing (although if you browse a lot of flash based sites you will need to get a third party browser since safari doesn't accommodate it)
You may do OK on reading books, papers or magazines, especially if they have apps, but the ipad's screen is backlit, so it doesn't work well outdoors and you may need to fiddle with the brightness so that you don't get eye strain (it's just like doing too much reading from a computer screen)
I would say the biggest short comings are data transfer. Apple's preferred work flow is that everything is done via iTunes or the internet....well people dont' always have 100% reliable always on internet access so you can find yourself in a situation where you can't get things on/off the iPad.
By and large, it's a good device for day to day stuff, but is not a computer replacement.

If you want to use yor smartcard as secure token it doesn't have to be a JavaCard.
BTW: I don't remember a way to access PKCS#15 tokens on a JavaCard from within an oncard JavaCard program. If you want to use keys in your oncard program, you have to transfer it onto the card or generate it oncard and export the public key by your own oncard/offcard code.

I have some questions about configuration in MAX(I am a jackaroo for motion control development),I hope I can get your help.
I use PCI-7344+UMI-7764+Servo amplifier+Servo motor,my MAX version is 4.2 and I use NI-Motion7.5
My question as following:
1,In Axis Configuration,for motor type,why I must select stepper but not servo?my motor is servo motor!If I select Servo,my motor can't run,I don't know why.
If I select stepper,though motor can work but I can't test encoder in MAX.
2,In Stepper settings,for stepper loop mode,why I must select open-loop but not close-loop?If I select close-loop,the servo motor doesn't work too.
3,If I want my two servo motors run at different velocity,How shoud I do?It seems I just can set the same velocity in MAX for my two servo motors.
My English is poor,Pls pardon me!I come from China.

The manufacturer of the drive and motor that I am using now is Japan SANYO DENKI,drive type is RS1A01AA,motor type is R2AA06020FXP00.
And I use position control mode,thehe encoder's counts per revolution is 131072.I set the electronic gear ratio to 1:1 for drive.
Now,I can use Close-Loop to control the motor but still has some problems.When I configure it to run in closed loop mode, the motors behave strangely and never move to the target position.When I configure it to run in closed loop mode, the motors behave strangely and never move to the target position.The detail situation is as following
1,Motor can't run.
2, Or motor moves to a position, then moves in the same direction agian and eventually stops.
Except for the two points mentioned above,"Following Error" is occured frequently,I don't know why.
I am still not clear why I must set the motor type be stepper in MAX .
And I have another question:what the relationship between the steps and the counts?They have the proportion relations?I notice that there are a section said like this in help document: For proper closed-loop and p-command operation, steps per revolution/counts per revolution must be in the range of 1/32,767 < steps/counts < 32,767. An incorrect counts to steps ratio can result in failure to reach the target position and erroneous closed-loop stepper operation.
I am verry sorry I have too many questions!
