CTS+ Deploy in XI

Hi,
We have configured CTS+ in our XI landscape. The XI objects are succesfully getting transported to QA from Dev and when transporting from QA to PRD the deployment is happening without errors but we are not able see those transports in the PRD.
Transport log is has no errors and it is calling the right system.
Here with attaching the transport log

If you are trying to transport the integration directory objects, you would need to activate those with Integration builder.
Please check the "change list" tab with user nwdi_ctsadm.
You may find those objects there.

    Hi Mrutyunjay,
    directory transports are not activated automatically. With the CTS+ import to the directory a changelist containg the objects is created under the service user used for the target system in the XI TMS configuration.
    You have to takeover the changelist from the service user, adjust the "non-transportable" fields of the objects in the changelist, and finally activate the changelist,
    Afterwards the objects should exist in the target directory.
    Best regards,
    Silvia

  • Error "web service destination is not configured" in CTS+

    Hi experts,
    during deployment with CTS+ I get the error "web service destination is not configured" (see below). In fact there is a web service to be deployed and a WebDynpro-DC using this web service as adaptive web service model. The model uses the destination DACC_PI_WS_METADATA_DEST and DACC_PI_WS_EXECUTION_DEST. I configured both destinations in the server with type "WSDL".
    Any idea what goes wrong?

  • CTS+ transport to an air-gapped system

    Hi all,
    We had previously configured CTS+ to work, enabling transport from development system to QA.
    However, our production environment is airgapped from the dev servers for security reasons.
    We copied the cofiles and datafiles to the corresponding folders in production, and did the following configurations in the prod server:
    1. install CTS Deploy Web Service in JAVA stack of the TMS host
    2. Configure HTTP Connection CTSDEPLOY in SM59 in the TMS host
    3. Configure Logical Port for the web service in transaction LPCONFIG
    4. Defined and configured non-abap TARGET system in STMS
    The Transport Requests can be added to the buffer of the non-abap system. However, when I try to import those TRs, the transport started, and then nothing happened. The log files do not show anything.
    Anyone has any idea on why this is so? Can CTS+ work on a system that is airgapped from its source?
    Did I miss out on any configuration steps?
    Thanks for all the help!

    Hi Gordon,
    Go thru this [Link|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/45/ec25370fdc3481e10000000a1553f6/frameset.htm]. You will get the details.

    Hi Kiran,
    I think you have created an RFC destination using visual admin or NWA right. com.sap.~CTS
    in this RFC what is the client you have mentioned. It should be clnt 100 then and also the user must be exisiting in clnt 100.
    Small help required: I have seen one of your post which address the below issue:
    Already refered that note, It was the problem with CTSPROXY logical port, We created it in 000 but it should be in the integration client for the portal transports, After this we are getting the below error:

  • CTS + Error when Importing to target system (Q)

    Hi all,
    I have configured CTS+ for our portal landscape. I'm using Solman 7.0 as domain controller. I have released a transport from D system to Q, It creates a Q buffer properly. But when I try import in Q, I get the following error;

    I am not able to fix this issue. Can someone help in this regards?
    Thanks,

    Do this:
    1. Call transaction RZ21.
    2. Choose "Technical infrastructure -> Reorganize segment table".
    3. Choose "Add missing logical ports to this client", and choose "Execute".

  • NWDI CTS+ integration

    Hello,
    we have a NWDI (NW1) 7.0 SP15, three (DH2,QH2,PH2) abap systems nw7.0 with SP14 and three (DP2, QP2, PP2) java systems 7.0 with sp14. With the docu "best practices for implementing cts" we have set up CTS with close coupling between NWDI and CTS. If we create an development and transport the development through the track to prod, we can't see at which point the java development should go to the cts.
    All systems dh2, dp2, qp2, qh2, pp2, ph2 have been created on the domain controller dh2.
    System DP2 contains the following values.
    CTS_SYSTEM_TYPE = JAVA
    DEPLOY_URL = http://hostname:50218
    NON_ABAP_SYSTEM = 1
    NON_ABAP_WBO_CLIENT = 200
    WBO_FILE_TRANSFER = STREAM
    WBO_GET_REQ_STRATEGY = SMART
    WBO_REL_REQ_STRATEGY = AUTO
    In NWDI (NW1) we have activated "Connected to CTS" for all tracks.
    CTS Upload SYSTEM = DP2
    Also we have create with the viusal administrator on NWDI (NW1) the rfc
    with the following values.
    sap.com/com.sap.tc.di.CTSserver
    System = hostname
    System number = 00
    System ID = DH2
    Gateway-Host = hostname
    Gateway-Service = sapgw00
    Logon Data
    Client 200
    Username j2ee_adm_dp2
    I can open the transport web organiser and create non-abap-transports, but I can only attached files from the filesystem level. I can't find files from the NWDI.

    Alexander

  • Problem in transports EP with CTS+

    Hi gurus,
    We installed Solution Manager 4.0 SPS13 and 2 Portals 7.0 SPS13.
    Solution Manager is configured as Domain Controller and configured the
    TMS with all the systems. The Transport Routes are Portal DEV --> Portal PRO.
    We have the configuration indicated in:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/45/ec25370fdc3481e10000000a1553f6/content.htm
    The transport strategy is:
    WBO_GET_REQ_STRATEGY = Smart
    WBO_REL_ REQ_STRATEGY = Auto
    We created a transport order in the CTS+ Browser  (Standard Request), but when we try to export a package in the Portal DEV shows the error: "<i>No valid transport request found</i>".
    The same error is displayed if in the CTS+ Browser there isn't transport order created.
    Kind Regards

    We restarted all servers and it seems that this problem has been solved.
    Now, we have the following problem when we trying release the order:

    hi,
    I am looking forward to implement SAPKW70017, I  need to know the CONS of SP17, what was the reason which made you implement SP17, just to have updated Version of SP or did you face with any problems and decided to update the SP? what was the previous SP which you had,
    We have problems in F4 search help when running queries, SAP asked us to implement latest which is SP17, but wanted to make sure what would be the CONS before we do it, we are having SP15 in BI 7.0
    Please update the post for this.

    I am moving the same object from development to production, i feels ther is some problem in setting transport target.
    BS_DEV target system is BS_QA, in development sld
    BS_QA source system is BS_DEV anf target system Is BS_PRD in Quality sld
    BS_PRD source system is BS_QA, in production.
    The above error occurs when we are moving same object which i moved from development to quality to production.
    whether i need to take obejct from quality and need to move that one to production, or i can use the same development object to production...?
