CTS-PHD1080P12XS2 is support on SX80 codec

hi
the CTS-PHD1080P12XS2  PrecisionHD Camera 1080p12x  is supported on SX80 codec.
i've one sx80 witch speaker track and think buy a 3th camera CTS-PHD1080P12XS2 but no found document to support this camera on SX80.

According to the SX80 Data Sheet, it only supports the following codec/camera combinations:
SX80 Codec and PrecisionHD 1080p 4x camera for smaller room scenarios
SX80 Codec and Precision 60 Camera, for lager room scenarios with the best image quality in the market
SX80 and the SpeakerTrack 60 dual camera system, which features a unique direct, fast switching approach for active speaker tracking
You can take a look at the SX80 Installation Sheet, to see how you can use the above cameras.

    Steve,
Not to sure what type AVI files they are, the storage devise is at present offshore on a job.
Can you clarify, if you edit/import video footage with adobe premiere 10 and then create a file, the file or the original raw footage is not stored on computer for re-use, if it is stored, is it stored in the original format.
Also please find details of storage devise,

  • HT6055 Request to Apple: restore support for older codecs

I used Quicktime extensively for my research before upgrading to Mavericks, and now that these older codecs have been removed, none of my experimental videos taken over the past 5 years will play in Quicktime. This is extremely disappointing.
I'd like to gather as much user support as possible to request that Apple restore support for these older codecs.
PLEASE RESPOND ON THIS THREAD BY ADDING YOUR REQUEST FOR APPLE TO RESTORE SUPPORT FOR OLDER CODECS.
FYI, my video files were .avi format, recorded by a Nikon D300s and a Zeiss EVO 55 scanning electron microscope.

Some things can be converted without transforming the data.  I have data in Excel spreadsheets that is identical to the data in the Lotus Symphony spreadsheets in which I entered the data in 1986.  Converting video does involve data transformation which is undesirable unless it comes to a point where it is unavoidable. Speaking as a research scientist, one is obligated to try to preserve original data to a reasonable extent.  In this case the video is not "dead".  It can still be played.  It's just Apple's behavior that anything older than about 4 years is old-fashioned and to be forgotten that's mandating stepping outside Apple software to do so.  Yes, it would be a good idea to convert so when future upgrades mean no old codecs will play at least the data are available to some degree.  I still would not get rid of the old files since they are the original data, and if the person spends 30 seconds installing VLC player they can still view the original data for another 10 years at least (if they keep the computer that long -- my computer is 12 years old and I can still run applications on it dating from the early 1990s).
By the way, you can still buy VHS players.  I agree they will not be around forever, and if it's a family video you want to play 20 years from now then you may as well convert it now, but then that's not research evidence.
Optical media are dead at Apple, but still extensively used outside Apple.  I agree in 20 years it will be hard to find a DVD player but visit right now any store selling movies or music, or a public library, and optical media are still around.  Apple can force the issue where their hardware is involved, especially as regards to installing Apple software, and of course by pushing online media sales (if you buy from the iTunes Store, which I don't).

  • CTS PROCESS IN SUPPORTING

    HI
would u plz send about CTS PROCESS in SUPPORTING(means after solved ticket it is moved to production server by <b>CTS PROCESS</b> ).
    thanks & regards
    nagesh

    hi
the processing of supporting includes providing the agreed services to the customer. head count depends on the project and service level agreement, in service level agreement, important things are agreed upon, such as modules for which services will be provided and number of tickets that would be sent on a weekly or monthly basis, billing, etc.
the numbe of ppl depends on the project and its modules, for eg if its a standard SAP support and project is small then usually functional consultants for each module, one abaper and one basis person.
ticket sending process - SAP provides solution manager which most of the companies use, there are also other tools such as soda, etc.
    hope its helpful

  • Max. install distance for Speaker Track 60 Cameras to SX80 CODEC

Just integrated a SX80 / Speaker Track 60 system and the cameras are not providing video signal, (selfview) to the integrated displays.
Question: What's the maximum length a Non-Active HDMI cable can be, between the PHD 60 camera(s) and the SX80 CODEC?
Will Active HDMI cables help carry the camera's video signal to distances of 50' or greater?

I don't know about the SpeakerTrack 60, but I know the PrecisionHD cameras, the maximum was 50 meters (50 feet) with a category 2 good quality HDMI cable.  I looked through the SpeakerTrack documentation, but didn't find any mention of maximum length for the HDMI cable, however I did find the below searching online.

  • Avi file type support - video component codec

I was trying to make a movie out of the clips from my flip mino video camera.
I have a flip mino video camera. The file format that it generates is .avi.
I uploaded the .avi clips in Premiere Elements 7.  The audio part is OK but for the viedo part, I get a message that says that the codec is not supported.

Video codec Name: adpcm (0x0002) Microsoft Corporation

      Type: AVI
      I/L: Not supported.
What can I do?  Can I convert the files to another format; or should I use another software to make a movie?
    Any suggestion is greatly appreciated.

Yes this is a common problem with Flip video. See this FAQ on how to manage your Flip video clips:

  • Tried Most Everything... Error Type of file not supported... codec not installed

Hi Friends: I have been battling with the error message of ... "Type of file not support or codec not installed."  I have been throughout the forums searching for answers and attempting various suggestions.  I am stumped and am reaching out for some wisdom and help.
1.)    System Gateway – T-6859u, Intel Core 2 Duo T6400 2Ghz, 4 Gig ram, Problem has existed on both Vista and upgraded Windows 7.  I have used Premiere since Premier 5 (Full version not elements) including versions 6 and PRO.  I have Elements on my laptop for convenience.
2.)    Assets- Problem exists with all AVI files.  This includes files that worked previously but will no longer be recognized.  I have used Elements since version 7 was new.  It is only the last 4 months this has been and issue.  These are AVIs that previously working in Elements 7 from Panasonic DV camera and other DV sources.
3.)    Problem first appeared when Windows Update installed security patch KB975560.  Once the Security patch installed Premiere quit running AVIs.  When the patch was removed Premiere worked again. However, windows update continued to reload the patch.  The patch has now been removed and prevented from reloading.  However, the problem now persists.
4.)    Other attempted repairs.  Reloading Premiere Elements 7, Upgrading to Windows 7, Removing and reinstalling K-Lite Codec packs inc standard and 64bit.  Loading LEADTOOLS.  None has repaired the problem  All the AVI files playback fine in other programs including Windows Movie Maker, Media Player Classic, WM player etc.
I'm not sure what to do next.  I have been a dedicated Premiere user for so many years, I don't want to switch to another program.  Any suggestions friends?

    Welcome to the forum.
What version of Apple's QT Player do you have installed?
PrE relies on this much more than its big-brother, PrPro, until CS5.
From my experience, QT  7.5.5 was my "last known good," and some problems have been reported with the 7.6.2 and 7.6.3 versions. 7.6.6 is out, and works well for many Adobe users.
I would investigate updating QT Player.
Also, FFDShow, an element in K-Lite has been death to PrPro for many people. Just having it installed brings PrPro to its knees.
Though Adobe hides its CODEC's pretty well, K-Lite has been known to shift the priority of the Adobe MainConcept CODEC's. While it does not overwrite them, or delete them, it sets up some of its CODEC's to take priority. There are some older threads on Registry editing and utilities to reset the priority of the Adobe MainConcept CODEC's. Seems that Robert Johnson participated in those discussions and may have furnished the link to at least one utility.
Those are all the thoughts that I have now, and none might be of use.
    Good luck,
    Hunt
PS - Robert has not been around here lately, but does spend time on the Muvipix Community forum. I'd post there in the PrE 7 forum, and ask if anyone has any ideas too.

  • SX80 Codec HDMI audio

    Morning all,
Just a quick one, I have three SX80's with a PC connected to HDMI input 2 and three on all units I get no audio on the second input. I have checked the configuration settings and audio is selected to on. Has anyone else encountered this issue?
    Cheers Anthony

HDMI Inputs 1 and 2 are generally used for Cameras and it's recommended that the PC is connected to HDMI 3.  This is mentioned in the SX80 Admin Guide, page 120 - Connecting a computer.
You also need to check that the PC is sending a standard stereo signal down the HDMI and not a Dolby Digital/DTS/WMA/or other encoded audio stream - this is usually the issue from my experience.

  • Cisco SX80 Codec ERROR: Camera Pairing

On camera 2 I get the error message "
ERROR: Camera PairingCamera pairing failed: lost connection with camera
if I get it connected it stays connected for less than 15 minutes before it drops offline.

Some simple things you can try:
Check that your ethernet cable is plugged in securely at both ends.
If the problem persists, try another, known working cable between the two and see if the error stays or goes away.
Swap Camera 1 and Camera 2 around to see if the issue stays with the camera, or the connection.

  • DNG codec doesn't support descriptive tags in Windows 7

I installed the Adobe DNG codec yesterday which does indeed make it possible for Windows Explorer, Windows Media Player, Windows Live Photo Gallery and Windows Media Center to display DNG files (as thumbnails and as full sized images).  I discovered however that descriptive tags are not supported.  I use descriptive tags to organize my JPG photos. Descriptive tags are fully supported with JPG files in Windows 7.  Windows Explorer exposes them for viewing and editing in the metadata pane along the bottom of the window.  Windows Live Photo Gallery exposes them for editing and in the tree structure that is used for navigation.  Users in Windows Media Center can choose to view their photos by descriptive tags, or date, or folder.  Without descriptive tags, my photos would be a disorganized mess.  I'd like to switch to storing my photos as DNG's rather than as JPG's, but it just isn't feasible without descriptive tag support in the codec.  Any chance the DNG codec will support descriptive tags in a future release?

  • CS4: Add codec support

Does anyone know how I can add support for a codec in Premiere Pro CS4 [Windows]?
I would like to have the XVID [not DIVX!] codec and the X264 [not H264!] codecs to be supported by Premiere Pro, because I cant seem to import any of my custom converted videos [well, actually importing works, but Premier only shows 1 frame, and sometimes a bit of sound...]
It seems like Premiere Pro doesnt support anything! [except for the WMV codec, but that s*cks...]
Please tell me how to add codec support to Premier Pro CS4!

Well, let me explain it all now:
-I used a video camera to shoot some clips.
-Those clips were automatically encoded with the H.264 codec. [as it is Full HD footage]
-When i tried to play these files on my computer, it displayed weird black bars on the left and right.
-So i wanted to convert those files using another codec, to make them look properly on my computer.
-So i opened the videofile with Any Video Converter Pro to have a look if that program does read the format properly.
-It seemed that Any Video Converter Pro was able to read the file properly.
*I think that is because it has build-in codecs or something? ... on the other hand, the codec i use a lot, x264 and xvid, which are available in the program, arent available by default: i installed them. So the problem would be on my computer [Vista 64bit] and laptop [Vista 32bit] not being able to handle the H.264 codec properly, as Any Video Converter Pro was able to read them properly.
-Using the fact that A.V.C.P. [Any Video Converter Pro] was able to read the file properly, i converted it to another HD codec: X264, which my computer can display without any problems at all: now the black bars on the side are gone.
-But now I want to use Pr to start the videoediting of multiple clips. Unfortunatly, Pr isnt able of reading the X264 codec.
-So i tried other codecs, like the ones which are supposed to be supported: MP4 , MPEGII, Microsoft AVI 1, Panasonic DV, XVid, DivX and WMV.
The only format which Pr seems to like is WMV:
-With the other codecs, it only shows the first frame, though it does import the files [no errors given].
-Only the Panasonic DV and MPEGII codec gave the error of not being able to be imported.
On to the information of the sequence and the used footage:
    SEQUENCE:
    Capture Format: HDV
    Preset Used: AVC-I 100 1080p30
    FOOTAGE:
    Container: AVI
Codec: X264 [originally H264, explanation above]
    Audio: MP3
    Resolution: 1920x1080, aka Full HD
    Video Bitrate: 6000
Just for the record, here is the comparison of two identical files, both the same footage, left is converted to X264, right is the original, using H264.
Here is the comparison of the two files when played; again: Left X264, Right H264: [both reduced in size, to make them fit in this image I also removed the persons, for privacy reasons.] I tried different media players, but all show the same: GOM Player, Windows Media Player, VLC Media Player, Quicktime Player, RealPlayer. Also installing the Full K-Lite Codec Pack didnt make a difference.

  • Is HDCAM-SR codec support coming for Premiere?

With Sony's recent implementation of the SR codec into the F5 and F55 cameras, does Adobe plan to support the use of SR?   All the other mainstream NLE's support it but not Adobe.   I asked Sony and got a blank "we don't discuss these sorts of things" response.

I too am curious if Premiere will support the SR codec. Final Cut Pro does and Avid has an AMA setting for it. The F5 & F55 are getting more popular and I think it's a necessary move for Adobe. They were last to the game on XAVC codec I believe, but support for it did recently arrive. Very glad to see XAVC is now supported in Creative Cloud.

  • G.726 codec support

    Hi,
as far as I can tell UCM doesn't specifically support G.726 codecs in the Region configuration. If that codec is being used.... any advice to which setting in Region to use? I've checked various releases from 5.1 to 7.1... there doesn't seem to be any mention of g.726.
    Thanks

    Check out Table 6-2
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/srnd/6x/media.html
Looks to me that it is not supported.    Possibly, you may have to shoot the call through an h323 gateway and transcode it there to something say  G729.  Im not sure if that will work, but its worth a try.
