CTS+ - Transport Organizer Web UI

Hi,
I am trying to configure CTS+ for our landscape with Solman (Stack 15) as the Domain Controller.
I have not added other transport groups yet. But I am not able to get to the Transport Web UI through
STMS -> Environment -> Transport Organizer Web UI
If I directly type in the URL I can see it:
http://<host>:<port>/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/cts_browser?sap language=EN&SYSID=<SID>&APPLICATION=OTHERS
Any ideas?

Recently I got this problem. Previously, I managed to get the screen from STMS. Now, I have type the URL directly.
Any idea?

The Transport Organizer Web UI can be called via the following URL: 'Protocol'://'server':'Web AS Port'/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/cts_browser?SYSID='SID of Development System as Configured in TMS'

CMS-Transport Studio: Link Transport Organizer is disabled

When I using Change Management Service- Transport Studio, I see that the link Transport Organizer is disabled with information
" Change and Transport System not configured for the selected Track" , I already config CMS and TMS as the document guide.
Please help me resolve this problem.

The situation looks more like an configuration issue, very
probably caused by the error concerning the name of the RFC destination
(note 1003674): Please ensure that the destination is named
'sap.com/com.sap.tc.di.CTSserver', with only capital 'CTS', but
completedly small 'server' at the end.

Transport Organiser Web UI

Hi,
I am unable to open the Transport Organiser Web UI from the CTS window i.e. when i select to open it, it asks for the system to be openend and then a blank browser comes up, Whereas it works perfectly fine when given the URL manually.
Any help?

1. Are you opening the web service from SICF?
The reason it asks for System ID is that the webservice config of CTS_BROWSER does not contain any indication of the system for which you need to open the WebUI. So it always asks like this.
The reason your direct URL is working is because it might be containing the reference to the system for which the CTS Browser needs to be opened.
2. The correct way to open the Transport Organiser Web UI is by creating a'SAP Wyb Dynpro' iView in the portal and in the field 'Application parameters' enter 'SYSID=<sid>' of the system for which you are looking to open the Web UI.

Communication channel parameters are not tranported in CTS+ transport

My scenario is MDM to jms.
we have configured the cts+ transport in our system.
We transported the ESR and ID objects from development to Quality.
But in the sender mdm communication channel the everything is getting transported except Repository password.
when i checked in the quality system the Repository password was blank.
And receiver jms communication channel details are in
dev system
IP Address or server Name:135.12.14.12
server port                          :3321
Queue manange name       :RRTYRKB
channel name                  :KDIEKE.MDM
Quality System
IP Address or server Name:localhost
server port                        :1414
Queue manange name       :QM_hostname
channel name                    :S_hostname
i want know whether this is the case when we do the cts+ transport?
if it is the case should i edit the objects in the Quality sysem(which i don't want to do).

communication channel attrubites always get reset in the new env - TEST, PRD, etc.
and you always need to fill them once more - this is the normal way
otherwise - would you like to use DEV parameters on PRD system ?
maintaining the channel attributes is a typical task on all landscapes

Diffrence between File Transport and CTS+ Transport in PI

Hi Guys,
Can you please explain me the diffrence between File Transport and CTS+ Transport in PI.
What are the advantages of CTS+ Transportation over FILE Transportation...

The file transfer will simply export the objects to a TPZ file, allowing you to import on the target system. This requires manual copying and paste of the object and have no further control.
CTS+ on the other side, allows the environment to maintain transport requests with control over objects audit. For example, an object must be created on DEV, then after being developed it must go to QA system and will only be sent to PROD when this object was approved by the respective team on QA. Import CTS+ transport into Portal failed with Returncode:'12'

I have encountered the problem while deploying CTS+ transport to the Portal (system XO3): Returncode:'12' class java.io.IOException:

The file ctsplus.par does exists at the right place and available from the Portal machine.
Especially strange looks the Deployable-Id: *
solman.mycompany.com\sapmnt\trans\data/BIGK900007/ctsplus.par*
Maybe the different slashes "\" and "/" are the cause of the porblem? Both systems (Portal and Solution manager) run on Windows 2003 Servers.
I have checked the "Note 1232674 - class java.io.IO exception during import" and set up the full control permissions to access "\sapmnt\" for the local (solman) user SAPServiceXO3 but it does not help.
I've created a local "SAPServiceXO3" user in the server of Solman and have given to it highest permissions to the file share. Has anybody any idea how to resolve the problem?

Aggregation level ZFI_FINGL is locked by the Change and Transport Organizer

Dear,
After transport from a dev to prod system I get this message on the planning modeler :
"System is not set to changeable - objects are not changeable
Aggregation level ZFI_FINGL is locked by the Change and Transport Organizer"
Do you know how to fix it ?

Hi,
By default the planning modeller configuration is added to the standard BEx transport (if it is not saved in $TMP). If there is not one set up then create one in the admin workbench transport connection.
If you don't use this, then you can add the objects you wish to change manually into a transport before you change them - this also works.

Aggregation level is locked by the Change and Transport Organizer

Dear All,
I have created aggregation level in the planning cube and transported to Production from dev, Once i transported to production i am not able to change the aggregation level in Dev, and also aggregation level is Inactive. Aggregation level YPNC2 is locked by the Change and Transport Organizer. Please suggest how to activate the aggregation level in Dev.

Kindly check the following,
1. Is your aggregation level transported properly to the production system ?
2. Was your aggregation level active while you were including it in the transport request ?
3. Did you properly include the aggregation level in the request?
If you find that the answers of all the above questions is "YES", then there should not be any problem in your aggregation level.

How to transport a web template?

Can anyone please explain to me how to transport a web template which contains many web items (include 10 queries)?
After I collected this web template, I got error message when I execute it in Q.

That's what I did. I transported two web templates before (contain 1 query only) and they all worked. But just not this new one. Here is the error message:

Facing problem in transportation of web Interface

Hi BPS Experts,
I am facing problem in transporting the web interface.
As part of one enhancement I have made some changes to one of the objects in web Interface in Integration system. Before doing transportation to consolidation, generated the new BSP application as well as saved the customized changes under one request for transport.
Used the request number for Transporting to consolidation. The Layout in the consolidation is displaying error message as follows
*Error with initialization or error on BSP*
Component with name Group_Selection1 does not exist
BSP application ZEBSP08_RF does not exist. Regenerate
and when i check the web interface under BPS_WB transaction in consolidation. i able to see the change in objects which i made in integration.
Please help in solving this problem in Layout.

Create the same function group and send it into test system with another TR.
Once it get transported to test system, try to activate FM & FG.

Transport a web template

Does anybody know if it is possible to transport a web template for example from a test system into a production system? Or do I have to do it manually? With "export to file"?

yes, it's possible to transport webtemplate from dev to test/prod.
rsa1->transport connection->left panel choose 'object type', middle panel, you will see 'webtemplate' (under 'query element'?) -> expand it and choose 'select object', you will get a list of webtemplates, you can use binocular icon to locate your webtemplate, then click 'transfer'. will go to right panel, with grouping 'only necessary objects' system will collect queries/query views related. click 'transport'.

Delete request in transport organizer

If I accidentally collect many unwanted infoobjects in the request, so i need to delete the request in transport organizer. Now I can only delete the info object one by one. If there a feature that i can select all of them and delete all?

Go to SE03 --> under folder Requests / Tasks --> dbl click on "Unloak Objects (Exper tool)"
from the next screen, enter Request no and execute..
unloack all requests that u want to delete. (childs requests and then parent request).
Thnen go to SE09 --> delete those requests, which were unlocked

Searching for screen exit in Transport Organizer

I'm searching for a possibility to add an additional tab to the Transport Organizer with some additional fields. Is there any enhancement / screen exit available for this kind of extension without the need to modify the SAP standard?

I did some searches on transactions th Transporte Organizer and is not possible to do what you need, unfortunately.
Well, what I recommend you to do, is call a online program in the enhancements existing, perhaps can be a solution this problem.
